Malcolm walked into the living room where Byron was. "Hey." They hadn't talked yet. The last week was busy and they didn't even sleep. He missed his mate something fierce and he still pictured that uniform and it was driving him crazy.
Byron walked up to Malcolm and pressed his mouth to Malcolm's and they wrapped together. "I missed you, Malcolm." Byron whispered between wild kisses.
Malcolm sighed and melted into Byron. "Missed you, Byron." He needed this and so did Byron. Malcolm's hands were in Byron's hair as he pulled Byron to him. Byron's hands were under Malcolm's shirt and up his back.
This was where Malcolm wanted to be, where he needed to be. He needed to touch his mate. Byron was holding onto Malcolm like a life saver. He pulled his body closer and was starting to heat up.
They both moaned and Malcolm felt relieved to be in his arms. This was where Byron needed to be as well. Malcolm could feel how relieved Byron was to be holding him. They were both enjoying the very passionate kisses.
"So, what in the hell is this?" Asked a very shocked Aspen. His son was kissing a man and they were wrapped together. It wasn't just a kiss, it was intense. Intimate.
Malcolm slowly let go of the kiss but he didn't break the contact. They needed it right now. He turned. "Dad." He knew his dad would hate him for this but he couldn't change it. He didn't want to.
"What is this?" Aspen was shocked. "Malcolm! Do you have to kiss everyone? I can't believe that you have to find someone wherever you go. Your brother just lost his wife and all you can do is think with your dick! Can't you control yourself just once! He has a mate for crying out loud!"
He figured this wasn't the first time Malcolm had been with a guy. He figured Malcolm had men and women wherever he went but he didn't understand it. He never understood Malcolm and just wanted him to settle down.
"Malcolm is my mate." Byron was forceful and it was a warning to Aspen. He wouldn't put up with someone talking bad about his mate. Malcolm knew this would be bad for his dad.
Aspen stared at the couple. "What?"
"I'm his mate, Dad. I belong to Byron and only him. I'm really sorry. I know this won't make you happy but I love Byron and we will get married one day. You can be okay with it or leave." Malcolm was serious.
Byron wanted to let him know that was hot but this wasn't the time. Later. He was spending three days with Malcolm and he wasn't letting him out of bed.
"I belong to him, actually." Byron corrected. "But we are thinking about marriage." He pulled Malcolm closer. They hadn't actually talked about getting married in detail but it felt right. They needed to pick a date also but there were things to do right now.
Aspen stared at his son some more. "Does your brother know?"
Malcolm knew he was talking about Cash. "Yes. Tucker also. They don't care because they know I'm happy. We have talked about it, yes."
Cash walked in to help out but he didn't want to because he had things to deal with also. This was not going to be a good day for their dad. "I think they are perfect for each other."
Malcolm smiled. "Thanks, Cash." He did appreciate the effort.
Byron glared. "I understand that you don't care for Malcolm but he is a wonderful man and I love him and that isn't going to change."
Aspen looked shocked. "What? Wait? I don't care for Malcolm?"
Malcolm looked at Cash and then to Aspen. "I know that you disapprove of everything that I do and I know that I am a huge disappointment. I know that you hate me but this with Byron isn't going to change."
"I have never been in love and never been with a man until now. I love him, Dad. It's not changing. I belong to Byron." He leaned into Byron and Byron nuzzled him, licked his neck and inhaled. He smelled so great. Malcolm slid his hand to Byron's ass. He squeezed.
Aspen smiled. "Finally!"
"What?" Cash and Malcolm both said at the same time.
"I don't hate you, Malcolm! I hate how you are with women. I hate how you sleep with them all. I always thought you should learn to respect them and not treat them like whores. I always wanted to see you settled down with someone."
"I wanted you to be happy. That's all. You were never happy with any of those women and I assumed men but I never wanted to know. Are you happy?" Aspen just wanted to see his wild son happy.
Malcolm stared at his dad like he was turning multiple colors. "Uh, yes?" He looked at Byron and smiled. "I'm happy. I'm in love with Byron. I don't know how it happened but I don't want to change it. I'm going to marry him."
Byron smiled at Malcolm and kissed him. "I love him too." He pulled Malcolm close and no longer cared that his dad was in the room. This was his living room, Aspen could leave. He was kissing his mate because it was long overdue.
"It is about damn time!" Aspen smiled. He turned to Cash. "I have been waiting for someone to knock him on his ass! I never figured it would be a man but what the hell!" Aspen smiled at Cash. "I should have guessed it would take a strong Alpha to take him down."
"I agree. I mean why judge someone for who they fall in love with." Cash cleared his throat. "You aren't going to like this."
Aspen sighed and sat down. Malcolm and Byron were still one person. "Uh, Emma. She is mine." Nothing changed with Aspen.
"I don't give a damn what you think, I was just being honest! I love her and we are getting married as soon as we are ready. You can go to hell for all I care. I know that she's a vampire but I don't care and if it doesn't bother me, then I don't know why you would be bothered! Malcolm's gay!" Cash took a breath. Malcolm laughed through Byron's kisses.
Aspen started laughing. "Seriously, Cash!" Aspen didn't say anything. Byron and Malcolm were wrapped together and they were laughing. Aspen started laughing also.
Cash looked bewildered. "What in the hell is so funny?"
Malcolm smiled. "We are doing everything wrong but at least we are doing it together!" He kissed Byron.
Aspen shook his head. "I love you boys. Okay. So, I will have a werewolf, an Alpha. The freaking Alpha." He corrected. "and a vampire as in-laws?"
Aspen was awestruck about Byron but he tried to remain calm. He was getting his autograph before he left. Byron McIntyre would be his son-in-law. He almost needed to fan himself.
"Yes." Cash glared.
"Perfect. Has anyone talked to Tucker yet?" Aspen was worried.
"No. He won't open the door." Malcolm sighed. He tried all week. "I haven't seen him since the funeral."
Byron looked serious. "I can get that door open."
Malcolm smiled. "I would pay to see that!" He was ready to drag him to bed.
"Oh, Malcolm is more disgusting than before, I thought I would warn you." Cash smiled.
"Yes, I am!" He slid his hand onto Byron's ass and squeezed. Byron growled and nuzzled his mate.
They all four marched up the stairs to Tucker's room. Byron knocked. "Tucker." He was worried.
"What?"
"Uh, we just wanted to check on you." Byron looked at the door.
"I'm fine." Tucker sounded off.
"This is your father. Open the damn door!" Aspen was scared for his son. It was tough to lose a loved one and they all loved Trish.
They heard shuffling and a voice that wasn't Tucker's. The door flew open. "What in the hell do you want?"
Malcolm smiled. He couldn't help it. Tucker's hair was a mess and his shirt was on backwards. "Shirt's on backwards." He had to point it out. He almost laughed. He knew a whore when he saw one.
Everyone else was surprised. "Shit! I can't do anything. Fine. I was... I'm not alone. Okay. Please don't judge me!" Tucker was feeling guilty. He cleared his throat and Ruth appeared from behind the door. She smiled, shyly.
"Ruth?" Byron was shocked. He laughed. "Well, good for you!" He was thrilled. "Excuse me but I am taking a page from your book." He picked Malcolm up over his shoulder and marched down the hall and up the stairs to his room. They could hear Malcolm laughing.
"Uh, what?" Aspen was shocked again. He was having a rough day.
Tucker sighed. "We were talking. One thing led to another... I love Trish and I miss her and that will never change." He felt like he was betraying her. "I don't want to betray her. I loved her!"
"Tucker. We aren't judging you, Son. We are judging Malcolm but not you!" He winked. "I don't think you are betraying her. Her funeral was beautiful and she would want you to be happy." Aspen sighed. "Who knows what the right thing is."
Ruth smiled. "Well, I should go. I have dinner to finish making." She touched Tucker's arm and he melted. He looked at Cash.
"You whore!" Cash laughed. "Is she..." Cash was curious. "you know. Is she your mate?"
Tucker laughed. "We aren't talking about it." He needed to go to the kitchen. "I'm helping with dinner." He rushed out and down the stairs.
"Well, at least he is out of his room!" Cash smiled. He left his dad to find Emma.
