The Finest of Wardens
Layla Allbrooke (She/Her)
Nightstone High Security Prison is the best prison in all of the Kingdom of the Harbringer. Lady Layla Allbrooke took over as the warden— at the age of 26– after her father, Duncan, passed away a year ago. Still reeling with the death, the prison has become a far veiled environment than it was intended to be. The Warden allows for cruel treatment and even engages in it herself sometimes. She is fiercely loyal to her kingdom and her princess, Columba. Once you're in Nightstone, you don't leave until the reaper knocks.

Fly on the Wall
Caelum Helwick (He/Him)
When one of higher society gets bored, rumors tend to spread. This is where the young 26 year old Caelum Helwick comes into the picture. With a smile dripping venom and eyes that see through the cracks, Caelum acts as a perfect fly on the wall. Nobody knows where his loyalties truly lie, but they will fill that void with nonsense until they're blue in the face. If they can't prove it, it truly doesn't matter.

Dimhold's Diamond
Ahmya Debeney (She/They)
Born in the farmlands of Dimhold, Ahmya Debeney is a 24 year old woman looking to keep her family's business afloat. Times have been easy for businesses in the war, but now within the peace times the market has gotten more competitive. What is this business? Well, only the mages and treacherous witches could tell you the truth. Ahmya does what she can and helps whoever pays her the best money. She doesn't betray people out of malice, only desperation.

The Secret Elemental
Xanthos Dobyns (He/They)
It's always the quiet ones, it seems. Born and raised in Dimhold for 25 years, Xanthos Dobyns does odd jobs for people to make a living. He has no house and no family, so he instead rents rooms in taverns, eats what little he can afford, and wanders for better teachers. Xanthos is a mage, and a damn chaotic one at that. With no control over his power, Xanthos aims to find a way to master his abilities before they prove to be the death of them. They'd rather not conquer their own grave with their connection to the earth.

Verena Alfounder (She/Her)
The kingdom of the Guardian is full of many distinguished families. For the lady Verena Alfounder, her family works closely with the royal family in order to upkeep order and structure within the kingdom. She is usually there with ambassadors and representatives as well, ensuring the future of the light kingdom is well preserved. Though her parents are alive, the 27 year old has basically taken over the family business.

Researcher's Mission
Noe Blackewey (She/Her)
At the age of 5, Noe Blackewey witnessed magic for the first time. She couldn't use it herself, but she found the fact that other people could fascinating. Now, at the age of 25, Noe has started to work along side the mages of the light kingdom. While not a mage herself, Noe continues to tirelessly assist in creating easier ways for mages to access their powers.

Silence Within the Loud
Illias Maunders (He/They)
The high life of a noble is mostly parties, balls, fancy events and even fancier food. For 27 year old Illias Maunders, however, life is more about making sure those people get the orders they demand. Illias does his duty to his country in unconventional means, being the son of the best delivery company in the capital. Money is money, he supposes, but he'd rather spend his time with simpler things.

Talent Unmatched
Ambrose Osbourne (He/Him)
Mages are exactly the most noble, but certain mages have skills that can turn the heads of any royal that crosses their path. In the case of 28 year old Ambrose Osbourne, his duties to his country rely on his skill with his magic. While water is a more passive element, Ambrose seems to use it with precision and ease. He's become one of the best of the royal mercenaries and soldiers. Though, his loyalties don't seem solid. He seems far more keen to other mages than royalty itself.

Daeron Treviel (He/Him)
Even at the age of 57, the king is still has smart in the mind as ever. His rule is just and his heart is full, but the king has a duty to his people and his family. Daeron is a man who will forgive under the right circumstances, but will never forget. He will do what he must for the safety of his family and his kingdom.

Queen, Diplomat, Mother
Titania Treviel (She/Her)
A mother is loyal to her children first in the eyes of Titania Treviel. The 55 year old queen is far crueler than her husband, but in the best sense. She will rip and tear gowns, cities, and countries down for the fates of her children to be assured. Titania very involved with ruling, ensuring that society continues to develop and move forward while her husband handles everything behind the scenes.

Bruised Beauty's Blood
Columba Treviel (She/Her)
The eldest child of the Treviel name and the princess of the dark, Columba waits patiently for the day she is named queen. Growing up with her parents, Columba was the only of her siblings to truly see the war in action at age 5. Now, at the age of 30, Columba trains to be as sharp with a sword as she is with her mind. She works closely to Layla Allbrooke within the Nightstone High Security Prison in her spare time as well.

Unclaimed Heir
Regulus Treviel (He/Him)
The only prince of the his family, Regulus makes due with his time. While Columba is off keeping the kingdom secure, Regulus is the socialite that attends parties and parades. Most royal speeches are done by him or his father, and the land of darkness adores their prince. Though, there are rumors that the young prince—age 28–is planning to take the throne of his elder sister. He assured the public they're only rumors, but one cannot simply trust a word and a smile.

The Withering Star
Rhea Treviel (She/Her)
The fair princess Rhea is a diamond amongst her siblings. Well behaved, graceful, honorable... but there is one problem. Rhea is prone to illness, and has fallen sick more times than any of her siblings combined. Fainting spells, bloody spit, and more have accursed the princess with what should have been a short life. Thanks to their partnership with the The Council's representatives, Rhea has lived longer than most expect of her. The 25 year old uses this time wisely and gratefully, and some even say that had she not been this sick, she could've made a better queen than Columba and Titania.

A Whisper Amongst Demons
Metis Treviel (She/Her)
Columba is the warrior, Regulus is the socialite, and Rhea is the trophy; so what does that leave Metis Treviel? Rumors spread fast about her birth; that she was a mistake on the queen and king's part. Some have even questioned the legitimacy of her birth, which was met with swift and just punishment. Metis is a silent dagger within her family, a chess piece to move around carefully. She strikes with a precision that would make her father jealous. Despite this, 20 year old Metis Treviel is gentle and forgiving. Perhaps she is the best for the throne after all.

To The Light
Europa Candorr (She/Her)
As one of the representatives for The Council, Europa works directly with the royal house of the light kingdom. People have found Europa to have always been a reasonable woman. Classy, sharp witted, and charming, Europa works well with many of the people she encounters. She almost doesn't need her powers of fire and earth to win her battles. At the age of 27, Europa is remarkably reliable and fiercely loyal to The Council first and the kingdoms second.

Within the Dark
Circinus Greer (He/They)
A warlock of business, no doubt. Age 29, Circinus Greer works as one of representatives for The Council in the Treviel kingdom. Circinus is rather no nonsense while on the job, but has been known to be quite charming when in the streets. He takes on many apprentices, teaching them about the different ways in which they can perform their magic—but only if they remain loyal to The Council of course. He does not forgive traitors, usually suffocating them with his control over air or burying them with earth.

The Apprentice
Cyllene Verney (She/They)
Cyllene is one of Circinus's many apprentices. A charismatic young woman at the age of 23, she is in training to perhaps move up in ranking within The Council. She is prideful of her home and travels a lot—either with her mentor or with Lady Europa to see the light kingdom (under Circinus's jurisdiction, of course). She's far more forgiving than her predecessors and is always looking for a new adventure. She masters the art of water so she may move into potion making and perhaps be a healer.

A Bastard Before The Honorable
Gavril (He/Him)
When it comes to the bastard of Dimhold, within the Treviel Kingdom, only one thing is for certain: he deserved to be locked up. He now resides keep in the maw of Nightstone, a prison close by the capital city of Mento. A high security prison in which no one has ever escaped, but the bastard waits.
They know, as well, of his warlock blood. They've seen him try to drown those that pick fights with him in the courtyard—his earth powers are nothing special but when others expect magic to be null inside the prison, Gavril finds a way. His warlock blood, signified by his pointed ears, are a dead giveaway that he doesn't even belong here.
The royal family don't exactly know what to do with him. They've asked their Council Advisors, but they haven't gotten clearance from the Council to take him in yet. For now, the 38 year old warlock sits in his cell—planning and waiting.

Run, Child. Run.
Llyr (They/Them)
Llyr's life had been nothing but turmoil since the day they met that bastard. Nevertheless, they also have that bastard to thank for their life. For that, they are eternally grateful—more grateful to Gavril than he would ever be to the likes of The Council.
At the young age of 26, Llyr uses The Forest of Twin Fates as their cover as they work tirelessly to avoid their previous captors, as well try to free as her only family.
Being a witch in nature, Llyr is a air elemental who lives in the farmlands of the Treviel kingdom. They're known for carrying out jobs that allow people to sweep their mistakes under the rug. They're skilled what little magic they have to benefit them on jobs, and they always keep their hood up to hide the pointed ears that come with their witch blood.
