Narrators POV
They say their in silence. Each knowing the other had no energy to speak; they were all in disbelief.

The chair felt so uncomfortable for one. Refusing to acknowledge he could've done nothing at all, he paced in front of the door.

The door that if someone walked through either with good or bad news, whatever it was, it is gonna the cause of relief and cheer or grief and tears.

The ones waiting for the news behind those doors that decide it all, were filled with fear. Some more than others, however, with the tension in said room they all knew.

Xavier he paced, not being able to sit down from how worried he has been. He was so overwhelmed with this feeling. He had never loved someone as much as he does his parents, and so losing someone he loved so much, he did not want to go through that again.

More to add on to the fact that he didn't get a chance to say those words, although the heard them from her. He did not have the chance to tell her.

You really don't know how much you care for something unless it's gone

Filled with regret he could not stop the tears that escaped. It's too late now for him to wish he'd done that or wish he'd said that. It's too late.

"It's too late..." he whispered unconsciously. As they all turned towards him, no one expecting the silence to be broken.

"Don't say that," Blake said in a hushed tone.

"What?" Xavier asked turning towards Blake.

"Don't say that," Blake repeated, "Don't lose hope."

They all looked surprised, because they saw Blake crying. For the first time ever, no one has ever seen Blake crying yet alone shed a tear.

"She's a fighter," Alex said.
Remembering the time...

"With Nutella" she insisted.

"No that's gross," Alex told her.

She gassed dramatically all while turning around, opening the cupboard, taking the Nutella out, opening it, getting a spoon, and adding some into the blender.

"Gurrrly why?" Alex shakes his head.

She glared at him and said, "really?"

"What?"

"Well, I don't know who decided to add tomatoes insisting that they're a fruit so they'd be good in a smoothie, and ketchup is basically a smoothie, so if we blend tomato we'd have ketchup which is a fruit smoothie," She mocked his speech from earlier.

"Well," he began, but was cut off when he heard a loud crashing noise coming
From the back door that was beside the kitchen which is where they were.

"What was that?" She asked, because the only ones that were currently in the house are her and Alex. Xavier, Noah, Hunter, and Blake were out right now. So Blake and Skylar decided to experiment with smoothies 'creating whale poop' according to Alex (don't even ask)

"Let's go check," they began walking slowly towards the back door.

"WAIT!!" Alex whisper screamed (lol w0t) making Skylar jump from the sudden noise. She glared at him and shook her head silently asking why did you scream. "We need a weapon, imma get a pan."

Skylar yanked Alex as he was trying to retreat back into the kitchen, "were gonna open the door, Okay? And then we're gonna commence with operation 'get help' okay?" She told him while doing weird hand gestures.

"That's the plan?" Alex asked, "what does operation get hel-"

He was cut off as the door was aggressively opened. Skylar wasting no time slightly lifted a confused and screaming Alex shoving him towards the intruders, which can now be identified as hunter and Noah, making them all crash into each other and fall.

Noah who side stepped them a little but still tripped and fell, got up, "What the heck!? Skylar! What was that?!"

"Operation get help," she said shrugging.

"Operation get help? What?"

"Get help," she said with her eyebrows raised, "from Thor"

(End of flashback thingy)

"He's right," Noah said, "she wouldn't give up that easy."

Noah walked past the gaming room for the third time this day, checking in on Skylar who was determined to beat the level no matter how long it takes, which for her now was 724 tries.

"You should just give up," Noah said chuckling leaning towards the door frame, as he watched her face lose again making it 725 tries.

"Noah, no I am not giving up," she said eyes glued to the screen, "and if your gonna say it's just a game it's nothing serious, that's true, but dude if we just keep telling ourselves that even little thugs like this don't matter and that we should give up, one day we're gonna reach a point in where we see even the big things are not worth it anymore, we should never give up no matter how big or how small one thing is, after all you decide it's size. All I'm trying to say is if this dumb witch doesn't let me through I swear to god I'm gonna beat her to a-"

"Oh what wise words," Noah laughed.

She turned around giving him a smirk, "I know right, call me master oogway, hit you with those wise words."

"Master oogway?" Noah asked.

"Master oogway, Noah, Master oogway"

(End of flashback)

"She'll make it," Hunter whimpered to himself, "she has to."

"Hey hunter," she said as they both lay on the grass in the back of the mansion, since they were too tired of running away from Xavier.

"Hmm?" He replied, too tired to speak.

"You know I'm glad I met you, your actually a great friend," Skylar said, "lol ew too sappy but it's true."

A few minutes go by and hunter says nothing, confused Skylar turned her head towards him, not finishing him on the ground where he previously was.

"Gurl," hunter said from above her with tears in his eyes, "that's the
Dumbest thing anyone has every said to me, and I love it."

"Don't do it hunte-oomph" Skylar hit hunter who was now laying on top of her, "get *hit* off *hit* me"

"But I love yooooouuuu," he said dramatically avoiding her hits.

"Dumbazs"

(Flashback ended)

"Don't leave, not when I just found you again," Blake said tears still falling down his eyes.

"I'm glad I found you again," Skylar told him one day when they were alone, " I missed you a lot."

She left the room after she told him that giving him no time to reply cause she knew what he was gonna say, she knew him most, and he knew her most. They trusted each other.

(Flashback ended)

"If only," Xavier said lightly punching the wall.

"Hey hulk," Skylar said skipping into his office, while he was working, with no care.

"Please get out" Xavier said.

"Don't be like that," Skylar said, "take a break, come with me let's get cupcakes!"

"No"

"Okay how about this if I agree to go on a date with you, you'll get me cupcakes."

"How is that fair? Skylar I said no"

She kept trying to convince him to get out the office, he didn't, she tired herself out and slept on the couch. He stared at her and chuckled.
