I swung my legs over the side of my bed, standing up and stretching out my legs and arms.

My wolf ears twitched as I yawned and my tail waved side to side as I moved.

I am a human but, unlike Red, I can't hide what I am. In my human form, I still have wolf ears and a tail. My advantage is that I can control my wolf, unless it's THAT hungry. I normally just eat animals when I'm a wolf. I don't really like killing people...

"Oh, Tiki! You're awake!" My Gran came in with my breakfast.

She looked over to me and her eyebrows furrowed in concern. I didn't know what she was doing that for so I read her mind, 'She looks a little pale,' she caught my gaze and smirked slightly, 'Get your snout out of my thoughts!'

I chuckled in response at her little joke. Me, her and Red always do this. We mock each other and irritate one another.

At one point, me and Red spilt 2mugs of hot coffee on Gran when she was sleeping, bad idea... She got burned and had to go to hospital because the burns were so bad, that she was physically bleeding... Yup, we're the best granddaughters out there!

Not to mention the time she hit me with a pan she had at Granny's Diner. Just thinking about the ringing it left in my head makes me shiver.

Gran walked up to me, putting the back of her hand on my forehead and sighing, "You're very clammy and you feel very cold. I don't think you should go to school today."

I wanted to jump for joy that I wasn't going to school, but that would make it seem like I'm faking.

I stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. What was I supposed to say? "Sure, I'm fine with staying home!" And jump into my bed? Nope. Not while Granny's here, anyway...

"Come on, let's get you back into bed." She lead me over to my bed with her arm wrapped around my back and sat me on my bed, my back leaning on the headboard.

She walked over and placed my food on my lap, placing a kiss on my forehead. I smiled softly in return, my eyes drooping from exhaustion. I didn't really sleep, I was dreaming about that weird forest place instead...

She left my room and I slowly ate my food, thinking about the dream and what it could possibly be about...
