When Y/n's best friend Nicole called her, she didn't expect Nicole to invite her to a party

~•|Chapter 1: The Invite|•~

Y/n's pov

I was scrolling through the photos I took today, smiling at each one. I posted them on my blog, smiling at the reactions already. Professor Blume would be proud of me! I set my camera down, calling out to my Alexa "Alexa, play my playlist on Spotify" as I went to the kitchen to start working on dinner for myself.

While I was singing into my phone with my music like it was a microphone, I got startled when it started vibrating. Someone was calling me. I quickly paused my music and answered the call, seeing it was Nicole Row, my beat friend since diapers  "Hey, Nic! Long time no talk!" I said to my friend

Nicole laughed a bit "I talked to you last week! Remember, about the auditions for Panic! At The Disco?" she said

"more like me calming you after you made up flaws about yourself" I joked

"well, you won't believe this, but, I'm now the newest touring bassist in Panic!!" Nicole nearly shouted.

I squealed "oh my god, I'm so proud of you!" I said in excitement "I knew you would make it! Now I can say I know a famous person soon!" I joked

Nicole laughed "anyways, we're going a little party next week and I wondered if you'd want to tag along! Maybe you can even take pictures! Replace Jake, ya know?"

"Nic, as much of a dream come as that'd be, I'd never be able to replace THE Jake Chaos" I said to her crazy talk

"you coming or not?"

"sure. Text me the info, and I'll see what I can do" I laughed a bit "do I need to bring anything?" I asked

"Just yourself!" Nicole said

I smiled "well, I'm making dinner right now. So, I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"K! Bye, (Y/n/n)!" Nic said, making me laugh a bit.

I hung up, and she texted me the info immediately. I went back to making dinner since, ya know, food is amazing.

While I was eating, I read the information Nicole sent me. I've never really been a huge fan of Panic! At The Disco, but, Nicole has always been kind of obsessed with them. I basically just really knew I Write Sins Not Tragedies and a couple others. But, I do know that Panic! is a widely known band. And the fact that Nicole got in is just absolutely astonishing. I'm very proud of her!

I just seriously don't get why she'd invite me to the party. I'm not a party girl. I'm more of a chill photographer. That is who I am. I've always been this way. I take risks a lot, yes, but, I always have a reason to support my risk. I'm not willy nilly but I'm also not too emotionless. I'm crazy in my own aspect, but, to other people, I was definitely the opposite of that.

Well, let's just see how this risk goes
