Charlotte was at school looking for Scott and Stiles. When she found them, she went up to them and slapped them both hard.

"Ow" Scott said. "That was for throwing Derek in jail your lucky all you got was a slap" Charlotte said and started walking away.

"Charlotte" Stiles said. "If you do it again, you'll get more than a slap, see you in class" Charlotte said and left.

"But dreams aren't memories" Stiles said after filling Charlotte in on what she missed setting his lunch down on the lunch table.

"Then it wasn't dream something happened last night and I can't remember what it was" Scott said before they all sat down. "What makes you so sure Derek has all the answers" Stiles asked.

"Maybe because he does" Charlotte said. "Because during the full moon he wasn't changed he was in total control while I was running around in the middle of the night attacking some totally innocent guy" Scott said.

"You don't know that" Stiles said. "I don't not know it I can't go out with Allison I have to cancel" Scott said.

"No, you're not canceling okay you can't just cancel your entire life we'll figure it out" Stiles said. "Figure what out" Lydia asked sitting next to her twin.

"Just uh homework" Scott said. "Yeah" Stiles said. "Why is she sitting with us" Stiles whispered to both Scott and Charlotte and they both shrugged.

Scott moved his bag seeing Allison wanted to sit next to him. She thanked him before sitting beside him. "Get up" Jackson said to some guy.

"How come you never ask Danny to get up" he asked Jackson. "Because I don't stare at his girlfriend's or her twin sister's coin slot" Danny said before the guy got up while Jackson took his place.

"So, I hear it's some type of animal attack probably a cougar" Danny said.

"A cougar is a mountain lion" Lydia said, and Charlotte smiled at her. "Isn't it" Lydia asked and Charlotte shook her head rolling her eyes.

"Who cares the guy's probably some homeless tweaker who's gonna die anyway" Jackson said. "Actually, I just found out who it is check it out" Stiles said as they watched the video on his phone.

"The Sheriff's department won't speculate on details of the incident but confirmed the victim Garrison Meyers did survive the attack Meyers was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition" the reporter said.

"I know this guy" Scott said. "You do" Allison asked him. "Yeah, when I used to take the bus back when I lived with my dad, he was the driver" Scott said.

"Can we talk about something slightly more fun please" Lydia asked. "Like oh where are we going tomorrow night" Lydia asked Allison.

"You said you and Scott were hanging out tomorrow night" Lydia said.

"Um we were thinking of what we were gonna do" Allison said. "Well, I am not sitting home again watching lacrosse videos so if the four of us are hanging out we are doing something fun" Lydia said. 

"Hanging out like the four of us do you wanna hang out like us and then" Scott asked and Charlotte kicked him under the table.

Scott looked at Charlotte and she glared at him, and he stayed silent. "Yeah, I guess sounds fun" Allison said. "You know what sounds fun, stabbing myself in the face with this fork" Jackson said.

"How about bowling you love to bowl" Lydia said. "Yeah, with actual competition like your sister" Jackson said.

"How do you know we're not actual competition you can bowl right" Allison asked. "Sort of" Scott said.

"Is it sort of or yes" Jackson asked. "Yes, in fact I'm a great bowler" Scott said.

"Char are you joining us" Lydia asked. "As much fun as that sounds I think I'll pass this time maybe next time" Charlotte said and Lydia nodded.

Scott, Charlotte, and Stiles left the lunchroom together. "You're a terrible bowler" Stiles said. "I know I'm such an idiot" Scott said.

"Wow something, we agree on" Charlotte said. "It was like watching a car wreck I mean first it turned into the whole group date thing and then out of nowhere comes that phrase" Stiles said. "Hang out" Scott said.

"You don't hang out with hot girls okay it's like death once it's hanging out you might as well be her gay best friend you and Danny can start hanging out" Stiles said.

"Excuse you" Charlotte said. "Well besides Char" Stiles said. "Much better" Charlotte said.

"How is this happening I either killed a guy or I didn't" Scott said. "I don't think Danny likes me very much" Stiles said.

"I ask Allison on a date and now we're hanging out" Scott said.

"Am I attractive to gay guys" Stiles asked. "I make first line and the team captain wants to destroy me and now, now I'm gonna be late for work" Scott said and left.

"Wait Scott you didn't am I attractive to gay guys" Stiles yelled then looked at Charlotte who just walked away without answering.

Charlotte was at home alone when there was a knock on the door.

She got up and answered seeing Derek. "Derek" Charlotte said.

"Hey, are you home alone" Derek asked. "My sister is on a double date and my mother is who knows where" Charlotte said. "Oh" Derek said.

"Did you need something" Charlotte asked. "I was wondering if you wanted to go for a short ride get to know each other better maybe hopefully and plus it's not always smart to stay home alone" Derek said.

"It's not always smart to get in a car with a guy you barely know" Charlotte said. "That is also true" Derek said.

"But you know life is full of risks so why not" Charlotte said and grabbed her house keys. "Let's go" Charlotte said and they both got in Derek's car and Derek drove off.

"So how come you wanted to know me better" Charlotte asked. "Can't a guy just get to know someone he just met" Derek asked and Charlotte looked at him.

"Okay maybe I like you and that doesn't happen a lot" Derek said and Charlotte smiled.

"I know the feeling" Charlotte said and Derek smiled at her. "By the way not that this is news, but my friends are idiots" Charlotte said and Derek smiled at her. 

"What do you want to know" Charlotte asked. "Anything" Derek said.

"Okay I'm well I'm close to my twin sister Lydia both of my parents are divorced I live with my mother and oh I think your pretty cool yourself" Charlotte said and Derek smiled.

"What about you" Charlotte asked. "Well half of my family died in a fire my uncle and I were the only survivors in a werewolf as you know" Derek said.

"An incredibly hot one" Charlotte mumbled to herself. "Who has really good super hearing" Derek said, and Charlotte blushed.

"Don't worry your pretty hot yourself" Derek said and continued to drive as they kept getting to know each other.

Derek went to the gas station needing to get gas before taking Charlotte home.

Charlotte was standing beside Derek when Derek heard familiar cars. "Get behind me quick" Derek said. "Derek" Charlotte said.

"Charlotte please just do it and don't come out until I say so, please" Derek said and Charlotte sighed before getting behind Derek. "Nice ride" Argent said, and Derek looked at him.

"Black cars though very hard to keep clean I would definitely suggest a little more maintenance if you have something this nice you want to take care of right" Argent stated.

"Personally, I'm very protective of the things I love but that's something I learned from my family, and you don't have much of that these days do you" Argent asked, and Derek made a fist as Charlotte saw.

"There we go you can actually look through your windshield now see how that makes everything so much clearer" Argent said before going to walk away.

"You forgot to check the oil" Derek told him. "Check the man's oil" Argent told the hunter who came with him, and he broke Derek's windshield and Charlotte nearly jumped out of her skin.

"Looks good to me" the hunter said. "Drive safely" Argent said and then he and the hunters he came with left.

"Okay Char it's safe" Derek said and Charlotte came out from behind him.

"Are you okay" Charlotte asked. "Yeah, I'm fine used to it" Derek said. "But you shouldn't be" Charlotte said.

"Can't help it it's part of the whole werewolf thing" Derek said. "Well, if it ever gets too much sneak in through my bedroom window, you'll be safe there" Charlotte said.

"I'll keep that in mind" Derek said and Charlotte smiled.
