Date Night With The Werewolf
Date Night With The Werewolf
Malcolm wasn't tired at the full moon rising. The wolves gathered for the change and ran as a group. Malcolm wanted to run with Byron but Byron was afraid to hurt him so he was going to wait for his mate until morning.
Malcolm was going to work out for a while. He needed some time in the gym. Malcolm didn't think that what they were doing in the bedroom or the woods counted as a real workout, although it should.
"Malcolm, I will find you in the morning." Byron kissed him and ran into the woods to change. Malcolm was disappointed because he wanted to watch.
Malcolm was off to the gym which was two buildings across from Byron's house. Malcolm loved the convenience.
He took his sword from his bag that he left in Byron's truck to practice with, thought for a second and went back for the whole bag. He had other weapons to practice with in there.
Malcolm was in the corner with the punching bag and admiring the gym. He removed his shirt because he was starting to sweat. This place was perfect and he never wanted to leave. He needed this workout. He was thinking about calling Cash just to have someone to beat up.
He spent his quiet time thinking about Byron and all of the events that had taken place since they met. He was into men? Well, he was into one man. He was in love with one man.
He couldn't believe he was having sex with a man. He had no idea this would happen. Last he knew he loved women and always enjoyed sex with them and now the thought of touching a woman made him cringe. Not that they were gross but they weren't Byron.
It was two or three in the morning when Malcolm felt it. Adrenaline. Excitement, not fear. Something was happening with Byron. Malcolm grabbed his sword and was out the door at a sprint.
He rushed through the woods and felt the vampire. Three of them. He was pissed when he found them attacking Byron. The giant silver wolf had one in his teeth shaking it and one in his giant hand.
Malcolm jumped over Byron's wolf and took the head from the vampire in the wolf's hand and landed in front of the last one, he looked like he was about to attack. He punched it and knocked it to the ground. Malcolm had it at sword point.
"What are you doing here!?" Malcolm yelled.
"A hunter? I didn't know that hunters were here?!" The vampire looked scared.
"What do you want here? And three against one is unfair!" Malcolm was ready to kill this vampire and felt the wolf behind him. His mate. These three vampires were big and muscular. Someone sent strong vampires for this task, kill the Alpha.
"We were sent to take out the Alpha!"
"Who sent you, dumbass!" Malcolm was ready to check on his mate. He was done talking to this creep. "York?"
The vampire nodded. "Yes."
"Why?" Malcolm felt Byron's wolf growl.
"He didn't tell us. He just gave us instructions. This pack is a danger to him and his plans and he takes out those enemies. I don't know. None of us have information. York keeps everything a secret. I'm not sure."
He would tell them if he knew because that Wolf was huge and scary. Ten vampires couldn't take him and this was a hunter. He had never seen a hunter up close, it sucked.
"Maybe you know where he is." Malcolm was asking this one last question.
The vampire laughed. "Of course not. He called and we video chatted. We have no idea because of the last attack. He is held up somewhere. I don't know."
Malcolm glared. "And if you did know?"
The vampire looked at the wolf and back to the hunter. "I would tell you. I'm dead anyway. If I fail, he will kill me."
Malcolm didn't wait. He plunged the sword into the vampire all the way without warning. He was dust after Malcolm took his head without a thought.
Malcolm took a breath and turned around. "Don't look at me like that." He saw that the wolf was upset that he was out there. The Alpha in any capacity wasn't happy.
Malcolm looked at the big wolf, if wolf is what you call it. He wasn't a cuddly wolf from movies and nothing like a wild wolf.
This was a big beast. His fur was silver and his eyes were yellow and glowing like no animal that Malcolm had seen. Byron's eyes glowed like that. He towered over Malcolm, maybe ten feet tall in height. Tall.
If he didn't know this was Byron, he would be freaked out. Byron's legs were long and his feet weren't paws. They were weird leather hands with long claws. This could be an alien. A wolf from Mars or something. Malcolm cleared his throat to settle himself and his stupid thoughts of Mars wolves.
"I was working out when I felt that you were in trouble then I sensed the vampires. This is all your fault. Are you okay?" Malcolm sighed when the wolf nodded.
"Find me in the morning and yell at me then." He touched the wolf's nose and took a breath. "Oh!" He turned and searched the ashes and found the phone.
"I can have Tucker or Trevor hack this and we may have York." Malcolm looked worried. "Find me when you're done out here or have Byron find me. I don't know how this works." He touched the wolf again because he loved the contact. Even the wolf felt great to touch. "I hope you're not mad."
The giant alien wolf nodded and licked Malcolm from his navel to his neck. "Ah! Come on! You had to lick me just because I'm not wearing a shirt!" He wiped his chest. "Really?" He heard the wolf chuckle and licked him again. "I'm glad you're not mad."
Malcolm looked at the wolf and smiled as he touched his nose. He put his forehead on the wolf's and sighed. "Find me." His voice was deep and husky. He kissed the wolf's forehead. He walked back to the gym to work out.
