Abigail's POV:
It's Tuesday morning in first period and all I've done this weekend was hang out with Courtney and Adam because they were trying to get my mind off of him.

The rest of the day Friday we didn't talk. I caught him staring at me more than once though. I think it was just jealousy I was feeling when I found out what he had done. Either that or I was worried, probably both honestly.

I should apologize, I didn't even give him a chance to explain. I'm the type of girl to hear both sides so I don't know what was with me Friday.

I see the perfect moment to talk to Noah so I take the chance and walk up to him.

"Hey." I said to his back. He turned around from in his locker and at the sight of seeing me his lip tugged up a little.

"Hey." He said back with a little wave. We stood there awkwardly until I finally spoke up again.

"I'm sorry for not giving you a chance to explain." I told him while looking at the bruises and cuts that are healing on his face.

"It's alright, I would've done the same thing. I could've at least told you what I had to do though so I should be the one apologizing." He said to me with a slight shrug.

I looked at him shocked. "Okay you're wrong but I'm gonna let it go. Wanna talk at lunch?" I asked.

"Sure." He closed his locker and locked it when the bell rand. I started to walk away.

"You know where to find me." I said to him without looking and walked inside my class since it was right next to his set of lockers.

I was half expecting Noah to know where I was talking about this morning so it came to me as a little shock that he came to the bookshelf in the library durning lunch.

"I'm gonna get right to the point." Noah said after sitting down and taking some of my chips. I pack my own lunch. "Don't run off okay?" He looked straight into my eyes.

"Okay." I drug out the 'o' and 'a' a little.

He took a deep breath. "I like you, I really do and not like a hook up one night stand kind of like, although I wouldn't mind." I smack his arm. "Okay okay! But seriously I like you more than that and that's why I kissed you at your house because I couldn't hold back anymore.

"I've been missing out of gang meetings and fights to spend time with you and they've barley won without me so I had to go this time.

"If I didn't they'd probably be in the hospital but just believe me when I say that I really wanted to talk to you Friday. I just couldn't." He looks down at his lap.

"Why do y'all fight?" Is the only thing I care to ask about right now because he seemed really injured Friday.

He took another long breath. I mentally prepared myself. "All of our families aren't rich and can't afford college. Except Jacob and his family.

"When we win we get paid a good bit. Most of it gets split between Austin, Chandler, and I to go to our college funds. Some of it still goes to Jacob but he lets us have most of it.

"We're all honestly ready for college so if we don't get a scholarship we have the fighting money. We promised each other if we did get a scholarship then we'd have to start a boxing business with our portion of the money."

"That's super cool of you guys. I feel like crap now, like, what is wrong with me?" I said looking at my food.

"Can I ask you something?" He sounded different then a minute ago so I look up at him with one eyebrow raised.

"Um, sure." I said, unsure.

"I don't know what or how you feel towards me but I'm just gonna go for it." He paused. "Will you be my girlfriend and go on a date with me?"

Is it sad I didn't have to think about this much?

"Yes, I will." He looked like he was about to jump up and down. He got up and stretched from sitting uncomfortably.

"I'll pick you up at 7." He winks and was about to leave but I stop him.

"Um, Noah?" He turns towards me.

"Yes, beautiful?" I blush at the name.

"It's Tuesday." He whole face changes and I kinda feel bad for mentioning it to him.

"Well crap." I chuckle and get up.

"Maybe you're a little too excited for this?" We are now on the open side of the bookshelf and the bell signaling lunch is over rang.

"You're not?" He questioned.

I laughed again and on his chest twice, blush, then turn towards the library doors. "See you later Noah." I wave at him without looking back.

I seem to be doing this a lot, talking while walking away without looking. I don't hear him move but I keep walking.

Hearing him just stand there silently, for some reason, gives me a boost of confidence. When I get to the doors I look back at him, and seeing he's still there, I wink and walk to my next period. I feel so bad!

I'm in the car now with Courtney driving and Adam in the back. "You will never guess what happened to me today." I say while flipping through stations.

They both say what. "Noah asked me to be his girlfriend and to go on a date with him." I say nonchalantly.

Courtney slams on breaks and cars swerve around us. My eyes go wide at the fact that she almost killed me and I haven't been on my first date yet! "Courtney I almost died and I haven't been on my first date yet!" I yell at her, speaking my thoughts.

"Oh my gosh you're right I'm so sorry! Omgomgomg, I almost just killed you and you haven't even been on that date with Noah that you DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME ABOUT UNTIL NOW!" She literally screamed the last part at me.

"I'm so proud of you Abs!" Adam high fives me and rushes Courtney to get the car going again.

"Yeah me too! That's awesome! When's the date?" She starts driving again.

I tell them about what happened before I left and my boost of confidence. By the time I'm finished we're at her house and she squeals.

Here we go, she's gonna be fangirl-ing for a month now.
