Meghan's P.O.V

I pick up the letter that I had received early this morning, a small smile forming on my lips. I hear my cell mate, Helena, chuckle lightly.

"Boyfriend, I'm guessing?" Helena asks and I look over at her to see her laying on her bed with an arm under her head.

I roll my eyes playfully, looking back at the letter. "Yeah."

Dear Meghan,

Day 183. Your time is finally up. If you were here right now, you would be able to see the smile on my lips. I can't express how happy I am at this exact moment.

I don't want to make this letter too long like all my other letters that I have sent to you because I have to get ready to pick you up. I want to be the first person you see when you exit that place and nothing is going to stop me from doing just that.

I love you, my bad girl.

I can't help but let my smile grow as I fold the letter. I stand and walk over to my bed, placing the letter on my bed along with all of my other letters from Jake. I hear the officer bang her stick on the bars, catching my attention.

I look over my shoulder to see Officer Miller staring at me with a small grin. "Miss Brooks, I believe you have come to the end of the road in here." She says and I nod, a small laugh escaping my lips.

"Too early I believe." I hear Helena comment, earning a roll of the eyes from Officer Miller.

"Helena, I would shut my mouth if I were you. Your sentencing is tomorrow and you better be on your best behavior." Officer Miller says with a smug grin.

Helena scoffs. "I have been waiting two years for that damn day and have been on my best behavior. What the hell are you on about?" Helena asks, raising her eyebrow.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. You made thirteen shanks during your time in here and used one on an inmate in the next block." Officer Miller says and Helena rolls her eyes.

"Actually, I threatened to use it. Besides, that bitch doesn't know when to shut her mouth so I say that whoever attacked her should come and give me a high-five because she deserved it." Helena says with a smirk. Officer Miller opens the cell and gestures for me to follow her out, ignoring Helena.

Before I leave though, I walk over to Helena and give her a small handshake. "Good luck with everything." I say and Helena gives me a wink.

"Same goes. You never know what can come flying your way on the outside." Helena says and I nod.

"Ill be cautious." I say and Helena nods.

"See you on the outside, Meg." Helena says and I nod once more before turning around and gathering my letters, placing them in a small box that Officer Miller gave to me when I first arrived here.

"Now this is not a hiding place for you weapons. This is where you put your possessions that are harmless. Letters, clothes, shampoo, etcetera." Officer Miller says and I nod.

"Or you can use it to make ninja stars like me to throw at people." I hear a voice say, making me look over my shoulder to see a girl with long, black hair and bright blue eyes. Tattoos cover her arms, and a spider web emerges from under her collar, making me smirk a little.

"Don't mind Helena. She is a pain in everyone's ass." Officer Miller says and Helena smirks at her.

"Not if you like me, which you do." Helena says with a wink, earning a roll of the eyes from Officer Miller.

"Trust me, I don't."

I can't help but chuckle at the memory. Helena has taught me a lot in here that I will never forget. I may call myself a bad girl but if you met Helena, you would just think of me as a wannabe.

Helena is a hardcore badass.

I lift the box in my arms and walk out of the cell. I send Helena a small smile and she throws me a smirk, saluting me. Officer Miller places a hand on my back, telling me silently to walk. As I do, I glance around at everyone who is throwing me looks, some good and some bad. But I don't care.

I'm getting out of here.

Suddenly, my mind goes to my little baby. Her birthday was a week ago and I wasn't there to wish her a happy third birthday. I wasn't there to give her a kiss or to sing her a song like I do every birthday. I wasn't there to hold her hand in mine and tell her love her.

I wasn't there.

But that doesn't matter because everyday I get to show that girl how much she means to me. How much I love her and how much I care. Charlie is my world.

When Officer Miller and I pass through a door, I can't help but grin. I'm nearly there; freedom.

Officer Miller swipes her card, the door opening. She turns to me with a smile. "Good luck, Miss Brooks. Let's hope that you don't find yourself back here."

I laugh at her words. "Oh please, I wouldn't mind coming back here at all. This is like a second home to me." I joke and Officer Miller rolls her eyes.

"Six months and you call this 'home'. I've been here six years and I hate this place." Officer Miller says, earning a smile from me.

"Get used to it." I say and Officer Miller chuckles.

"Goodbye, Miss Brooks." Officer Miller says and I nod, walking out the door. Once I feel the breeze hit my face, I let out a laugh.

I'm free.

Suddenly, the gates that lead me to the outside world begin to open and I smile, holding the box close to my chest. I begin to walk towards it and when I exit, a familiar car comes into my sight.

Jake is leaning against the door, his arms crossed over his chest as he grins at me.

And I notice a little brunette standing beside him, looking at me with a small smile on her face.

Before I can even blink, I feel my legs running towards Charlie but before I attack her into a hug, I drop the box by my feet and raise Charlie into my arms. Feeling the tears begin to run down my face, I hug Charlie tighter, making sure not to hurt her.

"Damn, I've missed you." I mutter to my little girl, looking at her smiling face. Her bright green eyes stare back at me and before I can even react, I hear her voice.

"I love you, mommy."

Biting down on my lip, the tears finally fall as I hug Charlie again. No words can describe how much Charlie means to me. If I had to take a bullet for my baby girl, I'd do it in a heartbeat, without a question.

Realising that Jake is also here, I smile and let Charlie down, not wanting her to get hurt in the hug that's about to come. Suddenly, taking him by surprise, I attack him with a hug, not caring if I'm practically breaking bones in his body.

"Woah, have you gotten stronger or what?" Jake breathes out as I squeeze him tight. I let go of him and look at what he is wearing, a smirk forming on my lips.

"You and your sweaters." I say and Jake smiles proudly.

"Your good boy at his finest." Jake says and I roll my eyes, attacking him into another hug. Jake laughs, kissing the top of my head.

"I've missed you so much." Jake mumbles and I look up at him and place a gentle kiss on his lips.

"Likewise." I mumble and Jake smiles, his hands going to my hips and leaving them there. I wrap my arms around his neck, smiling brightly at him.

"I fucking love you."

"And I f-ing love you too." Jake says, not wanting to swear. I chuckle and roll my eyes, kissing him again. But before I forget, Charlie is down by my feet, staring at my boyfriend and I.

Grinning, I pick Charlie up and kiss her forehead, not wanting to let her miss out on the love. Jake smiles at the two of us and wraps an arm around my waist, resting his head on mine.

As cliché as this turned out to be, I don't regret a thing. You know why?

Because Jake is my good boy and I'm his bad girl.

And no one is going to tell us otherwise.

A/N - OH MY GOD, this is the end of 'The Bad Girl'. If I'm correct, it has taken me eight months, from day one, to finish this book and to be honest, I'm quite proud of myself. Eight long months with many stressful writers block situations, all-nighters, and complications with uploads, and we finally made it! Wow, I think I'm going to cry... But seriously, thank you to every single one of you who never gave up on me while I was writing this and loved every chapter that I had uploaded for you guys. Without you guys voting and comment, I probably would've ditched this book and deleted it but I didn't, which I am very happy of. I don't know if I'll be doing a sequel or a spin-off about Charlie but if I do, I'll definitely update you guys straight away. Anyway, hopefully I'll see you all soon! I love you all so much!
