Melissa's POV

I was here having dinner with my family when something caught my eye. There they were. My boyfriend and Shikira in a dinner date. Is he cheating on me? Ok the can't be. I thought. I'll talk to him but first I have to confront Shikira.

~THE NEXT MORNING~

Shikira's POV

After practice, Melissa took me to the locker room.

' So what do you want to talk about?' I asked. When she faced me, her face turned angry and she slapped me across my face.

' What was that for?!' I asked getting up and glaring at her.

' Stay away from my boyfriend!' she shouted and walked away like nothing happened.

Tears formed in my eyes and I called Tyler.

Ty: Hello?

Kira: Hey Tyler

Ty: What's wrong?

Kira: Melissa

Ty: Melissa? What did she do

Kira: She found out about the date and she slapped me

Ty: I'll talk to her

Kira: Thanks you're the best

Ty: Thanks bye

Kira: Bye

After talking to him, it was getting late so I walked home.

Tyler's POV

How dare she touch her! I know she's overprotective but this has gone to far. I made up my mind and called Melissa.

Mel: Hello?

Ty: Melissa

Mel: Oh hey Tyler

Ty: Don't hey Tyler me. What you did was uncalled for.

Mel: What did I do?

Ty: Why did you slap her?!

Mel: She deserved it

Ty: She doesn't. She was hurt at that time

Mel: I don't care. She was trying to take you away from me!

Ty: She's not! You know what? We're over! And if you EVER touch her again, you'll here from me.

I hung up and went to bed. The next morning I went to school and immediately looked for Shikira. She was in the school yard talking to Anastasia.

' Hey girls' I said walking up to them.

' Hey' they said in union.

' Um can I talk to you?' I asked turning to Shikira. Anastasia walked away to give us privacy.

' So...' Shikira trailed off.

' I have something to talk about' we both said. I signaled her to start first.

' About yesterday-' she started but I cut her off.

' Don't worry about it' I reassured.

' No I want to apologise. I never should have come between you guys'

' Hey it's not your fault. She overreacted with you' I replied.

' B-But I was wrong' she agrued.

' Shikira as I said it's not your fault. She's the one who overreacted and I took care of that already'

' What do you mean?' she asked furrowing her eyebrows.

' I broke up with her' I confessed. She seemed schooled by what I said.

' Why' she asked.

' Cause she doesn't deserve to be my girlfriend' I replied.

' Oh Ok' she said feeling guilty.

' Hey it's okay. Why don't you come sleep at my place?'

' Okay let me just text my mum' she replied.

When she finished, we walked to my house.
