"That, was awesome!"

"I can't believe we just did that!"

"Yeah, you three did great!"

"Girls, we were in there for three songs." Angelica retorted. 

"It was five." Peggy murmured in response, "Though, I wouldn't have minded only playing three. That was super tiring!"

The four girls were stood backstage as James walked quickly past them to address the crowd. Mariah turned rapidly away from them, covering her face with her long hair and side fringe. She cautiously turned around again, only when she could hear James' muffled voice on stage.

Only a few words could be heard. The sisters tried to listen but Peggy was too distracted by Mariah's sudden decision to shrink into herself after James' brief appearance.
"Are you okay?" She whispered only for Angelica to shush her.
Peggy glanced sympathetically towards Mariah but Mariah was avoiding eye contact.

"The sisters will be returning in five days so make sure to return!" Reynolds' voice boomed out through the speakers.

"What!" Peggy retorted only for Eliza to turn and give her a look.

"What!" Peggy whispered, flashing Eliza a look in return.

Mariah put her arms around their shoulders to start herding them out
"Don't worry girls, it's just more publicity, for the bar and you, you know how James can be sometimes, it's a good thing, it is!There will be someone in the crowd to notice you. It will be great and you won't need me, I'm not important, not really. "

"Mariah-" Angelica started.
In response, Mariah just shushed her with a finger against her rouged lips which she then held out at the sisters and frantically waved it across them. She shut the door to them and leant back against it, breathing deeply.

She shook her head and started walking forwards, slowly at first, gaining pace quickly, her high heels announcing her entrance with a sharp, constant click oon the hard floor.
"I'M COMING JAMES!"she called.

The sisters were still staring at the locked door.

"No one tells Angelica Schuyler to shut up"
"Please be quiet Angie"
"Sorry"

This isn't much of an authors note when compared to the others I've written but I just wanted to get this chapter published.
I've been reading a great book by BellaNova_ about the actual history behind Hamilton and Hamino is becoming a lot more aware so Imma try adding some of that into here! Like Laurens being fluent in French.
