I look around and spot a frog, it looks at me with it's bulging eyes and it croaks, I giggle and cup my paws around the frog and it jumps on, the frog doesn't budge so I look at and bring it close to my face, we stare at each other , our eyes moving. It jumps at me moments later and I squeal. It jumps away and I hear soft footsteps crunch some leaves and I scan the area around, my body tense. I get up and  I poke my nuzzle through the waterfall to see my dad and mum sleeping. I giggle as I peer through and giggle as I see them sleeping. 

A voice resonates behind me with a ring and says, "Hey there pup! Are you lost?" I turn around to see a police officer behind me with a sweet smile on her muzzle. I shake my head and she looks at me confused.  "Then w-.... Where is your mum and da then??" I shrug and she gasps as she sneaks inside. "Awww! That's so cute!" I giggle and follow her in, they two had turned into wolves and were curled up together. 

She flicks a lever and a cage goes around them, I yelp and try to run. She grabs my arm and drags me out and puts me into the back of her police cruiser and she closes the door. I scratch at the window and she comes back minutes later with my mum and da in a cage and she throws them in the back with me. "Sofia! Are you ok?" I nod and try to undo the latches to the cage. "You can do It Sofia!" My da gives me encouragement, I hear something buzz through the air and it hits me on my leg. I fell back onto the seat and reached out to them as my vision went dark.

"Wake up, Sofia!" I hear a voice call out my name and I open my eyes sleepily. I don't see the cage in front of me and I whimper. All I saw was the blue ceiling of someone's room, I get up and mewl, and I felt weak and hungry.

"I..."Spoke softly and I squealed. I saw a shaft of light enter the room and my eyes gleam. I looked around at my room and saw that vibrant colors blasted off the walls, the floor was a dirt brown, the door and the wall it was in was a shady green. "This is so pretty!" I exclaim with my newfound voice and I walk to the entrance and open the door, I found myself outside in a deciduous forest. I turn around and go back inside to the kitchen to find myself in a 60's and futuristic mixture and I sat on one of the chrome bar-stools. 

"Good morning Sofia..." I heard a small voice trail off behind me and I swirled around to see the tired fox in a nightgown. Her smile was warm and soft, her eyes had a friendly light, one ear was up and the other down and her tail wagged slowly, but happily behind her. Her eyes were a hazel color with a tinge of grass green towards the pupil. She walks over and sits on the bar itself. "I don't know what last night... I... I saw you in a police car and I took you home... No one was around it...." She looks at the spotless white tile and her perk up.

"M-Mum??" I got off the barstool despite her pleas and I walk to the door, I feel arms wrap around me and the fox picked me up.

"Don't open the door.... I already know who it is... I don't plan on finding out what happened your parents."

I nod and mewl out, W-Who is it?!" She writes it down and that alone shuts me up. I pout and whimper softly. She puts me down and I go to my room where I grab a purple ball with spikes on it. I walk back and I touched all the spikes, one by one, with my paw.

A more urgent knock sounds, "OPEN UP!" is the voice that demands. I yelp and drop the ball. A louder knock shatters my courage and I go squealing into my room and I heave the oak door shut behind me. I hear a voice and strain to make out who it belonged to, but to no avail. Footsteps go my way and my heart skips a beat. I lower myself on my belly and painfully make my way over to the closet. Sofia? Where are you?" A voice teases me and I almost  walk out, I instead clench a paw another ball I  had grabbed and I go stiff as I hear the door creak open. "Where are you, Sofia?" 

"GET AWAY FROM THERE!" I hear the intruder close the door and things clatter to the ground in the living room.
