(Lucy's view)

She drove her SUV three miles out of town to a rundown abandoned city called Alequate. She drove down until she got to the far end of the city where a big building made of steel and glass sat. Two security guards were waiting for her as she pulled up, red lights were flashing and she could hear sirens going off when she stepped out onto the dirt. She put on her badge and ran to the steps

"What's going on?" She demanded as she got closer

Security 1: Well Mrs. Steele, it seems that a Subject went crazy."

"What do you mean by crazy?" She asked as they walked through the doors. She turned off the sirens and surveyed the mess, guards were running around trying to grab some of the Subjects, broken gurneys laid sprawled, there were holes in the walls and lights blinked on and off.

Security 2: "Well as you can see ma'am." He waved his hand over the area, it was at that moment that anAfrican American man came out of the shadows and the smoke, his right temple bleeding

"Miles, come here, let me help." He came over and she put her hand over his temple her eyes glowed, the blood stopped and the wound healed

"Thank you ma'am." He replied bowing his head.

"What exactly happened?"

"Well, we took SUBJECT 0900 out so that we could get some of his skin and put it in your special vile. One of the doctors must not have tied him down enough and he got loose."

"What are his powers?"

"Ah well let me get his chart." They walked over to a computer and he typed in the number. A picture popped up of a man with black hair and one blue eye and one brown eye. To the right of the picture listed his name, age, sex, height and weight. On the bottom the description of his powers Miles read off the bottom part

"Invisibility and wave frequency alteration meaning he can alter the frequency of things and basically bring any structure or even people down." By now Lucy was pacing around

"Okay okay, did he set any others free?

"Yes, at least three of them."

"Do you know who?"

"No. Some guards are trying to catch them." All the sudden the building started shaking and a loud voice echoed through the building

"You'll never stop me or find me you murderous witch!"

"Who said that?" Erie laughter filled her ears, she couldn't stand the noise. Light surrounded her, when it vanished, she was hovering in the air supported by brown wings, she had on a black leather bodysuit, Red spiky boots with a black belt around her waist, her hair had gone from raven to a dark green she flew up into the air her eyes glowing and her hands ready to strike. All the guards vanished and went into hiding. She looked down and saw three SUBJECTS surrounding her, a girl with periwinkle hair flowing like a river, a boy with fiery red hair changing between animals and another girl, she had white skin and chocolate brown hair, her eyes were white. The erie laugh sounded again this time much closer

"Are you afraid of me, Witch?

"I'm not scared of you." She hissed out. Something smacked Lucy in the face and she toppled backward, a cloud of mist appeared and slowly a body appeared and dropped to the ground. Lucy immediately recognized the boy, he had hair white as snow and black eyes. He had looked normal until she had put the gene in. The teenagers looked up at her and smiled then the girl with Periwinkle hair shot vines up and wrapped them around Lucy's wings. She struggled against the vines,

"Uhhh, I will break free and once I do, you will pay! Finally breaking free, she flew away from them her wings echoing amongst the panic

"Follow her! She heard the thumping of feet and looked down and saw them chasing her. She had to get somewhere where they wouldn't be able to see her, somewhere dark. The dungeons! She laughed to herself, she would be able to take them out and they wouldn't know what hit them. She continued to fly until she got ahead of them and she dropped down and folded her wings making sure to take long enough for them to see her. She ducked inside as they got closer and folded herself into a corner of the rafters. The door flew open and she watched them walk in

Girl with periwinkle hair "Where is she?"

Man with black eyes "I don't know, but we'll find her." The girl with white eyes touched the floor, Ice immediately started creeping on the floor. The boy with fiery hair became a lightning bug, to light up the room.

"Where is she?

I don't know." The vine girl responds

Lucy speaks "Up here"

"Crap, we forgot about her wings." The lightning bug speaks as he gives off a small light but not enough to accurately see. He switches back to human,

"Havoc, can't you shift into something with more light? The boy with black eyes speak

"I don't know Kovais"

"You don't know?" He lifts an arm and sends the boy flying, Havoc hits the wall crashing to the floor dazed. Can't you turn into something that can see in the dark?"

"Y-yes." Havoc replies

The ice girl speaks "Kovais, leave him alone."

"Aquilo, don't defend him."

The nature girl says "I thought we were all together on this."

"Yeah, I thought you, Havoc, Brier and me we're a team." Aquilo speaks. Kovais throws his hands down and the room starts to tremor in a booming voice

"ENOUGH!" His voice echos. Then Lucy flies above them her wings silently flapping

"My my it seems to me you are having a bit of trouble, Kovais." A chuckle resonates from her lips.

"Where are you witch come down and fight us like a real person would." She slowly flies down and lands a few feet from them, she lifts her hands and the lights dimly turn on, enough light to see but not enough for them to fully be able to see.

"There she is!" Brier speaks. She shoots vines but Lucy dodges them. She flies up into the dark, in doing that they scatter around the room looking for her. Havoc shifts to a wolf, his prime animal, he looks around and sees her lurking in the shadows

"I found her!" He says in a deep husky voice,he bounds forward snarling, but Lucy is too quick and shoots fire into the path way he tries screeching to a halt, but he's not fast enough, he cries out when the hot flames touch his fur. He gets up and tries again but is stopped over and over finally, he is done, the pain and heat are too much. He returns back to himself lying naked in the smoke and flames. The heat dissolves the ice making the room watery. Aquilo makes her way to Havoc and ices the fire. She pulls his lifeless body to the corner, he has burns on his skin. He lifts his head

"Say goodbye to everyone for me." His head klunks back to the ground motionless. Aquilo makes a blanket out of ice and lays it over him as she watches the light fade from his eyes. Angry she yells out and shoots icicles from her hands, propelling herself upward, she was stopped by Lucy's wings. She flies back to the ground, she closes her eyes in anticipation of hitting the ground, just as she is about to hit she lands on something soft, Brier's vines. She looks over at Brier and nods her thanks. Brier is making her way up the wall, vines and moss are starting to cover the wall. No one has seen Kovias for a while as he sits invisible in the corner of the room waiting for the perfect time to hit. Brier has finally made her way to the top of the wall; she throws vines to the ceiling and begins flying across the ceiling on vines. She can hear Lucy behind her, she grows a poisonous plant and throws it at Lucy. It hits her and dazes her Lucy falls to the ground. Brier drops down, and starts to make her way towards her Aquilo meets her in the middle. They stop a few feet away, she is motionless, they rush to the door but it's locked. Kovais comes out of the shadows and changes the frequency of it. It opens and they rush out into the light, bruised and scratched they make their way through the rubble. Guards shake in fear as they walk past them. Kovais kills them on the spot, he takes no pity for them, they chose their side, they knew what they were doing was wrong and yet they still do it.

Finally when they arrive at the entrance they look out into the sun and walk out, finally free they take off running towards the gate, then Aquilo remembers that Havoc wanted her to say goodbye to his brothers and sisters. She turns around

"Where are you going? Kovais shouts as she runs back to the building

"I have to go back, Havoc told me to say goodbye."

"Alright just be careful, when you're in there release one of the shifters, we might need another one someday."

"Okay." Aquilo yells over her shoulder as her bare feet carry her back into the building. Moments later she comes back out riding a wolf, with a scar across right eye, he snarls in a deep voice deeper than Havoc,

"Let's go." They fly through the gates into the abandoned city, not knowing where to go, just anywhere where they will be free and far enough from the lady with the raven colored hair and to find a woman with honey colored hair as they would need her help later on.

Someday they will return to free the others. They reach a town, they realize that they are wearing hospital gowns and people are staring. Kovais sneaks into a store and steals clothes for all of them. Then they walk on and on. Finally they reach a dirt road that is a dead end. They can see some type of building behind some bushes, they walk through them to find a warehouse. Opening the door, they see it is filled with boxes. They open the boxes inside is food, one has a stove, yet another has a fridge. There are abandoned old beds in a corner. It is here that they stay, resting and training for the day when they will be able to get back at the woman who tore them away from their families and who tortured them for several years.
