The Bad Guys with Diane and Princess end up on
Thanagar with all of the surviving heroes.

"What happened? Did we blow up? Is this heaven?" Piranha asked. They then saw a black dragon with a Mok'Nathal warrior on it. It was Neltharion and Rexxar.

"Welcome Bad Guys... glad you were able to make it." Neltharion said.

"Where are we?" Webs asked looking around.

"The planet Thanagar. Home of Hawkman and Hawkgirl." Rexxar said showing them around leading them to Hawkgirl.

"Good. You're here. Thanagar's not exactly around the corner but it's a second me and Hawkman. That big gun up there? The more... hawkish... Thangarains want to use the Phoenix cannon to destroy Earth. They think that will stop the Dark Multiverse from destroying our reality. Things are a real mess here but that gives us an opportunity to help the locals and win their trust. We need to hold off from attacking Earth until we figure out a way to stop Barbatos and his Dark Knights." Hawkgirl explained.

"They can't destroy Earth! Our families are still there!" Wolf said. Suddenly, a breach opened. Coming out of it were Vibe, Vortex, and Gypsy with the Bad Guys' families and parents including Thrash.

"Guys!" Wolf, Snake, Webs, Shark, and Piranha shout in unison. They run over and give their families a hug.

"How are you guys here?" Shark said hugging his mom and dad.

"The breaches found us and were able to breach us here." Monty said as he hugs Snake.

"Come, we have much to discuss." Neltharion said. They then lead them into the bar so everyone could talk.

"The Dark Knights we're smart enough to trick us into helping them turn Earth into conduit for a sucking reality into their Dark Multiverse. Man, I miss the days of just needing to clean clown make up off my fists." Nightwing said.

"Yeah, I can't believe we got tricked into helping them we got conned! Again! We're the suckers" Snake said.

"Whoa, whoa, hey, take it easy pal. It's not our fault." Wolf said.

"Is this place even safe? I never underestimate Batman including warp doppelgängers of him from other timelines." Aquaman said.

"We have met allied Batman from other timelines. These Dark Knights are something else." Martian Manhunter said.

"You're telling us, man." Shark said remembering Red Death, the Merciless, and the Batman Who Laughs.

"Remember, the oblivion bar isn't just an extradimensional pub with strict rules against battle between good and evil. More than that, it's probably the only place we can meet without worrying about the Dark Knights listening in. We need to discuss our option. It's mostly a choice between bad ones." Hawkgirl said.

"We must not given to hopelessness, Hawkgirl. Surely this is something that Justice League can overcome. Even Earth's villains have a greed to do other strength to ours." Martian Manhunter said.

"I hear you, J'onn, but Earth is sinking in to the Dark Multiverse, The Batman Who Laughs has Batman and Superman, Thanagar has a giant cannon at the planet, and the Dark Knights and their metal-infected armies are wrecking havoc. I don't see how this could get any worse." Hawkgirl said. Suddenly a Boom Tube opened up with the Batman Who Laughs with two of his Robins with him.

"That's an intro line of ever I heard one!" The Batman Who Laughs said.

"You!" Hawkgirl said in anger as everyone was ready to fight.

"What have you done to Batman you twisted freak?" Nightwing asked.

"Is there any way to greet the man who raised you? In another dimension at least. Ivan brought you a gift! Just be careful unwrapping it! Hahaha!" The Batman Who Laughs said as Batman's body was dropped on the floor. Suddenly the portal closed.

"You really know how to kill an exit, Murder Machine. Get me out of here." The Batman Who Laughs said as a Boom Tube reopens letting him escape.

"I will protect you!" Doctor Fate said as he used his powers. Everyone then began to fight the Dark Robins as Nightwing checks on Batman.

"Why bring Batman to us? Batman would never give up a tactical advance... But Batman with Joker's sense of humor... Huh! Found it! There's a bomb full of Joker toxin wired to him!" Nightwing said.

"Can you disarm it?" Hawkgirl asked.

"Probably. OUR Joker has used this trick or before. But if we try to move Batman it goes off same with if he flat lines and Gideon's telling me that his vitals are dangerously low." Nightwing said.

"Perhaps I can wake him up telepathically... No! The Batman Who Laughs has done something to his mind! I may be able to repair his consciousness, but I will need help. Let me know when you're ready and we can physically journey into is Batman's mind." Martian Manhunter said.

"Just hurry!" Rexxar said as he cuts down a Dark Robin. The Bad Guys then join J'onn as they go into Batman's mindscape. They were now in some twisted version of the Batcave.

"I sense that Batman experienced any terrors at the hands of the Dark Knights. Find his spirit in this representation of the Batcave. We must help Batman defeat his inner demons to wake him." Martian Manhunter said as they go into the cave.

They then saw the backstories of the Dark Knights, on how they became from a hero to a corrupted monster.

"Superman destroyed everyone on my world so I destroyed him!" Devastator said after he killed Superman.

"We finally defeat Ares and you would take his hard one helmet from me? I will use its power to end war!" The Merciless said as he strikes his Wonder Woman down.

"Beware my power... Dawnbreaker's might!" The Dawnbreaker said as he killed his parent's murderer.

"Hahahaha!" The Batman Who Laughs cackled as he killed his Justice League due to being infected by a virus after he killed Joker.

"Atlantis drowned Gotham, so I destroyed Atlantis and any who would oppose my justice." The Drowned said after she killed Aquawoman.

"In my world, I strapped the Flash to the hood of my Batmoblie and drove into the Speed Force. Gaining his powers made me a better, deadlier Batman." Red Death said after he got his powers.

"I lose my Alfred due to my humanity holding me back, so I erased my feelings to be better!" Murder Machine said after he killed his Gotham's rogues and Justice League.

"I lost my parents and was given powers to be a hero, but crime had to stopped. So I became a killer to crime!" The Stormkiller said as he killed his rogues and other heroes.

They were shocked to see how they all suffered. Instead of them resisting the darkness... they gave in the darkness. They realized what each of them were. Batman's greatest fears. They managed to destroy the demons reverting them back to normal. They then saw the one behind this all. Lord Barbatos the demon bat god over Batman who is in pain.

"I spent centuries preparing for you. I made you. And when the time is right, my coterie of followers broke the bat. Welcome to the dark, my son." Barbatos said looking down at Batman who is in pain.

Suddenly, Dark Robins came out crowing as they start to attack. The Bad Guys start fighting off these little monsters as they continue on to find Batman.

"You cannot escape your fate, Batman! You were destined to become what you fear most!" Barbatos said.

"It's becoming more difficult to maintain my concentration. If you fail to revive Batman, we'll be trapped here. This mindscape is the Batman Who Laughs' true trap!" Martian Manhunter said.

They then go into a room and see Joker killing Jason Todd, one of the Robins.

"No! I was responsible!" Batman said holding the crowbar.

"Yes! You put them in harm's way. Bar! Hahaha!" The Batman Who Laughs said. As Dark Robins and Barbatos came.

"You are all responsible for their suffering, Batman!" Barbatos said.

"Your a family is dead because of you, Batman!"

The Bad Guys fight them off as they continue to look for the real Batman.

"We have shots fired reported at the residence of Barbara Gordon. Units en route."

"No! Barbara!" Batman said. They then saw the Joker shoot Barbara making her paralyzed and raped her.

"One confirmed GSW. EMTs are on site."

"Why did you let him do this to me?" Barbara asked.

"I should have known. I failed to protect you." Batman said. The Bad Guys saw what pain he dealt with.

"Babs is right, Batman. If you'd just killed Joker, he couldn't have done this to her." The Batman Who Laughs said.

They then go to an alleyway to see when Batman's parents get killed. They then were replaced by Batman, Robin, and Talia.

"Choose your path, Damien. Who do you want to raise you? Father? Mother? What will you become?" The Batman Who Laughs said.

"This isn't right! Damien needs me!" Batman said as he begins to take control.

"No! Your road ends here!" Barbatos said. The League of Assassins then fought the Bad Guys. They were able to defeat the assassins with Batman helping.

Barbatos wasn't really here. He was just a projection of my own subconsciousness. This... it's all just a dark dream of my greatest fears. Damien needs me. Clark needs me. The world needs Batman! Thank you for helping me remember that." Batman said as he disappeared.

"You've done it! Batman is waking up and Nightwing has disarmed the Joker toxin bomb. We've moved your physical forms to a safe location. You won't remember any of this when you wake up, but I remember what you did today. When you're ready, I'll return you to your consciousness." J'onn said.

The Bad Guys exit the mindscape and head back to their bodies.

"Batman wants you guys to head to the Oan Sciencells: The Green Lantern Corps' intergalactic prison. He has some ideas about what the Dark Knights are up to... based on what he would do if in their position. Ugh, that thought still gives me a shutter." Chester said.

They then headed to Oan to see dark metal prisoners go through a portal. They saw the Dawnbreaker at work.

"With darkness Black, I took the light! No brightest day escapes my sight! I turned the dawn into midnight! Beware my power... Dawnbreaker's might!" The Dawnbreaker said saying his oath.

"Bring it on!" Shark said. Green Lantern, Kilowog with Bad Guys fight the Dawnbreaker as he creates more help.

"Uh oh. Dawnbreaker's using the pools of metal and his ring to create a hybrid construct! That's a deadly combination." Green Lantern said as the metal creates a giant monster.

The Bad Guys with the leaders of Lantern Corps helped them stop the Dawnbreaker and win the fight.

"Your efforts mean nothing. I got what I wanted. I always do. Batman always wins." The Dawnbreaker said as a Boom Tube opened and he escapes.

"Don't listen to him. We just shut down his a fly line to Thanagar." Hal said.

"I hacked the Dawnbreaker's computer link while he was distracted. Their next target is the Silent School of Atlantis. And no, this isn't some Track of the hours to Laura is there. We're done with that. That Lantern can take you to Atlantis on his way back to Thanagar." Terabyte said.

"Alright guys, looks like we're going to Atlantis." Wolf said as they go through the Lantern portal.
