(Sonic's P.O.V.)

So here I am face to face with the one and only Gaia Witch. I think I should back up a bit and explain how I got here and how I managed to anger one of the most powerful people in the world...

*A couple minutes ago*

"Yo Sonic!" "Hey, Knuckles! What's up?" I enter the park where my friend/rival Knuckles was waiting. Tails suddenly called us up and asked to meet here but I don't see him anywhere. "Tails not here yet?" "He contacted my communicator thingamajig telling me he was going to be late. Since we'll be waiting a bit, how about a bet? I bet you can't get 100 girls' numbers in under 10 minutes." Now I know what you're thinking, "Sonic, that's a terrible idea" and you'd be right. But in my foolishness I responded with "Ok, this'll be easy." And so my flirting spree began. I was about 10 numbers into the bet when I saw a gothic-looking crow girl in a blue dress with strange purple polka dots. It almost had an eerie glow to it but I dismissed it. I turned on the charm, flirted a bit then tried to ask for her number. "Oh, but you seem to have plenty of numbers hidden in your quills." The gothic crow's eyes glow with that same purple color that's dotted all over her dress. It was then I realized I picked a bad day to be a player. Which leads us back to now with me standing before a very angry crow girl who turned out to be the Gaia Witch. "Sonic the Hedgehog, I curse thee! I curse thee to transform into a beast befitting a heart thief such as yourself! On the night of the first full moon, you shall be transformed and your form shall not be changed until a heart is given and a heart is returned. You have until your 18th year to find someone to break your curse. This Gaia rose shall act as your hourglass. I hope you learn your lesson." And with those words spoken, I'm surrounded in a purple smoke which absorbs into my body. Tossed at my feet is a strange glowing purple and blue rose. I should've said no.
