(A/N: This chapter contains major spoilers for the manga. Don't read this book if you don't want the ending of the series spoiled for you.)

It had been a few months since the students of Class A graduated from UA and became heroes... well, everyone except for Izuku Midoriya.

Izuku may have stopped Tomura Shigaraki and saved the world, but it cost him One For All. He had no choice but to drop out of the Hero Course and give up on his dream of being a hero.

The rest of his old classmates had graduated from UA and were now pro heroes, but they had all drifted apart due to their work schedules.

Izuku was now a teacher at UA and he was on his way to work in the rain, but he had the feeling he was being watched.

He didn't see the person watching him, shrugged it off, and kept on walking until suddenly he was surrounded by a group of people.

"What do you assholes want?" he said.

"Give us your money, kid!" one of the thugs shouted.

"I'm a teacher. I don't get paid shit." said Izuku.

The group of thugs all surrounded Izuku and powered up their quirks, when suddenly this person landed in front of Izuku.

(A/N: Pretend he's outdoors and not holding the thing in his left hand.)

The thugs stood there in shock and terror.

"Who the fuck are you supposed to be?!" one of the other thugs shouted.

"I am vengeance... I am the night... I... AM... BATMAN!" the hero shouted.

"Holy shit! It's the Bat!" another one of the thugs shouted.

"That's bullshit! Batman died years ago! This is just some wannabe!" another thug said.

Izuku on the other hand, couldn't believe his eyes. Was this really the Batman, A.K.A. Bruce Wayne? Izuku remembered hearing stories about him and seeing news reports about him when he was a kid. Batman was a vigilante in the city in America known as Gotham City, and he was presumably quirkless, but insanely skilled in combat. On Halloween night, about seven years ago, the villain known as Scarecrow had taken over Gotham with an entire army lead by a mysterious figure known as the Arkham Knight. Batman was able to stop Scarecrow and his army, but he ended up having to reveal his secret identity in the process, revealing him to be none other than billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. Then he blew up his family mansion while still inside and was presumed dead along with his butler.

"I assure you I'm not some wannabe." Batman said, "I'm giving you all one chance to walk away and leave this boy alone."

"Fuck you!" the first thug shouted, "Die, you freak!"

The thug all charged at Batman, and then...

Once all the thugs were beaten, bruised, and bloodied Batman walked over to Izuku, who stood there in complete shock.

"Are you alright?" Batman asked.

"Th- Thank you. You saved my life." Izuku said, still very shaken from the experience.

"These criminals and scum think they're above those who are weak and powerless because they have power, but they're not." Batman said.

"I have so many questions. Why did you save me? Are you the real Batman? If so, how are you alive and what are you doing here in Japan? And also..." and then Izuku started mumbling.

"Slow down. Let's talk elsewhere." Batman said.

Batman then pressed a button on his wrist device and a vehicle was heard coming their way. Batman leapt in the air and landed in an advanced high-tech looking car that drove in front of Izuku.

The back of the vehicle opened up, revealing a seat for Izuku to sit in.

"Get in." said Batman.

Izuku hesitantly got in the seat and the back of the car closed with him inside, then the car drove off to the outskirts of Musutafu.

Then they reached their destination. It was a cave located in the woods. Batman drove deeper into the cave until eventually they reached the deepest part of the cave.

It looked something like this:

The Batmobile then stopped and Izuku and Batman got out of it.

"Where... are we?" asked Izuku.

"This is the new Batcave. The one I've set up here in Japan." Batman explained.

"So, are you gonna answer my questions now?" Izuku asked.

"Well, to answer one of your questions..." Batman said as he removed his mask.

"Yes. I am Bruce Wayne - the real Batman." Bruce said.

Izuku's eyes widened in shock and excitement.

"I can't believe it! You're him! You're Batman! I've looked up to you almost as much as I've looked up to All Might!" Izuku said in excitement, "But I thought you were dead. The whole world did."

"I merely faked my death when I blew up Wayne Manor. After that, my butler - Alfred Pennyworth - and I left Gotham and went around the world, looking for a successor." Bruce explained.

"So why did you bring me here?" Izuku asked.

"Isn't it obvious? I want you as my successor. To become the next Batman." said Bruce.

"W- What?! But I'm quirkless!" Izuku said.

"Your quirklessness is one of the reasons why I want you as my successor. The other reason is because of what you did nearly two years ago. You defeated Tomura Shigaraki and saved the world, even though it cost you your quirk. That kind of selflessness is what makes you a perfect candidate to be my successor. I can't continue being Batman because of all the injuries I've sustained over the years, but I'd like to train you, pass on everything I've learned to you. And when the time is right, you will become the next Batman." Bruce explained.

"But the training to learn to do what you do could take months, years even." Izuku said.

"Which is why I want to begin your training as soon as possible." Bruce explained, "The rest of the world may have forgotten what you did for them, but I haven't. You can still be a hero, Izuku... What do you say?"

Izuku took a deep long thought about this.

All his former classmates were famous heroes now. He deserved to be a hero just as much, if not more so.

He made his decision.

"I accept." he said as he took Bruce's hand.

Thx for reading. I was super pissed at the new Suicide Squad game for killing off the Arkham Batman and having that be Kevin Conroy's last performance, so I decided to make this book to fix all that.

Yes, this is set in a version of the Arkham-verse, but with a few slight changes here and there. You're also supposed to be reading Bruce's lines in Kevin Conroy's voice. Also Bruce is wearing the Batman costume he wore in the Suicide Squad game because even though I despise the game, I like the costume.

Anyways, Rest In Peace, Kevin Conroy. Thank you for being the best Batman ever and a symbol and inspiration to all of us.
