(9:05am) Toni Harper's Apartment

*Doorbell* She walks up to the door with her grey sleeping sweats; opens>>>>>>it's Detective Chen in his uniform. (smiles)

"Sam" 

"Morning pretty lady"

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to stop by and say good morning to you"

"Your so sweet. But that's not the only reason why you stop by"

"May I come in?" he asked

"Sure" she let him in. He walks in taking off his hat.

He noticed the boxes and containers on the walls of the apartment. Sofa is wrapped along with her office stuff.

"Your moving? How could you didn't tell me?"

"I wanted to tell you but time got in the way. I got a job in Metropolis. At the Metropolis Times"

"That's awesome Toni. Congratulations"

"Thanks"

"So, your in your uniform for the Mayor's Funeral. You look handsome in it"

"Why thank you"

She nodded. They kept their eyes on each other. *silence* in the room.

He looks at his watch, "I got less than an hour to spare"

"Then...what do you want to do in your spare hour?"

Sam drop his hat and walks over to Toni and kisses her.

 The kiss got heated as they started taking each other's clothes off. Headed into her bedroom.

2 Hours Later....

Inside the Gotham Cathedral....beautiful church. The Mayor's white casket in the middle with his picture and reef on the each side. The Memorial service is about to BEGIN

Everyone is filling up in the sanctuary. Bruce Wayne, Alfred, and Rose are sitting in the front on the left side.

Jill Anderson is sitting on the right side on the first pew. Next to her is Steve York.

Harvey Dent, Selena, and Angela are walks down the isle and sat behind them.The former D.A. and his fiance hold hands

Bruce glance and stares at Selena. 

Selena glance right at Bruce.

Harvey looks at her; she looks straight ahead. Dent glance at Bruce with a 'Killer' look.

He squeezes her hand. She let out a soft sigh. Harvey leans in Selena's ear and says softly, "Behave yourself or I will punish you again when we get home. Do you understand?"

She nodded. "Look at me" he ordered. Selena looks at him. He leans forward and kisses her. Tongue and all. Bruce looks forward with anger. Balding his fists.

The engaged couple unlock lips. Harvey smiles. "That's my girl"

Selena feels so embarrassed. Why would he kiss her like that at a funeral.

Steve shakes his head. Jill heard how Harvey talk to his fiance. She's thinking....maybe Steve was right. Harvey probably kill my brother. Sick individual.

Jim Gordon is in the back pew along with Tim Drake.

Tim says (softly), "It's ironic that Harvey Dent is here"

"Yeah. It is. Kid, just in case things get out of hand, you know how to scrap right?" Jim asked

 "Absolutely. I'm a circus performer and a black belt"

"That's good enough for me"

The Pastor comes out and starts the ceremony. The Choir started off with AVA MARIA. Then they did a Jewish candle tribute since the Mayor was Jewish.

Then some people he knew including his sister spoke. The Pastor does the E logy and the service is fin to end. Everyone stands up so that the pastor can pray.

"Bow your heads everyone" he said

Everyone bow their heads and close their eyes. Besides Bruce. He noticed someone is starring at him from his right side up on the balcony.

A figure of a man with his hair slanted back but you can't see his face.

"Amen" the Pastor said

"Amen" the crowd

"Bruce, Bruce. What is it?" Alfred asked

Bruce looks right at Alfred, "Do you see him?"

"See who?"

Bruce looks back on the balcony and the male figure is GONE

He quickly moves out of the pew and BUMPS! into Harvey. Dent shoves Bruce down on the floor! "Watch it Wayne!"

Bruce looks at Selena. Selena didn't even look at him

Alfred shoves Harvey, "Hey! You bloody watch it!"

"Who do you think you are OLD man? Step off or you'll get hurt"

Bruce's face turns into that anger expression and stand up quickly and got into Harvey's face.

"Oh...(chuckled) you want to HIT me Wayne? Go on, do it. I dare you"

"Bruce, it's okay" Alfred replied

"Please, don't do this. Not today" Jill said

"Enough you two. Harvey, get the hell out of here" Jim ordered

"You're LUCKY" Harvey said. Then walks away.

 The memorial parade begins....

Commissioner Jim Gordon, Jill Anderson, and GCPD is walking down Gotham Plaza with the white casket inside a carriage.

Most of Gotham Civilians, including Bruce Wayne, Alfred, Tim, and Rose are on the side.

Rose sees her son marching with the rest of GCPD. He glance at her; smile nodded. She smile back.

A LOT of armed men with clown faces are walking towards the Commissioner. 

 Jim stops walking as Jill and GCPD. "Oh shit"

Bruce and Tim saw them. They look at each other. Tim says, "Time to get to work"

Sam runs up to his mother, "Mom, you and Alfred get out of here. I want you both to be safe"

"I can fight. I can't help" Rose said

"Same here. I was in MI6 many years ago" Alfred replied

"Alfred, Rose, he's right. It's going to be too dangerous" Bruce said

"(sigh) Oh, alright. Come on Alfred. Hey, you be safe" she kissed her son on the cheek

"I will"

Rose and Alfred leaves the scene. Bruce and Tim got changed

One of the clown assailant walks up to Jim gave him a playing CARD

Jim flips it up showing the JOKER. He looks at the gunman clown, "Is this suppose to be a joke?"

The gunman laughs, "Hahahaha. No. Our boss will see you and that BAT freak really soon"

He turns around; walking away as the others walk away.

The casket opens>>>>>>>as an assailant gets out and starts SHOOTING!

Jim covers Jill, "Get down!"

Bullets are flying everywhere. People were screaming, running.

A few police officers were HIT! Most of them pulls out their guns and starts shooting back!

"That's gunshots!" Rose shouted trying to run back. Alfred grabs her by the waist, "Rose NO!"

"My son! He's out there!" she shouted (tears)

"Sam will be alright. He can take care of himself"

In the White Hummer....

Malcolm is driving. They hear gunshots from behind.

"What was that?" Angela asked

"Sounded like gunshots" Malcolm said

"That's GCPD's problem. I'm sure they'll handle it" Harvey said with confidence

Malcolm SLAMS the breaks! "What the hell Malcolm!"

They all look in front of them. Its 3 assailants. One of them is Joey in a clown face. Steve York is another.

"Get the HELL out of the Hummer Harvey!" Steve shouted. "NOW!"

"Kiss my ASS!" Harvey shouted. "Malcolm let's go"

A click sound of a rifle; aims at them.
