Never Say Never
Never Say Never
They joined the group that was already swimming. Veronica and Emma were somewhere dark if Byron had to guess. Their men were with them but he was assuming that they would swim later.
Malcolm watched several people greet Byron and he introduced Malcolm as his mate. Malcolm loved the sound of that. He was Byron McIntyre's mate. How did this happen?
Everyone was nice. This was a family oriented place just like Byron said and there were some children running around, laughing and yelling. He didn't count the kids but he noticed that everyone was keeping a watch on all of the kids.
It was nice to hear kids laughing and screaming. He watched them scream and splash in the water. Some were chasing each other around the beach. He smiled. It was perfect here.
It was a very hot afternoon, so it seemed like everyone was there. They missed the whole morning because they were tangled up in their room. Malcolm didn't even know when he began thinking of Byron's room as their room.
An older lady walked up before Byron could warn Malcolm. "Sir."
Byron chuckled. "Don't ever call me that!" He hugged her. "Jill, this is Malcolm."
Jill looked at their hands. Byron was holding this man's hand. "Malcolm. Welcome to the family." Jill was pretty and got prettier when she smiled. She had dark eyes and her dark hair had grey streaks in it and it was pulled back into a ponytail.
She was wearing some kind of wrap thing that women wore. He never understood why they wanted to cover their bodies. "I always figured no one could tame Byron." She winked at the big man.
Byron chuckled. "I don't think he will tame me. He's worse than me!" Malcolm just looked at the ground. "Sorry, Malcolm, this is my mom."
Malcolm's head snapped up and he blushed. "Oh! Hello, it's nice to meet you, Jill." His mom! He was killing Byron later! He had never met a parent before. Never. He wasn't a 'meet the parents' kind of guy.
"It's a pleasure, Malcolm. Sorry to just appear like this and surprise you. I should have waited but this was good timing." Jill smiled. "Us all being here and everything."
"Right. Uh, I..." Malcolm was at a loss as to what he should say.
Jill smiled. "I'm sure, if you are anything like Byron, you are not someone that wanted to meet his parents, huh?" She smiled. Malcolm stared at her.
Byron smiled. "I need to drop by and visit. It's been too long, Mom. Oh, we are going to have to come over for some of your pot roast!"
Jill agreed and smiled. Byron just used the word 'we' and looked at Malcolm. "He just visits for my pot roast!" She laughed. "It was a pleasure to meet you and you both look happy. I'm thrilled for you. Were you surprised?"
Byron laughed. "Hell yes! I never thought I would be mated to a man!" He paused. "Never thought I would find a mate at all."
Jill looked at Malcolm, who was still speechless. He just shook his head. Byron smiled and put an arm around Malcolm. "He was more of a whore than I was so he was really surprised!" Jill laughed hard.
Jill hugged Byron and then Malcolm. "Stop by when you can and bring Malcolm." She looked at Malcolm. "I hope you like pot roast?"
Malcolm nodded because his mouth couldn't form words. She smiled at him. She was very charmed by this man. She turned to her son. "I love you. Stay safe." She kissed Byron's cheek and walked off to a group of women sitting together.
Everyone seemed surprised that Byron had a mate but didn't care that he was male. They welcomed Malcolm without question or judgement. Malcolm felt loved. He dove into the water and floated around with Byron. He felt Byron relax for the first time.
"We are talking about your mom later." Malcolm warned and glared at Byron.
Byron smiled and enjoyed Malcolm's glare. "I know." Malcolm laughed.
Byron was an excellent swimmer and Malcolm was surprised. Probably because he was so big and muscular. Sexy. That man was just sexy and rough. Malcolm had to calm down.
He was turned on and there were people here. He swam around and enjoyed the cool water. He stayed on the bottom for a couple minutes because it was cooler down there. No one freaked out that he drown. He was guessing that they all had the ability to hold their breath for some time.
He watched Byron swim a couple of laps around the lake. He was a great swimmer. Fast. Malcolm watched his muscles working and he wanted to drool a little. He would spend the afternoon watching him swim.
"How are you doing, Malcolm?" Byron smiled as he swam up to him. He knew he was turned on.
Malcolm glared. "I blame you for everything! I'm good." He took a breath. "How are you?"
Byron smiled. It was a very devious smile and whispered in Malcolm's ear. "I am horny as hell and I blame you!" He chuckled.
Malcolm put his mouth on Byron's ear. "There are people here but maybe we can come back later tonight." He whispered.
"The moon is tonight but I love it when you whisper in my ear." Byron whispered back. He was glad that this water wasn't clear because he was holding Malcolm's very hard arousal.
Malcolm bit Byron's ear. "I am starting to hate you!"
Byron chuckled. "Sorry! I have never wanted someone so much and biting my ear just encourages me. I really liked that. Do it again." Byron growled. Malcolm bit Byron's ear a little harder and licked his ear.
"We may have to leave so I can take care of you." Byron squeezed harder and Malcolm moaned in Byron's ear. "I'm going to have to take you in the woods."
"You better make it rough!" Malcolm whispered and nibbled again. Byron growled.
Tucker was standing at the edge of the water with his new rock climbing friends watching his brother and Byron.
They were close and whispering back and forth. Part of him was curious about what was being said but part of him didn't want to know. Malcolm was a perv so it was probably something perverted. He was still curious.
"The Alpha is in love!" Brad stated as he watched the couple.
"Yes." Tucker sighed. "With my brother."
Brad smiled. "He couldn't have picked a better wolf, Tucker. The Alpha will take good care of him forever. He's a good wolf."
"Thanks. I was more worried about Malcolm cheating on the Alpha with a woman." Tucker was honest. That was a real concern. Tucker discovered that no one used Byron's name. All of the wolves called him Alpha. He was guessing it was out of respect. He was a great leader from the sounds of it.
Brad laughed. "Never gonna happen. Malcolm will never want anyone else, even a woman. He belongs to the Alpha. Only the Alpha will turn him on."
"Really? That is kind of a relief." He watched them sneak off into the woods. He really didn't want to know. Malcolm was wild and it was clear that his mate was just as wild. Tucker realized that he was smiling.
