Fifteen months after that dramatic night at prom, everything has changed. Inside a large white house on the corner of Rosemont street, Bayley sat at a dinner table with her sister, Aj and their grandparents, George and Mellie Moreno.

"Are you excited for your senior year, Bayley?" George asked.

"Sure." Bayley said.

"And Aj? Have you decided what you want to do with your year off?" Mellie asked.

"Not yet." Aj said.

"It's been more than a year since we took the two of you in. Don't you think it's time you two let down your guards a little bit? We are only trying to help you." Mellie said.

"I'm sorry grams but we tried telling you that this wasn't going to work. She and I only just met a few months ago and I haven't seen the two of you since mother's funeral." Bayley said.

"I get that you have been on your own these past few months and Aj, you have been on the streets for years.. but we are here to give you guys a few more years of normalcy." George said.

Bayley sighed and rolled her eyes.

"What about your boyfriend, Aj? How has he been?" Mellie asked.

"He's good. I helped him finish moving everything into the loft last night." Aj said.

"I knew that would be a perfect match. Joe has been complaining to me for years about renting that out someone." George said.

"Thanks for helping him out, it really means a lot." Aj said.

"No problem, sweetheart. Anything we can do to help." Mellie said as the doorbell rang.

Bayley jumped out of her seat and ran to the door. Aj rolled her eyes and Sasha walked inside.

"Hey babe." Sasha greeted her with a kiss.

"We will be upstairs if you need us." Bayley said as she grabbed Sasha's hand and pulled her upstairs.

Aj nodded her head in disapproval.

"She didn't finish her dinner." George said.

"I'm sure Sasha brought something for her to eat." Aj joked to herself.

"What was that?" Mellie asked.

"Nothing. Why does her girlfriend get to come over every night and Seth can't? Aj asked.

"Because Sasha isn't going to get her pregnant up there." George said.

"Seriously?" Aj asked.

"I'm on the pill, you know that right?" Aj asked.

"We aren't just going to let you girls go around and have sex all the time. What kind of grandparents do you think we are?" George asked.

"What do you think they are doing up there right now?" Aj asked.

"Oh, Aj.. Don't be so vain. Bayley is waiting until marriage, she told me herself." Mellie assured her.

Aj laughed and threw her head on the table.

Upstairs, Sasha threw Bayley onto her bed and crawled on top of her.

"Took you long enough to get here." Bayley said as she threw off her shirt.

"I'm sorry, Roman and I were watching a movie." Sasha said.

Bayley pressed her lips against Sasha's as they began making out. Bayley let out a small moan as Sasha's hands roamed into her pants. Suddenly, someone burst in the door.

"You should probably lock this next time." Aj said.

Bayley rolled her eyes as Aj left. Sasha laughed as she leaned over Bayley.

"She's still pissed about Seth not being aloud in her room?" Sasha asked.

"Oh yeah." Bayley said.

"It's kind of cute if you think about it. You and Aj are fighting like actual sisters now." Sasha said.

Bayley sat up on her bed and looked at Sasha.

"Is she really that bad?" Sasha asked.

"It's not her, it's my grandparents. They just came in and took over everything." Bayley said.

"Things are a lot better though, you have to admit." Sasha said.

"Especially now that I've got you in my bed." Bayley joked.

Sasha laughed and got up. She walked over to Bayley's records and grabbed an album from "The Fray." Sasha took out the record and played the song "Never Say Never." Bayley got up and grabbed Sasha's hand. They began to dance as the lyrics reminded them of everything they had gone through to get where they are today..

Bayley spun Sasha around and pulled her in close and they swayed back and forth. They let their eyes speak for them as they danced in silence.

Across the hall, Aj was reading on her bed when she heard something hit her window. She got up and looked outside to find Seth throwing rocks. Aj smiled and grabbed her black leather jacket. She opened the window and climbed down. Aj jumped a few feet but finally reached the ground. The motion sensor sprinklers came on as she ran to Seth. He grabbed her hand and they ran to the street where he parked his motorcycle. Aj greeted Seth with a kiss as she wrapped her arm around his neck. 

"Damn, I'm so lucky." Seth said as he held Aj's waist and looked into her eyes.

"Let's go playboy." Aj said as she got on the back of his bike.

Seth laughed and got on the bike. He stared the motor as Aj wrapped her arms around him.

"Hold on tight, babe." Seth said with a smirk on his face.

Aj laughed as they drove off.

At Joe's, Mike and Finn were sharing a pizza with Mandy and Roman.

"When did you get back in town?" Mike asked.

"This morning, camp ended on Friday." Mandy said

"How was it?" Finn asked.

"It was a bunch of rich kids riding horses, nothing too special." Mandy said.

"I bet it wasn't that bad." Roman said.

"Apparently I didn't have as much fun as you and Sasha." Mandy said.

"What? Sasha?" Roman asked.

"That's all you have been able to talk about since I have gotten back. Sasha this and Sasha that.." Mandy said.

"We have just gotten a lot closer, that's all. My parents were nice enough to let her stay with us ad it's just nice having a friend I guess. Dean is gone and Seth's always with Aj.." Roman said.

"Sorry, I get it. I shouldn't have said anything. I guess I just miss you, that's all." Mandy said as she held Roman's hand over the table.

"I missed you too, babe." Roman said with a smile on his face.

"So are you ready for college life?" Finn asked.

"I guess. I don't think it's going to be the full experience though, since I am commuting." Roman said.

"It will still be a great experience though, man." Mike said.

"Yeah, it will be." Roman said.

Finn looked at the door as Seth and Aj walked in. He waved but they didn't even see him. Everyone turned to look as they rushed upstairs. 

"He fucking lives here and he can't even come say hi? We eat here like every day." Roman said.

Back at George and Mellie's, Bayley and Sasha were finishing their dance.

"I'll be right back, I have to use the restroom." Bayley said as she walked out of the room.

Sasha waited until she heard the bathroom door shut before opening Bayley's closet. She grabbed a brown shoe box on the top shelve and pulled it out. She closed her eyes, hoping for the best and opened the box. Inside was a t-shirt, an engagement ring, and a half empty bottle of vodka. Sasha let out a sigh and closed the shoe box. As she heard the toilet flush she panicked and put the shoe box back on the shelf.

"It looks like Aj ran off with Seth again." Bayley said as she returned to her bedroom.

"You're sure your grandparents don't know she has been sneaking out? It's kind of obvious." Sasha laughed.

"Who knows with those two." Bayley said.

Sasha looked at Bayley for a minute with a smile on her face.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Bayley asked.

"I just.. you're doing okay, right?" Sasha asked.

"Sasha, we have been over this. I'm fine." Bayley said.

"It's just that before.." Sasha said.

"I know things got bad before but I'm all better now, I promise." Bayley said.

"I just worry about you, that's all." Sasha said.

"I know but you don't have to." Bayley said.

"Okay.. I should get going, it's getting pretty late." Sasha said.

"I'll see you tomorrow?" Bayley asked.

"See you tomorrow, babe." Sasha said as she kissed Bayley on the lips.

Bayley ran her fingers through Sasha's hair as they began to make out.

"I have to go." Sasha laughed as she pulled herself away.

Bayley watched with a smile on her face as Sasha walked downstairs, biting her lip. She went back to her room and watched out her window. Butterflies filled her stomach but the warmth in her heart quickly faded as Sasha pulled out of the driveway. Bayley paced her bedroom floor as anxiety overcame her. After minutes of trying to fight the urge, she couldn't anymore. She pulled out a record of Simple Minds and played the song "Don't You (Forget About Me). Bayley turned on her t.v. and Breakfast Club was already pulled up. She clicked play from the beginning and turned the music down a little bit. Bayley walked over to her closet and reached for her brown shoe box. She took off her clothes and put on the t-shirt. Next, Bayley retrieved the engagement ring from the box and put it on her ring finger. A tear fell from her eye as she grabbed the bottle of vodka and crawled into bed.

Back at Roman's house, Sasha pulled into the drive way and walked inside. Roman was sitting on the couch with a box of donuts.

"Donuts!" Sasha yelled as she jumped on the couch next to Roman.

"Mandy didn't like that I brought you donuts." Roman said.

"Did you tell her that I have a girlfriend and that you're not my type?" Sasha asked.

"Yeah, I told her that." Roman said.

"I thought Mandy wasn't really the jealous type?" Sasha asked.

"She isn't.." Roman said.

"Should we send her a picture of us?" Sasha joked.

"How's our girl doing?" Roman asked.

"She seems a lot better but I don't know.. something still doesn't seem right." Sasha said.

"Does she still have that shoe box?" Roman asked.

"Yeah.." Sasha said.

"You have to admit, she is doing a lot better than she was. I mean a few months ago.. that shit was bad." Roman said.

"I know she is doing a lot better but I don't know how she is when I'm not there you know? When it's just her and I, everything is great." Sasha said.

"It's good that she has you.. if you weren't here I don't think she would be able to make it." Roman said.

Sasha sighed and ate a donut.

Seth dropped Aj off at her grandparents and she climbed back up to her room. Aj immediately opened Bayley's door to check on her. The t.v. was on, music was playing, and Bayley was passed out with a bottle of vodka in her hand. Aj sighed and walked over to Bayley's bed. She took the bottle of vodka and put the lid back on it. Aj put the liquor back in the shoe box and shut off the t.v. as if this were a routine. She left the music playing and covered her sister up under the blankets. Aj moved the hair from Bayley's faced and kissed her forehead.

"Sweet dreams, little sister." Aj whispered.
