Charlotte was in her room asleep next to Lydia when Stiles and Scott came in quietly after they defeated Peter.

Scott went to check Lydia's wound form Peter. "Is it completely healed" Stiles asked. "No not at all" Scott said. "What about Charlotte" Stiles asked and Scott kicked Charlotte's room.

"She's not healing either" Scott said and Stiles looked. "I don't get it the doctor said they'd be fine" Stiles said.

"Yeah, but the bite's not healing like it did with me which means they're not a werewolf" Scott said. "Then what are they" Stiles asked.

Charlotte was asleep when she felt someone grab her hand and she looked and saw Derek. "Derek" Charlotte said.

"Hey" Derek said in a low voice so Lydia wouldn't wake up. "What are you doing here" Charlotte asked. "I heard what Peter did, I had to come see you" Derek said. "Are you okay" Derek asked.

"Yeah" Charlotte said. "Wait, am I" Charlotte asked. "Let me see" Derek said and looked at Charlotte's wound. "No, no, you're not" Derek said.

"Then what am I" Charlotte asked. "I don't know but I will find out" Derek said.

"What about Lydia" Charlotte asked. Derek quietly went to Lydia and checked her wound before quietly making his way back to Lydia.

"No, she's not healing whatever you are I assume she's the same thing" Derek said.

"Where's Peter" Charlotte asked. "Don't worry about it" Derek said. "What did you do" Charlotte asked. "I killed him okay he's not gonna hurt you anymore" Derek said.

"Wait so that means you're a" Charlotte said and Derek glowed his eyes for a moment and Charlotte smiled at him.

"Yeah, I'm an alpha" Derek said. "I thought I lost you" Derek told Charlotte who stayed silent.

"When they told me what happened" Derek said. "Wait why did they tell you" Charlotte asked. "Beats me maybe because they saw we been getting close, or they know that I" Derek said.

"That you what" Charlotte asked. Instead of saying anything Derek kissed Charlotte.

Derek pulled away and looked at Charlotte who smiled at him.

"I almost forgot what your lips felt like" Charlotte said and Derek smiled and kissed her cheek. "I can't wait till you're out of here I hate seeing you like this" Derek said.

"You and me both I hate hospitals" Charlotte said. "Also, so I can take my girlfriend on a proper date" Derek said. "Girlfriend" Charlotte asked.

"I don't just go around kissing anybody" Derek said. "I mean that is okay right" Derek asked. "Yeah, it's perfect" Charlotte said and Derek gave Charlotte a quick kiss.

"Get some rest I'll be back soon to check on you" Derek said.

"Okay" Charlotte said, and Derek kissed her forehead and left while Charlotte went back to sleep.
