"Intruders!"

BrookHeart quickly shot up from her nest. Her eyes wide and alarmed."What's going on?" She meowed alarmed,to NightFlight,who was just exiting the Warriors den bristling from the unexpected meow.The black she cat looked back at BrookHeart."DeerFur smelled horrible scents. Every cat is gathering around her and waiting till she says what it was. LittleNose yowled 'Intruders' after DeerFur said she smelled something odd.
You know. Your mother is getting very old yet her nose works" BrookHeart sighed. Her head low and she padded out of her den.

When she exited she saw a group of cats meowing questios in a circle around her mother."What was it? What did you smell,DeerFur?" Yellowstar impatiently meowed. DeerFur hesitated."I don't know! I don't even know if it was a bad smell! I can't smell it no more.Maybe it was one of the older scraps of furs stench!"She meowed irritated her pale blue eyes scanning at the group of cats. It was like if she can see the whole group. LittleNose,who was the oldest cat in the clan,huffed. "Maybe it was!" He Meowed,clearly offended of the blind she cats words. RowanFur nodded. Yellowstar just sighed.
"I guess this was a waste of breath" TigerStripe grumbled. DeerFur hissed at him." Well I'm not lying! I know I smelled something odd! But I can't smell it nomore!" Yellowstar shook her head and padded up to the high rock."Let all cat old enough to catch there own prey to gather here under this rock for a clan meeting." She leaped at the tip while BrookHeart sat next to WolfClaw,who just looked at her with uneased eyes."your belly is getting more bigger" he whispered in her ear. BrookHeart huffed. "I know!" She whispered back. "I-" WolfClaw stopped when Yellowstar interrupted "DeerFur smelled something odd outside the camp. Cats of Northclan! We must increase border patrols! And if you smell oddness,report back and we'll send a party of reinforcement. It might be kits of foxes." She scanned her clan with wise Amber eyes. "Or Badgers!" Screeched Ivyshine. BrookHeart ears pricked while murmurs of agreements spread through out the clan. "Then this is decided-"

"Intruders!!"

Every cats head whipped at LittleNose who was at the back of the clan,bristling at two strange shapes from the entrance of the camp.BrookHeart tried to get a clear view. All of a sudden she smelled a familiar scent'Wait a minute' "We aren't intruding!" She heard a familiar husky meow. Two cats emerge from the entrance. "Then who are you?" JayWing asked glaring at them. "Trespassers!" Hissed WillowClaw.BrookHeart turned at the clan leader, who was watching with narrowed eyes. Then she turned back."I am Bolt. And this is Spike." "Rogues!" Whispered WolfClaw. BrookHeart bristled"Shut up and listen!" She hissed at him. WolfClaw rolled his eyes. "What do you want?" Yellowstar meowed while jumping off of the high rock and padded in front of bolt and spike till she was face-to-face with them. Bolt sat up straight."We want to join you." He meowed. Spike nodded in agreement."Please. We would do everything you want us to do." After a few moments YellowStar turned to her clan. "Who here Agree on having two new members?" BrookHeart stood."I agree." She scanned her whole clan."We need more warriors!" Her voice rang.
"We need more Eyes to keep us safe."
Every cat turned to the unexpected meow. BrookHeart heart skipped a beat. It was BerryClaw. The ginger she cat looked at her with wise eyes.
YellowStars head nodded. "Anybody else?" "I would want a new buddy from a different kin to hunt with!" FeatherPaw meowed standing on her paws. She looked at her brother and nudged him. "Me 2 " DustPaw meowed puffing out his chest.

Yellowstar turned to Bolt"We must hold a ceremony ,today." Then she looked down at Spike. "You may be young but im going to be putting u in the apprentice den.We need more warriors."Spike looked at her with wide eyes."Thank you" he whispered. Yellowstar just nodded and padded towards her rock."Follow me." She meowed. BrookHeart watched them go. 'He can't be here!' She thought. She glanced at WolfClaw. His eyes narrowed following BrookHearts kits,father. Then bolts eyes met hers. She looked away and closed her eyes.'He's crowfood. ':(she thought.
