Banshees, Alpha packs, and Darach's

(Episode 1 - 12)

Charlotte was asleep on her bed when Derek quietly came in through the window Charlotte kept unlocked for him.

Derek quietly closed the window before taking off his shirt and pants along with his shoes leaving him in his boxers.

He pulled the covers back as he laid down beside Charlotte pulling the covers over him. Charlotte laid on his chest as she was half awake. "You gonna be like this all the time" Charlotte asked.

"Hey, you know what's here I can't risk them taking you or you, getting hurt" Derek said. "So, my werewolf boyfriend is my personal bodyguard now" Charlotte asked.

"Get back to sleep" Derek said as he put his arm around her. "Fine but before I do am I ever gonna see your new place" Charlotte asked.

"As soon as it's ready now get some sleep" Derek said and kissed her forehead.

Scott, Charlotte and Stiles walked into school when Scott just told them about asking Derek for help. "You wanna ask Derek for help" Stiles asked.

"Why, why" Stiles asked. "He's got the triskele tattooed on his back so there has to be a way to do it without healing right" Scott said.

"Probably more painful" Charlotte said, and Scott noticed Charlottes shirt. "Is that Derek's shirt" Scott asked. "Yeah, he stayed over last night" Charlotte told him.

"Okay anyways doesn't he have his hands full" Stiles asked referring to Derek as they looked at the poster of Boyd and Erica that said missing.

"Look these are the applications for the career advisor I need them sorted and whatever happened to the library while I was gone, I want it cleared up" the principal said.

"And what is this" the principal asked holding Gerard's weapon as Scott, Charlotte, and Stiles saw.

"Go, go, go" Stiles said and he, Charlotte, and Scott quickly left.

"Freshmen tons and tons of fresh men" Lydia said. "You mean fresh boys Lydia they're fourteen" Allison said.

"Meh some are more mature than others" Lydia said.

"Eh I have a boyfriend plus they're not my type" Charlotte said. "Yeah, cause you like older guys" Lydia said.

"Exactly" Charlotte said as Lydia smiled at her. "You know it's okay to be single focus on yourself for a little while work on becoming a better person" Allison told Lydia.

"Allison, I love you so if you need to do that thing where we talk about me and pretend like we're not actually talking about you it's totally fine, but I don't want a boyfriend I want a distraction" Lydia said.

Allison, Lydia, and Charlotte then noticed two boys walked in together.

"Brothers" Allison asked. "Twins" Charlotte and Lydia said in sync.

Allison had walked in class looking for a seat when she saw one in front of Scott, and she had walked to it. "Is anyone" Allison asked.

No, no, no, no, no it's all you it's all yours uh it's totally vacant" Scott said, and Allison smiled before sitting down.

Scott had looked at Stiles who gave him a, thumbs up and Charlotte just shook her head at him as everyone's phone buzzed, and everyone had got it out looking at the message.

"The offing was barred by a black bank of clouds and the tranquil waterway leading to the uttermost ends of the earth" Jennifer said and walked in the class.

"Flowed somber under an overcast seemed to lead into the heart of an immense darkness this is the last line to the first book we're going to read it is also the last text you will receive in this class phones off everyone" Jennifer said and everyone turned their phones off.

Everyone was working on their assignment in class when Jennifer spoke up. "Mr. McCall" Jennifer said, and Scott looked up.

Jennifer had motioned Scott up front and Scott grabbed his stuff heading out into the hall with Jennifer.

"Uh I'm sure it's an emergency if your mother needs you to leave school but I'm gonna give you a warning in the nicest possible way I am well aware of your attendance record I don't wanna see you slip back into old habits" Jennifer said.

"I won't it's gonna be different this year" Scott said.

"Resolutions are only good if you stick with them Scott" Jennifer said. "I will I promise it won't be ephemeral" Scott said and left.

Stiles noticed a bandage on Lydia's ankle. "Hey Lydia, what is that, is that from the accident" Stiles asked. "No Prada bit me" Lydia said. "Your dog" Stiles asked.

"No, my designer handbag" Lydia said, and Charlotte held in her laugh. "Yes, my dog" Lydia said.

"Has it ever bitten you before" Stiles asked and Lydia shook her head.

"Okay what if it's like the same thing as the deer you know like how animals start acting weird right before an earthquake or something" Stiles asked.

"Meaning what there's gonna be an earthquake" Charlotte asked. "Or something I just maybe it means something's coming something bad" Stiles said.

"It was a deer and a dog" Lydia said. "What's that thing you say about threes once twice" Lydia asked and a bird had knocked on the window as everyone looked. 

Jennifer had gotten closer looking and saw a flock of birds heading their way. They managed to get in as the glass broke.

"Get down everyone get down" Jennifer said and Charlotte made her way to Lydia shielding her from getting hurt with Stiles doing the same to Charlotte.

Jennifer made it to her desk shielding a student from getting hurt.

"Get down, get down" Jennifer yelled. Soon it had stopped, and everyone had stood up seeing the scene.

Stiles saw Jennifer acting strange after what had happened. "Ms. Blake you okay" Stiles asked before going to her.

"Uh sorry just that" Stiles said getting a feather out of her hair.

"Next time you're feeling you wanna stay home you stay home" Argent said. "I'm okay but dad the deer and now this" Allison said.

"I know, I know" Argent said. "It can't be a coincidence" Allison said and Noah made his way to them.

"Mr. Argent you wouldn't have any insight into this would you" Noah asked.

"Me" Argent asked. "Yeah, all this bizarre animal behavior it's you must have seen something like this before right" Noah asked.

"I'm not sure why I would or why you would think I would" Argent said. "I'm sorry I could've sworn I overheard my son talking about how you were an experienced hunter" Noah said.

"Ah right well not anymore" Argent said. "You alright" Noah asked Allison. "Yeah" Allison said before Noah left.

"We got a serious problem Ms. Blake's class" Stiles said on the phone with Scott. "Hey, can you tell me about it later" Scott asked.

"Well, no, pretty sure this qualifies for immediate discussion" Stiles said.

"Ok then meet me at Derek's and bring Char" Scott said. "Derek's house what are you doing" Stiles asked before Scott interrupted.

"Just meet us here okay" Scott said before the line went dead.

"Yeah, I see it" Derek said. "It's two bands right what does it mean" Derek asked with Charlotte beside him and Stiles beside Scott after Scott had asked help on a tattoo.

"I don't know it's just something I traced with my fingers" Scott said tracing it, showing Derek. "Why is this so important to you" Derek asked.

"Do you know what the world tattoo means" Scott asked. "To mark something" Stiles said.

"Well, that's in Tahitian in Samoan it means open wound I knew I wanted to get a tattoo when I turned 18, I always wanted one I just decided to get it now to make it kind of a reward" Scott said.

"A reward" Charlotte asked. "For what" Derek asked.

"For not calling or texting Allison all summer even when I really wanted to even when it's hard not to sometimes, I was trying to give her the space she wants goin four months later it still hurts it still feels like a uh" Scott said.

"Open wound" Stiles said. "Yeah" Scott said. Derek then grabbed the device.

"Pain's gonna be worse than anything you ever felt" Derek said. "Ah that's great" Stiles said.

"Do it" Scott said and Derek lit it up. "Oh, wow that's a, that's a lot for me so I'm gonna that as my cue I'm just gonna wait outside" Stiles said going to leave but Derek stopped him.

"Nope you can help hold him down" Derek said and Stiles went to hold Scott down.

"Why can't Char do that" Stiles asked as Charlotte gave him an, are you serious, look.

"She's my girlfriend plus I sleep with her, and I'd like to continue sleeping with her if you don't mind" Derek said. Derek started the process and Scott started to scream.

"Hold him" Derek told Stiles and continued the process till he eventually passed out.

Derek had finished his tattoo and put the equipment away.

"Char baby" Derek said and led her. "Derek what is it" Charlotte asked and noticed Derek checking her for injuries.

"I heard what happened at the school" Derek said. "I'm fine I promise if I wasn't I'd tell you" Charlotte said and Derek smiled before giving her a quick kiss.

Stiles saw them and couldn't help but smile seeing how big Charlotte's smile was when she was with Derek something he hadn't seen in a long time.

Suddenly Scott had woken up and saw his tattoo. "It worked" Scott said.

"Well looks pretty permanent now" Stiles said as Charlotte helped Derek with Issac.

"Yeah, I kind of needed something permanent everything that's happened to us everything just changes so fast everything's so uh ephemeral" Scott said.

"Studying for the PSATS" Stiles asked. "Yep" Scott said. "Nice" Stiles said. As they were about to leave Scott noticed something different with the door.

"You painted the door" Scott said and Derek and Charlotte looked at him. "Why'd you paint the door" Scott asked. "Go home Scott" Derek said.

"And why only one side" Scott asked. Scott had extracted his claws and started scratching the paint off.

"Scott" Derek said as he and Charlotte made their way over as Scott started to scratch the paint off quickly stopping when he saw the symbol.

"The birds at school and the deer last night just like the night I got trampled by the deer when I got bit by the alpha" Scott said. "How many are there" Scott asked.

"A pack of them an alpha pack" Derek said. "All of them how does that even work" Scott asked.

"I hear there's some kind of a leader he's called Deucalion we know they have Boyd and Erica, Peter, Isaac, and I have been looking for him for the last four months" Derek said.

"Let's say you find them how do you deal with an alpha pack" Scott asked.

"With all the help I can get" Derek said. "Where is she where's the girl" Issac asked who was now awake as they all looked. "What girl" Charlotte asked.
