Malcolm was trying to find his shirt. "Do you think that Tucker will hate me?" He was looking under the bed.

"No. I doubt it." Byron fixed his shirt. "I'm starving! How long have we in here?" He picked up his phone. It was almost noon. He chuckled. "Long time. I'm proud."

"You should be. What happened to my shirt?" Malcolm stood up. Byron pulled him close.

"You don't need one. Look at you!" Byron was going to drool.

"Thanks. I'm pretty good looking!" Malcolm smiled and touched Byron's chest. "Don't you have stuff to do today? What do you do here anyway?"

"I'm a cop most of the time but I'm searching for York at the moment but Val and Adam are out searching. They haven't found anything yet." Byron just smiled.

"Okay, the cop thing is hot and we have to come back to that later. How do you have any information? Did they call?" Malcolm was confused and felt like he was missing something. The cop thing was cool. Sexy. He was trying to picture Byron in uniform. He may have to see that.

"I can hear them. I know where they are and what they see. They are running through the woods right now and will be heading back pretty soon. I will know if they get into trouble or if they find anyone. So far, nothing." Byron smiled.

"Oh. I have nothing to say to that!" Malcolm smiled bigger. "That is awesome!"

"I know. It's a wolf bond. I can make one with you if you want. We will always be connected and I can always find you." Byron wasn't sure Malcolm would want that.

Malcolm got goosebumps. "I have more questions about that! We would be more connected? I can already feel you inside me."

Byron smiled. "Yes. That's an Alpha thing but this would be more intense. More. This would be a mate thing. You will know where I am and I will be able to find you. It's a connection of sorts. I will bite you until you give me everything."

"More dominant crap."

"Yes. I know you like that, Malcolm." Byron smirked.

"Damn right I do, Byron. You are so hot and I love it when you take charge which really surprised me. I... was always in charge but with you... I want you to be in charge. Bossy bastard!" He smiled as he teased his man.

"Right. I'm sorry about the bossy, dominant Alpha attitude. It's my nature." Byron chuckled.

"I know. I enjoy being bossed around by you. I still have the urge to boss you around." Malcolm winked.

Byron smiled an evil smile. "I might allow that. Maybe later. Tucker's hoping to yell at us. I think. He said talk but I think yelling will happen. I also need to talk to my Beta. He's my second, Skyler. You have to meet him also. Might as well get this all done at the same time."

"Sounds like torture but I still need my shirt!" Malcolm walked over and took a fresh shirt. He couldn't find his shirt that he was wearing. "So, police uniform?" Malcolm watched Byron.

Byron laughed and pulled Malcolm to his closet and showed him his uniform. He had three hanging up. Malcolm almost drooled. "Fucking hot!" He was ready to take Byron in the closet.

"I know! We have to talk to people but later, I am fucking you!" Byron had to leave the room before he took Malcolm against the closet wall. Malcolm pulled Byron from the closet and into the hall.

They stepped out of the room and found Malcolm's shirt on the floor in the hall. Malcolm laughed. Good to know that hadn't changed.

Byron picked it up. "Oops!" He tossed it in the room.

Malcolm followed Byron down the stairs and into the office. A tall man, with blonde hair with streaks of dark brown in it and brown eyes to match, was standing there.

"Skyler, Malcolm." Byron sat down. "Sit, please."

Skyler looked at Malcolm and turned back to Byron. "Sir?" He hadn't moved.

"He's my mate, Skyler." Byron wasn't waiting.

"Malcolm, welcome to the pack. We can introduce him later. If you wish, Sir." Skyler was very polite. He made no move to touch Malcolm or shake his hand.

"I think that would be great."

"It's about time, Byron, and congratulations." Skyler smiled. He was a pretty man. Malcolm couldn't help the thought but he didn't want Skyler. He was only interested in Byron.

Byron smiled. "Thanks and I am sorry for springing this on you. I know this is a surprise."

"I agree. Hell, I'm still in shock!" Malcolm smiled. He wasn't sure he was supposed to talk.

Skyler smiled. "Really?" He turned and Malcolm saw a mark on his neck. It was Byron's mark. It was healed but scared. Skylar wasn't hiding it either. He knew that was what Byron was talking about.

"Yes! I have never been with a man! I never thought about it. Now, that is all I'm thinking about!" Malcolm covered his face. "Sorry!"

Byron chuckled. "No need for that, Malcolm. Skyler is a good friend and I trust him. You're fine to be yourself here." He thought Malcolm was hilarious.

Skyler smiled. "I haven't found my mate yet."

"Did you ask Brooke out?" Byron was curious.

"No! I don't have the nerve." Skyler looked down. "I'm not good with women."

"Oh, do you guys date around also?" Malcolm cleared his throat. "I was just... I mean... I didn't know if you waited to find your mate or if you dated around. I have no idea!" He didn't know a lot about how things worked. He knew Byron dated around but he didn't know about the werewolves. Were there different rules for wolves and the alpha?

He had no idea if they dated or what they did. His information was just about the battles that the Alpha fought and then he began to wonder how old Byron was, that thought just hit him.

"We date around." Byron smiled.

"Oh, good. What is Brooke like?" Malcolm smiled. He may be done with women but he could help Skyler.

Skyer looked at Byron and he nodded. "Trust me, Malcolm can help you." He smiled at his mate. Malcolm smiled back at Byron.

He spent the next hour giving Skyler advice on how to ask Brooke out. This was a detour from the plan but what the hell. Tucker was outside the door and knocked as they finished with Malcolm's class.

"Yes. Come in, Tucker." Byron smiled.

Tucker walked in and looked at Byron. "I need to know what's going on?" He talked to Cash and Emma. He was worried.

"I think I need to go. We'll talk later, Sir." Skyler was standing beside Tucker. He was waiting for permission to leave.

"Skyler, good luck. Talk to me later and listen to that man. He knows what he's talking about." He was proud of his mate. Malcolm smiled and nodded.

Skyler smiled at Malcolm. "Thanks for the advice, Malcolm."

"Let me know what happens and good luck." Malcolm liked Skyler. He was cool. Kinda shy but cool. He would be tough in a fight though.

Skyler looked at Tucker and went back to Malcolm. "Good luck to you." He was out the door.

Tucker waited until the door closed. "What in the hell is going on here?"

Malcolm was worried and stood up in front of Byron as if to shield him. Byron wasn't going to take being yelled at in his office lightly. Malcolm felt a growl.

"Easy. I have this, Byron." He looked at his mate and took a breath at the same time as Byron did. He turned to Tucker. "Byron is my mate. Well, I am his mate. I belong to him and that won't change no matter how much you don't like it. I love him." Malcolm would fight to the death about this.

Tucker was shocked. "What? Did you just say you loved Byron?" He was never shocked at the things that Malcolm did. This was the exception.

"Yes. I would fight to the death to protect him if I have to, Tucker. I really don't want to kill you." Malcolm would for his mate.

Byron was on his feet and walked to Malcolm. "Easy, Malcolm. I don't think we have to kill Tucker!" He was turned on. Malcolm was very protective and dominant right now and he found that very sexy.

"Sorry!" Malcolm took a breath. "Sorry, Tucker. I didn't mean to threaten you. Yes, Byron's my mate and that won't change. I don't know any more than that but you can ask Byron some questions." Malcolm sat down and took a breath.

"Uh, okay?" Tucker never saw his brother react like that. He was ready to attack. "So, you're not playing, are you?"

"Nope. Sorry, Tucker." Malcolm sighed. "This with Byron is permanent and I have no idea what I'm doing!"

Byron chuckled. "Me either. I have never had a serious relationship either. We are new at this, Tucker. We talked last night and took our relationship to the next level, so to speak."

"But you just met!" Tucker was still shocked. "I was just making sure that you weren't playing. I knew that Byron wouldn't put up with your shit!" He looked at Byron's desk. "He goes through women faster than he goes through underwear."

Malcolm looked at Byron. "Tucker's the type that waited two years to ask his wife to marry him and they waited to have sex until after they got married, which I can totally respect." He turned to his brother. "We didn't go that way, Tucker." Byron chuckled and Malcolm shook his head.

"Did you guys...?" He couldn't finish the sentence.

"You are so nosey!" Malcolm complained. "I thought you were rock climbing or something. Don't you have better things to do?"

Tucker sighed. "Yes I do! Are you okay then?" He was worried about his brother.

Malcolm smiled. "I'm fantastic. I am. I was a lot weirded out but Byron and I talked and worked some stuff out. I know we still have things to talk about and a lot of work to do. Neither of us knows what we are doing, just so you know. We weren't looking for a relationship but we are in one now. I love him and I don't plan on leaving his side, Tucker."

Tucker looked at Byron and back at Malcolm. "You are in love?" Malcolm nodded. Tucker let it go for now because Malcolm had to be freaking out.

"We're swimming later. Are you guys joining us?" He found it curious that Malcolm didn't want to talk about being with Byron and describing their extracurricular activities in detail.

Tucker heard all the details about his dates. Malcolm always described everything and Tucker always felt like he was there which always entertained him. This was different with Byron. He actually felt relieved.

"Yes. I could use a swim!" Byron didn't ask his mate.

"I still need a suit."

"Let's go find you something. I got the keys. Let's go." Byron was up and out the door. Malcolm followed him to the truck. Byron held his door as Malcolm slid in and Byron pulled his mate over to him and he started the truck. Malcolm didn't know what to say so they were silent on the way to the store.

Tucker was left in the office alone and neither guy even noticed. Tucker left to jump off a cliff with a guy named Brad.
