You'll Love This Part!

"It's time." Byron smiled at The Hawkins boys. He looked at Malcolm. "You will love this part!" Byron was standing outside in a field. Malcolm stared at Byron who half shifted and howled. It was so loud that they had to cover their ears. Byron stopped as the howl echoed. Malcolm was ready to drag him to the ground.

"That was so hot!" Malcolm smiled.

"I know." Byron was very modest. They both chuckled. Byron turned and watched wolves come from the woods. Well, people but they were his pack.

Val walked up. "You called a meeting, Sir?"

Byron smiled. "Just wanted to make a couple of announcements and introduce everyone officially."

Val smiled. "Been a while huh?" He hit Byron on the back and stood beside him. Skyler walked up and nodded and stood beside his Alpha. People started arriving and stood in a large group. Malcolm noticed that there didn't seem to be clicks or small segregated groups. These people were connected and they were a unit.

"Thanks for coming." Byron spoke. His voice was deep and rich. "I know you have heard rumors and I wanted to clear them up. I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner. I need to introduce Tucker, Cash and Malcolm Hawkins."

He towered in front of Tucker and growled at him. Tucker couldn't help but look down and away. He submitted to the Alpha. Cash followed and Malcolm was last as Byron licked his neck. Byron turned to his people.

"They are considered part of this pack. If there is a problem, please come see me. They are vampire hunters and they are very good at their job. Please, feel free to talk to them."

"I will take into consideration all of your fears about vampires, however, this is Veronica, she is a vampire and she is with Trevor. One of ours. We can vote if you wish."

Byron walked up to her and towered over her with a growl. She looked down and almost stepped back. She was afraid of him. He looked up and waited for them to vote soundlessly.

Malcolm had no idea what was happening. He saw people nod. It was a very short nod but Val and Skyler followed. Byron didn't move for a while.

"Very well. Veronica's part of us. Thank you for that. She's very sweet and very shy and I would appreciate any kindness that you show her."

Byron turned to Malcolm. "Now, on to my personal life. I have found my mate. Malcolm." He motioned for Malcolm to stand beside him. "I know you've seen him around and the rumors are true. Malcolm Hawkins is my mate and that isn't changing." He growled. "Now. I have marked him and he belongs to me."

Byron was waiting again. He looked out and saw nods and smiles. Val was one of them. He liked Val and wanted to fight beside him.

"I know this is strange because Malcolm isn't a wolf. He's a vampire hunter. His twin brother, Cash, is dating Emma, whom you all know." Malcolm saw more nods.

"He has already risked his life to protect me and my wolf once. We were attacked by three vampires on the last moon. Malcolm rushed in to protect us and killed two of them on his own...without our help." Byron looked at Malcolm. Malcolm just looked at the ground.

Byron chuckled as he nuzzled Malcolm's neck. "I love him. Feel free to talk to him, he will be around for a long time. Anyone that wants to join us for a run, let's go. There is food at the house. Thanks for coming." Byron was done talking.

He stripped off his clothes and was the wolf without any warning. The large silver wolf laid down and waited for Malcolm. Malcolm laughed and jumped on and held on as the wolf ran through the woods. They could hear him laughing and the wolf howl.

Others changed and took off also. Trevor had no idea how they didn't feel awkward just stripping off clothes but nudity didn't mean anything to them.

They heard Malcolm laughing and more howling. "This is going on all night, huh?" Tucker asked.

"Oh, yeah." Emma answered and smiled. "Anyone care to join me for a run, with our clothes!" She laughed.

Cash smiled. "I was with you until you said with clothes." He laughed as she shoved him. They took off into the woods.

Trevor smiled at Tucker. "Veronica?"

"I could use a run." Veronica smiled and chased Trevor into the woods.
