Being Asked Out
The next morning, I woke up early, put on my robe and went to the kitchen.
No one is awake yet so I decided to surprise the guys with breakfast.
Something different from what we ate or made.
I made a special dish I always loved to make.
Waffles and fried chicken drizzled in honey.
As I cooked, I turned on the radio.
A cute little song I knew came on, so I started singing to the woman's part.
One again, the beautiful Jane Russell. Alongside singer Roy Rogers and comedian Bob Hope.

Lyrics-
East is east and west is west
And the wrong one I have chose
Let's go where they keep on wearin'
Those frills and flowers and buttons and bows
Rings and things and buttons and bows.
Don't bury me in this prairie
Take me where the cement grows
Let's move down to some big town
Where they love a gal by the cut o' her clothes
And you'll stand out, in buttons and bows.
I'll love you in buckskin
Or skirts that you've homespun
But I'll love ya' longer, stronger
Where yer friends don't tote a gun
My bones denounce the buckboard bounce
And the cactus hurts my toes
Let's vamoose where gals keep a-usin'
Those silks and satins and linen that shows
And I'm all yours in buttons and bows.
Gimme eastern trimmin' where women are women
In high silk hose and peek-a-boo clothes
And French perfume that rocks the room
And I'm all yours in buttons and bows.
Buttons and bows, buttons and bows
My singing woke up the boys, but they didn't mind.
Hearing my voice is something they love to wake up to in the morning.
They come to the kitchen.
They stayed quiet because they didn't want me to stop.
They just smiled and listened.
When I finished the song, I heard clapping.
I quickly turned around.
"Oh good morning." I said.
"Morning, love. Feels good to wake up to your pretty voice this morning." John said.
I smiled.
"I was hoping to surprise you guys with breakfast. Well, the plan was to surprise you when the food was finished." I said.
"If it's any consolation, we still are surprised. Right, lads?" Ringo said.
They all nodded.
"Oh okay." I said.
I gave them each a plate of waffles and fried chicken then drizzled it with honey.
"Enjoy." I said.
The boys started grabbing the food.
Paul, being vegan, I just gave him the waffles and syrup. No chicken.
It smelled so good, they couldn't help themselves.
I heard them moaning and groaning with delight.
It was obvious they loved my food.
"You are an excellent cook." George said.
"Thank you." I said.
While the boys were eating, I went to my room to get dressed.
I put on something cute, tied my hair in two braids, and looked in the mirror.
I stepped out of my room, went back to the kitchen, and saw the boys cleaning up.
"Oh I could have cleaned that up for you guys." I said.
"Oh no. We don't want those pretty hands getting dirty." John said.
I blushed.
"Angel, I was wondering, would you care to go out tonight with me?" Paul asked.
"I was going to ask her the same thing." Ringo said.
"I was too." George said.
"Well, step aside. I'm asking her out." John said.
"I could still go out with all of you." I said.
"But whose first?" Paul asked.
I thought for a minute.
"I have an idea. You all surround me, I'll close my eyes, spin around and whoever I am facing, I will go out with in that order. Sound fair?" I asked.
They looked at each other.
Sounded fair to them.
So, they surrounded me, I closed my eyes and spun around.
