𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆
family is always and forever

THEY'RE searching. They have been since the moment they woke up in an abandoned field with nothing but trees surrounding.

They remember that day clearly.

The licked at their sunburned faces and coiled around their limbs like a great hot-blooded serpent. The ground smoldered and sent up a disorientating haze. Even the birds were silent and the grass stood still as if too hot to move.

The bodies stood up, not dead like many would think if they were seen, limp on the ground, no facial expressions. The ground that surrounded them was burnt out, almost like a big ball of fire fell down on them, leaving them be, but destroying their surroundings.

They looked to each other and was shocked — they haven't seen each other in years — longer than they thought, actually. They both died, they knew that. They knew that they have been dead for a while now, and that's why it took them a minute to realize what was happening before hugging each other.

Father and son.

Reuniting after death.

It was weird. Surreal, to be exact.

"How are we—" The youngest of the two began asking, but was cut off by the older one shaking his head.

He scratched his beard as he looked around in confusion, before his eyes widened. His hazel eyes were shining under the heated sun, allowing the youngest to see how much the older man still looked younger than he was suppose to be. But, death does that to you, so he wasn't that surprised.

"Sam... Dean," the eldest spoke, his voice scratchy. "Clarke," he spoke his daughters name with so much love that his youngest son could see it through his eyes.

"My brother's and sister," the youngest spoke, shocking his dad. "I met them... before I died."

"Adam..." The man trailed off, his face sullen. "I—"

"I don't care about your reasons for not telling me about them," Adam cut him off, running a hand through his short blonde hair. "I only care about why we're alive, how we're alive, and where the hell we are."

The man nodded, sighing. "It has to do something with my kids, I know it."

Adam then nodded in agreement. "Then, lets find them and find out."

They have been searching for months now, but it's kinda hard to find people in an apocalypse.

After a very short amount of time after their realization, did they find out that their world wasn't their world anymore. It was overrun by the dead, hundreds and hundreds of the dead. Wanting to feast on their skin.

They have traveled far and long, and they were tired, so tired, but they were not going to stop searching for their family.
