Deaton found Derek and was trying to wake him up. "Derek, can you hear me, Derek can you hear me" Deaton asked.

"I need you to answer me Derek we don't have much time" Deaton said. Once Deaton saw Derek wasn't coming around, he blew his whistle and Derek woke up. "That sound" Derek said.

"What was that" Derek asked and Deaton shown him his whistle. Derek got up and was about to fall and Deaton and Charlotte quickly got up and steadied his balance.

"You're going to be weak for several hours" Deaton said. "It actually happened" Derek said after a moment.

"Don't worry you're still an alpha but as usual not a particularly competent one" Deaton said.

"Where is he" Derek asked referring to Peter. "I wish I could tell you" Deaton said.

"Char, are you okay did he hurt you" Derek asked Charlotte. "I'm okay but don't worry about me right now" Charlotte said.

Derek then hugged Charlotte as she hugged him back knowing he needed it.

They pulled away after a moment and Derek faced Deaton. "How about you tell me what you're doing here and why you're helping me" Derek said. "Derek" Charlotte said.

"Helping your family actually used to be a pretty important part of my life helping you was a promise I made to your mother" Deaton said.

"You're the one my sister talked about she said you're a kind of advisor" Derek said.

"She was right and I have some advice that you need to listen to very closely right now what Peter managed to do doesn't come without a price he'll be physically weak so he'll rely on the strength of his intelligence his cunning he's gonna come at you Derek he'll try to twist his way into your head preying on your insecurities he'll tell you that he's the only way you can stop Gerard do not trust him" Deaton said.

"I only trust Charlotte" Derek said. "Well, that's sweet" Charlotte said smiling at her boyfriend.

"I know and if you trusted more people, you might be the alpha you like to think you are and unfortunately the one person you should trust doesn't trust you at all" Deaton said.

"Scott" Derek said. "He's with Stilinski right now you need to find him; you need to find him as fast as you can I've known Gerard for a long time he always has a plan something tells me it's going exactly the way he wants it too" Deaton said.

"Come on" Charlotte said and she and Derek hurried off.

Scott opened the door at the sheriff's station as Matt had told him so who had a gun in his hand thinking it was his mom but once he saw it was Derek and Charlotte, he was relieved.

But that had disappeared once they fell to the ground next to each other and Scott had saw Jackson was behind them and realized he had paralyzed them.

Matt had bent down in front of Derek. "This is the one controlling him this kid" Derek said.

"Well Derek not everyone's lucky enough to be a big bad werewolf oh yeah that's, that's right" Matt said and faced Scott and Stiles again.

"I've learned a few things lately werewolves' hunters' Kanimas it's like a frickin Halloween party every full moon except for you Stiles" Matt said. "What do you turn into" Matt asked.

"Abominable snowman but uh it's more of like a wintertime thing you know seasonal" Stiles said and Matt nodded to Jackson.

Jackson had paralyzed Stiles, and he had fell on top of Derek. "I knew something felt off about this guy I mean it was written all over his face" Charlotte said.

When Scott was about to attack Jackson pointed his finger at him with his claws out and Scott backed down.

"Get him off of me" Derek said. "Oh, I don't know Derek, I think you two make a pretty good pair it must kinda suck though to have all that power taken away from you with just a little cut to the back of the neck I bet you're not used to feeling this helpless" Matt said.

"Still got some teeth, why don't you get down here a little closer huh we'll see how helpless I am" Derek said.

They all had saw lights from outside the window. "Is that her" Matt asked Scott.

"Do what I tell you to, and I won't hurt her I won't even let Jackson near her" Matt said.

"Scott don't trust him" Stiles said. "I swear Scott if you trust him" Charlotte said before Matt grabbed her choking her while Matt pushed Stiles off of Derek and choked him with his foot.

"This work better for you" Matt asked. "Okay just stop, stop" Scott said. "Then do what I tell you to" Matt said.

"Okay alright stop" Scott said, and Matt did, causing Stiles to cough letting Charlotte fall to the ground.

"Starting to wish Peter was here" Charlotte said. "You take 'em in there" Matt said to Jackson motioning to Derek, Charlotte, and Stiles. "You with me" Matt said to Scott and Scott and Matt left.

"The evidence is gone why don't you just go" Scott said. "You think the evidence mattered that much huh" Matt asked. "No, I want the book" Matt said.

"What, what book" Scott asked. "The bestiary not just a few pages I want the entire thing" Matt said. "I don't have it it's Gerard's" Scott said.

"What do you want it for anyway" Scott asked. "Ah I need answers" Matt said.

"Answers to what" Scott asked. "To this" Matt said and showed part of his skin was showing Kanima skin.

"What do you mean" Stiles asked Derek. "The universe balances things out always does" Derek said.

"Is it because he's using Jackson to kill people who don't deserve it" Charlotte asked. "And killing people himself" Derek said.

"So, Matt breaks the rules of the Kanima he becomes the Kanima" Stiles said. "Balance" Derek said. "Will he believe us if we tell him that" Charlotte asked. "Not likely" Derek said.

"Okay he's going to kill all of us when he gets that book isn't he" Stiles asked.

"Yep" Derek said. "Alright so what do we do, do we just sit here and wait to die" Stiles said.

"Unless I can figure out a way to push the toxin out of my body faster like triggering the healing process" Derek said.

"Oh, oh what are you doing" Stiles asked before he and Charlotte saw what Derek was doing. "Oh gross" Stiles said.

"So is that hypothetical situation we talked about getting any less hypothetical" Stiles asked.

"I think so I can move my toes" Derek said. "Dude I can move my toes" Stiles said.

All of a sudden, gun shots were heard and as Jackson was distracted Scott knocked him out. Scott had gone to Derek, Charlotte, and Stiles.

"Take them go" Derek said and got up. Scott had done as Derek asked and left. Scott had set down Charlotte and Stiles down somewhere.

"Don't move" Scott said. "Does it look like we have a choice" Charlotte asked. "You know what I mean" Scott said and left.

Stiles and Charlotte had crawled to the jail center where they saw Noah had managed to get free from the handcuffs he was in when suddenly Matt came in and knocked him out.

"Matt, Matt please listen to me my son has been shot and I've heard other gunfire and I don't know what's happening, but can you please just let me see my son" Melissa asked.

"How totally clueless are you people" Matt asked. Derek came in his wolf form as Melissa and Charlotte saw.

He had saw Jackson in his Kanima form. Derek had started to fight him, and Matt ran off.

When Derek was knocked down the Kanima had climbed on the cage and screeched at Melissa when Scott threw him off in his wolf form and Melissa had saw him. The Kanima ran off and Derek ran after it.
