Ironing Things Out: Emma And Cash

Ironing Things Out: Emma And Cash

Emma was still not sure if Cash was going to kill her. It was possible. He would probably be mad that she wasn't honest with

him. She didn't exactly lie but she was definitely not honest.

She walked with him to the den and looked at the fireplace. There wasn't a fire right now but it was a cozy room when there was a fire. This was her favorite room and it was okay to die here. Outside would be better so that there was no mess to clean up.

The morgue would be perfect because there would be no transfer either. She knew he was going to be pissed so she was afraid to turn around.

"Emma. Please. Let's talk for a minute." Cash would beg to talk to her just one last time. He grabbed her arm and spun her around fast and she tripped into his arms. He wrapped around her and kissed her hard. He had no interest in letting go right now. Ever.

Emma was in tears and Cash paused long enough to gently wipe them from her cheek and kissed her again. He couldn't help himself. Emma finally melted into Cash and sighed. He slowed the kisses down, he let his lips linger on hers and took his time.

He would kiss her all night if she let him. Just do this all night. Hold her and kiss her here in this room. Emma's hands were in his hair and they mashed together as one person. She had no interest in moving away right now. He was the best kisser.

She felt like the only woman on the planet and all he had to do all day was finish one kiss and begin another. If he drew his sword and killed her, it would be the most romantic death in the history of the world. She was okay with him killing her.

Cash put his hands on the small of her back and pulled her closer. He sighed. There was someone at the door clearing their throat. Malcolm.

"Go away." Cash growled. What could he possibly want right now?

"Well, we are waiting. I said I would send a search party in fifteen minutes. It's been twenty. We were worried." Malcolm smiled. He figured they would be fighting, not kissing.

"Right. I couldn't let Malcolm come alone. I was afraid for his safety and I'm a little confused right now." Bryon was standing by Malcolm watching the couple being one person in the den. "Did you guys work stuff out?"

"No." Cash smiled at Emma. He still hadn't released her and hadn't really looked at the guys in the doorway. "We haven't really talked yet."

Emma laughed and covered her mouth. They hadn't talked. Cash jerked her to him and kissed her for twenty minutes. They hadn't said much of anything. Cash gave in and laughed with her. He took her face in his hands and kissed her again and then smiled. She was perfect for him.

"You were kissing for twenty minutes?" Malcolm stared at his brother who was laughing. He looked at Byron. He was happy to get to stand beside Byron. He was just a little shorter than the Alpha and he was ready to put his hand on Byron's ass. He took a breath to calm himself.

"Man. You guys okay then? I'm going. I have things to do besides be a couples counselor. Emma. One month. Take a break...vacation somewhere. I mean it. Thirty days and don't make me have to kill you." Byron growled. Emma turned to look at him. "I mean this."

"Sir. I know. Thirty days. I got it." Emma nodded.

"Cash, see that she does." Byron winked and walked out of the house.

"It was a pleasure to meet you, Malcolm. I expect we will be seeing each other soon. I've heard great things." He took Malcolm's hand to shake it and held it instead. He didn't mean to but holding Malcolm's hand felt fantastic.

Malcolm was a little surprised that Byron had heard of him. He was shocked that Byron was holding his hand and then shocked because holding his hand felt so nice. He wrapped his hand around Byron's. He couldn't stop himself.

Byron looked in Malcolm's eyes and looked at their hands. He watched them. He never held a man's hand before but he liked this.

"I'm looking forward to our next meeting, Sir. It was an honor to meet you. Don't worry about them. I will keep them in line...I will try!" Malcolm cleared his throat to keep from melting.

Byron nodded and slowly released Malcolm's hand. He growled a little on accident. He had to get control of his wolf. The wolf was ready to drag Malcolm to his truck and take him home. Byron cleared his throat and smiled all the way to his truck. He can't just take someone! What was wrong with him? He pondered that all the way home.

Malcolm watched Byron pull away.

"You okay there?" Trevor was pouring milk as he watched Malcolm stare out the opened door.

"What?" Malcolm turned around. He wasn't sure if he was okay because he had no idea how long he was standing there. "I may have a man crush on Byron!" He smiled. He could still feel Byron's hand in his.

"We all do." Trevor laughed. "He's tough and Emma really has to obey him. Where is she?" He was getting nervous.

Malcolm smiled. "She's safe. Come on." He walked with Trevor to the den where the couple was still kissing. They never really stopped.

Trevor just stared and drank his milk. He had stuff to do. He left them to go to work on something and he had to check on Veronica in a couple of hours. He smiled as he thought of Veronica. Even her name made him smile.
