Chapter 14: Boyfriends?

Third POV

(imagine being gone for months again)

A mate. Someone you could love for the rest of your life. Jungkook as a kid was so excited to have a mate. Someone who would love you for the rest of your life. Now he thinks he might have met him.

Taehyung, of course, hasn't flat out said: "You are my mate." But he has a hunch now. With the way Taehyung and Lynx acts. Then again he won't know for sure till his eighteenth birthday.

"Alpha Taehyung as your mate?" Jimin asks incredulously. They were currently laying down on Jungkook's bed bored out of their minds.

"Yes," Jungkook replied annoyed that Jimin was so shocked. 

"You are turning into one of his followers," Jimin says rolling his eyes. Jimin was in full support of his best friend having a crush on the alpha but he didn't want to see him turn into those lovesick girls Taehyung has.

"No, I'm not," Jungkook scoffed.

"Is this crush going to turn out like your crush on Hoseok?" JImin teases.

"No, it's not," Jungkook pouted, "He actually asked me out on a date today."

"No," Jimin gasped dramatically before he fell over laughing.

"Do you not believe me?" Jungkook pouted.

"Sorry hun," Jimin laughed, "It's not really believable that the Kim Taehyung asked you out on a date if you are not his mate."

"But what if I am," Jungkook huffed in frustration.

"If you are, I will make out with Yoongi," Jimin declared.

"You would do that anyway," Jungkook rolled his eyes. Jimin nodded his head while his eyes shined. They were then interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Baby," Taehyung said through the door, "Don't forget about tonight and remember to meet me at the door at six."

"Okay hyungie," Jungkook replied with a large smile as he stared at Jimin who had his mouth wide open in shock.

"See you then bun," Taehyung says before leaving.

"You whore," Jimin screamed before tackling Jungkook. They landed on the floor and rolled with both boys groaning upon impact. "I can't believe you have a date with him and he called you baby."

"He's been doing that lately and I don't know how to feel about that," Jungkook laughs as he sits up with a blush on his face.

"I know you want him to eat you out," Jimin declared.

"Shut up," Jungkook yelled throwing the nearest object at him which happened to be a pillow.

"Well it is four right now so we have two hours to make you all cute and stuff," Jimin declared as he stood up and stormed into Jungkook's closet.

"Okay," Jungkook groaned.

After hours of getting ready, they were finally finished.

"Jimin," Jungkook says as he stared at himself in the mirror, "Why did you spend hours of getting me ready when all it looks like is that I'm wearing is a sweatshirt."

"Oh honey," Jimin sighed, "Look it's the small things that matter. Like your earring, your hair, and your makeup."

"Taehyung isn't going to notice that stuff. I could have saved time and just put on this sweater."

"But you look so pretty," Jimin frowns. Jungkook smiles and attacks Jimin in a hug.

"Thank you for all your help," Jungkook says in his ear.

Jimin giggles, "Go get that hunky alpha." Jungkook squeals as Jimin pinches his butt before running out of the room. He walks down the hallway when he sees his brother.

"Hi Yoonie," Jungkook greets and continues to walk.

"Hey, wait where are you heading off to?" Yoongi asks.

"I'm going out with Taehyungie," Jungkook replies not stopping.

"Okay be safe," Yoongi yells as he walks away. He wonders what Taehyung has in mind for his little brother. He shakes his head and continues walking to his room.

Meanwhile, Taehyung is waiting for the boy at the front door. He moves up and down on the ball of his feet in nervousness. He shrugs this off. An alpha shouldn't be nervous.

Yes, you should. Atlas his wolf says to him. He's so pretty. He makes my heart go boom boom.

Shut up.

Don't act like when you see his face you don't wanna attack him with kitthes.

Why are you acting so soft?

Like I said he is so pretty.

Before Taehyung could argue with his wolf, even more, he is interrupted by his favorite boy.

"Hi," Jungkook whispered shyly. He smiled at the pretty boy in front of him.

"You ready baby?" Taehyung asked holding his hand out. Jungkook nodded and shyly grabbed the other's hand as Taehyung led him to the truck. As they climbed in Jungkook couldn't help but wonder what they were going to do.

"Where are we going?" Jungkook asked as he looked over at the Alpha.

Was Taehyung going to take him to fancy restaurant? He didn't want that happening. He finds that location way too stressful. Were they going to a movie? That also didn't appeal since he wanted to talk to him. As he let his thoughts wonder he didn't realize that they had arrived at their destination.

He looked out and saw they were at the diner where he got stood up by Hoseok. He recalled Taehyung coming to his rescue and smiled at the memory. They walked into the diner hand in hand and took their seats.

"What do you want to eat?" Taehyung asked looking through the menu.

"I want a cheeseburger and a milkshake," Jungkook announced looking up from the menu.

"Of course," Taehyung laughed, "You have a sweet tooth."

"That is true," Jungkook laughed as well. They continued talking and before they knew it the waiter walked over.

"Hi, what can I get you?" he asked. Jungkook looked up and was shocked to see a cute boy looking at him. But he's not as cute as Taehyung.

"We'll take two cheeseburgers and a strawberry banana milkshake with two straws," Taehyung said interrupting Jungkook's thoughts. The waiter nodded and took down their order before walking away. Jungkook looked down with a frown on his face. He then felt a finger lifting his chin so that he was making eye contact with the man in front of him.

"I don't want you looking at anyone but me," Taehyung whispered huskily. Jungkook's eyes widened as his face heated up. He was so close. He could see every handsome feature on Taehyung's face and he felt his heart beating ten times faster.

"Okay, baby," he continued. Jungkook nodded as he licked his lips in nervousness. He watched Taehyung's eyes darkened as he stared at his lips. Their moment was soon interrupted once again by someone clearing their throat.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but here is your food," the same waiter said placing the food down on the table. Jungkook pulled away red-faced.

"Thank you," Jungkook muttered as the waiter walked away. Taehyung smirked as he picked up a fry and ate it. This is how the rest of their meal continued. Taehyung sending flirty remarks and Jungkook becoming flustered from this.

Soon they were sitting in the truck once again. Jungkook wondered if they were going to head back now or if Taehyung had other plans. He looked around as he saw Taehyung had pulled into a forest.

"Where are we going?" Jungkook asked turning to look at the other.

"We are going to watch a movie at a drive-in movie," Taehyung answered turning into a semi-full parking lot. Jungkook squealed as he looked around. He's heard about this in movies and books but now he gets to experience it. 

"What movie is playing?" Jungkook asked when Taehyung parked the truck.

"An old romance movie from the 50s," he answered as he got out of the car. "Come on I set up blankets in the trunk." Jungkook's eyes widened and he got out and joined the other in the trunk.

Jungkook laid down next to Taehyung and stared up at the large sheet in amazement. Taehyung looked over with a smile on his face as Jungkook's eyes shone in excitement. He swears his eyes held the galaxies.

(Googie is the goodest boy out there)

"Hey baby," Taehyung whispered as Jungkook turned to look at him.

(HAHAHAHA)

Before Jungkook could ask any questions he felt a pair of soft lips against his. His eyes widened at the contact before leaning in accepting his warmth. Taehyung crawled over on top of the other caging his head with his arms. The kiss got rougher when Taehyung licked the younger's bottom lip signaling Jungkook to open his mouth. As soon as he did Taehyung dove in eliciting a small whimper from the younger. The omega in the boy wanted to please his alpha as he barred his neck to the other.

Taehyung's eyes darkened as he growled. He attacked the younger's neck swirling his tongue and biting his tender skin leaving red and purple marks all over to stake his claim.

"Wait, Hyungie," Jungkook whined pushing the older off of him. Taehyung pulled away, his eyes still dark as he licked his lips.

Before Jungkook could say something Taehyung interrupted him, "Will you be my boyfriend?"

Jungkook's eyes widened as he gasped. He's dreamed of this day for the past month and it happened. It felt so surreal and everything was happening so fast.

"What about your mate?" Jungkook questioned with curious eyes. He felt like Taehyung could have been cheating on his mate by doing this and it felt wrong.

"Jungkook," Taehyung whispered, "You are my mate."
