Present Day

Andy squinted at the tiny object he had just unearthed. "Hey Doc!" He shouted, "Come take a look at this!"

The aging archeologist tottered over, his white hair in stark contrast against the bronze of his sun weathered skin. "What do you have?" He asked as he crouched down beside Andy.

Andy pointed to the small three foot by three foot site he had been given to excavate. "I found something unusual. You know how we have been finding armor and bits of pottery?"

The old man made a non committal humming noise as he took a closer look.

Andy continued, "This appears to be a wagon, see the bit of wooden wheel here?" That indicates the force here was well provisioned, something that is unheard of during this time period."

"That is interesting!" Doc replied as he brushed a bit of rich dark soil from the aged wood."

"That isn't even the best part!"Andy exclaimed. "Look here," he gently moved a bit of soil revealing a tiny golden circlet. "What does this look like to you?"

Doc whistled, "Its jewelry "

Andy snorted. "But look at how small it is!" He stuck his pointer finger into the tiny bit of burnished metal. "Its a bracelet, like for a baby!"

Doc's eyes widened with surprise as he reached for a pair of gloves at his belt. "Gently now." He said to himself as he pulled the tiny bracelet from the earth. "Look at the detail!" He breathed. "My God this is a discovery! Well done my boy!"
