A train was now running on the tracks through the badlands. On one of the cars was Angela and Bronx locked in cages. Along with Eliza, two cops, and Ms. Yale, who were taking them to an upstate facility.

"I still can't believe the Clan's gone." Angela said.

"They're alive." Eliza whispered.

"What?" Angela said shocked.

"It's a long story. I'll tell you—

"Maza! You're a policewoman, not an animal therapist." Ms. Yale said.

"Gargoyles are not animals. They're noble beings who happen to be far more evolved than we are. But you'll never see that as long as you're bent on prosecuting them to advance your career." Eliza said.

"Keep this up and you won't have a career." Ms. Yale threatened.

As the train drives on the track, the Quarrymen's helicopter flew over.

"There's the train. Your prey is aboard the second car. Do your duty, Quarrymen." Castaway said.

Soon the Quarrymen flew down on their jet packs to attack. Bronx senses danger and starts to growl and bark.

"What's wrong, Bronx?" Angela asked her friend.

"[scoffs] The beast probably wants something to chew on." Yale replied.

Then the roof of their car was exploded opened.

"We're under attack!" Eliza shouts as she pulls out her gun.

"Visual confirmation achieved. Vermin aboard." A Quarryman said as Eliza shoots back at them.

"Excellent, Alpha Squad. You know what comes next." Castaway said.

"Uh-oh. What's this? Multiple unidentified blips on my radar. They're on a beeline for the train." The pilot said.

"No! It couldn't be. What are you waiting for, alpha squad? Attack!" Castaway said.

Soon, the train gets fired by the Quarrymen. Both cops in the car got knocked out, while this happened, Angela and Bronx's cages got blasted open.

"These two are out cold. We're all lucky to still be breathing." Eliza said checking the cops.

"Heads up, alpha squad. Trouble is heading your way." Castaway warned his men.

"What is he talking about?" A Quarryman asked before he got attacked by Goliath, and with the clan and superheroes.

"Alpha squad's been taken down by a gargoyle and freak sneak attack. You're on, beta squad. I'm counting on you." Castaway said as another group of Quarrymen are released to attack.

"I don't know how you survived certain death, Goliath. But it doesn't matter now." Castaway said as he pressed a button on a remote.

The remote activated a bomb that explodes on a cliff, knocking giant boulders on the tracks. Castaway then jumps off his helicopter and heads to the head of the train.

Each of the heroes were now chasing after the train.

"We're on our way to the train!" Flash said as he and the speedsters run off to the train.

"Those who can fly will help the Gargoyles while we handle the train down here!" Sonic said.

"Sounds like a plan!" Draal said as he joins them on the moving train.

Drago, Goliath, Brooklyn, Lexington, Hudson, Supergirl, Doctor Strange, and the others fought off the Quarrymen.

"Oh no you don't!" Hudson said as he sliced a gun and attacks a Quarryman.

"Are those gargoyles?" A man passenger asked.

"I thought the gargoyles were dead." A woman passenger said.

"Look, they're taking on the quarrymen with those other warriors." The man said pointing.

Broadway, Claire, Jim, Toby, Draal, Blinky, Dictatious, AAARRRGGHH, Mr. Wolf,  Mr. Snake, Mrs. Webs, Mr. Shark, Mr. Piranha, Mr. Hyena, Flash, White Canary, Killer Frost, Vibe, Black Wolf,
Green Lantern, and Black Canary made their way on the train car.

"Broadway! You're alive!" Angela said in joy.

"We're all alive, Angela and we're taking you home." Broadway said as he hugs her.

"Not unless you want to add aiding and abetting to your crimes." Ms. Yale said.

"You're a true romantic, Ms. Yale." Eliza said sarcastically.

Back at the head of the train, the two conductors were working when Castaway showed up.

"I'll take over from here." Castaway said as he fired a net that traps the two.

Castaway then accelerates the train to go faster, causing the train to shake, scaring the passengers.

"The train's out of control. We'll all be killed!" A passenger screams.

"And away we go!" Castaway snickers. Everyone falls on the floor as the train goes to fast.

"Now what?" Yale exclaimed.

Ironhide, Gobber the Belch, Orgrim Doomhammer, Spider-Man, Venom, Doctor Strange, Mario, Luigi,
Yoshi, Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, Nya, and Green Arrow helped the Gargoyles deal with the Quarrymen.

"Look lads, the train." Hudson said pointing at the train as they see it goes faster.

"According to my scanner, it appears someone has accelerated the train to the higher speed than it's supposed to be." Zane said.

"Must be Castaway." Goliath said. They then fly after the train.

"After 'em!" A Quarryman shouts as they chase them.

Meanwhile, Broadway tries to stop the train with the emergency brake, but it doesn't work.

"Somebody must have shut down the emergency brakes. Angela and I will go up front and stop this thing." Broadway said.

"Why are you doing this? Both of you could just fly off. But you're staying— I don't understand." Ms. Yale said.

"I can explain it in two words. Gargoyles Protect." Eliza said.

Just as Broadway and Angela were about to go out, they got blasted back.

"Ha ha ha! Good shot!" A quarryman said.

"Take the others, Oliver and I will handle Castaway." Goliath said as he carried Oliver.

"We're on it!" Brooklyn said as they fly off.

Eliza and the other heroes were now healing Broadway and Angela who were unconscious. Other passengers were there as well.

"They both look pretty bad." Yale said.

"That blast did a number on them." Blinky said trying to help them.

"We all saw that last blast from our car. We don't know why the Quarrymen are attacking the train, but we'd like to help you." A man said.

"We saw what you were doing to save us. Thank you so much." A woman said as Frost cools their wounds.

"Let me have a look at these two. I'm a doctor." A old man said carrying his medical kit.

As for the Quarrymen, the others were finishing up dealing with them. Goliath and Oliver landed on the front to deal with Castaway. Oliver then saw up ahead giant rubble covering the train tracks. They jump in as Goliath got blasted. Castaway had a gun in his hands.

"I knew you gargoyles wouldn't let me down. Sacrificing yourselves trying to protect everyone on board." Castaway said.

"You would destroy all these innocent lives? For what? An ancient hatred?" Goliath said.

"Ha ha ha. I never intended to hurt them. How ironic that your last efforts to save lives shall end up costing them instead." Castaway said. He then blasted the controls.

"Nothing can stop us now!" Castaway said.

"Go ahead coward! Show me just what you feel about Gargoyles. Here's your big chance. Show me!" Goliath roared as he and Oliver punched his lights out. Green Arrow fires a bolo arrow tie up Castaway as they see the tracks destroyed.

"Barry, guys! There's rubble blocking the tracks up ahead!" Green Arrow said through comms.

"We need to get everyone off the train!" Blinky said.

"There isn't enough time!" Eliza said.

Flash then begins to think of a plan when he thought of one.

"We're gonna move the train." Flash said.

"How?" Aaarrgggh asked confused.

"We'll vibrate it. Draal, Pepé, Sonic, Shadow, and I will vibrate it fast enough that it can phase through the rubble." Flash said.

"WHAT?!" Everyone shouts in unison.

"Are you crazy?" Toby said.

"Can that even work?" Claire asked.

"We've done it before, heck, we even did it on a falling plane in the sky once." Sonic said.

"Okay, everyone grab a side of the train!" Flash said as Draal, Piranha, Shadow, and Sonic hold on a different side of the train.

"Goliath! You and the other Gargoyles clear out!" Hyena shouts.

Goliath then hands on in the train with Castaway as the other Gargoyles fly off the train.

Flash, Draal, Piranha, Shadow, and Sonic began to vibrate the entire train. That the molecules were in such a state, the entire train was now able to phase. As the train gets closer to the rubble, everyone braces for impact, but the train phases through the rubble as the train makes it through the rubble.

The train makes it through in one piece. Flash, Draal, Piranha, Sonic, and Shadow stopped phasing as they were all exhausted from using so much strength and stamina to phase. Everyone in the train cheers for them.

Supergirl and Ironhide together manages to slow down the train. Soon all the heroes jumped off the train to congratulate each other.

"Well done, all of you. I have never been as proud of this clan as I am this night." Goliath said. Bronx happy grunts at hearing this.

They then saw all the passengers come out cheering them instead of hating them.

"I sure like the sound of that." Hudson said.

"It has been a long time coming." Goliath said as he saw Eliza.

"Goliath."

"Eliza."

The two embraced each other in a hug as they show their love for each other. With the JL Heroes, Castaway and his Quarrymen were rounded up and arrested.

"And after personal witnessing the heroic efforts that saved the life of every man, woman, and child aboard this train, it is my duty—no—my privilege to announce the people's charges against these noble crea—these noble beings have been dropped." Ms. Yale said to the camera.

A few minutes later, the Gargoyles were now standing in front of the Waverider 2.0 as the heroes got ready to leave. Some of them saying goodbye.

"It was great to fight alongside you guys." Oliver said.

"And it was our honor to have you fight by our side." Goliath said.

"Take care, Hudson. You too, Bronx." Cisco said as Bronx licked his face.

"Same with you, lad." Hudson chuckled.

"You two take care of each other. Never let go." Jay said.

"We will." Broadway said holding Angela close.

"You sure we'll end up happy?" Angela asked.

"As long as you stay together, your love will be strong... just like ours." Nya said as Jay held her hand.

"Keep up with those inventions of yours, you're gonna do great things." Peter said.

"Thanks Spider-Man." Lexington said.

"See, I told you that you guys would be loved. Maybe get a bunch of chicks to fall in love with you, huh?" Sonic snickers.

"Shut up. *chuckles* you know, we could come along and help?" Brooklyn said.

"Thanks, but we got that covered. Besides, your world needs you guys. Even with Castaway and his Quarrymen locked away, there's still danger out there." Sonic said.

"I guess you're right." Brooklyn said. Sonic then handed Brooklyn a extrapolator.

"If you ever need us... use this to open a breach to our Earth." Sonic said.

"Thanks." Brooklyn said.

The Gargoyles and Eliza watched as the Waverider took off as they flew into a different universe.

"One thousand years ago, we lived in a world that understood our purpose. It was the Age of Gargoyles. Ten centuries later, we awoke to a world bent on our destruction. Somehow, we never lost hope—and today, we've come full circle. A new age has begun. And we live again." —Goliath.
