Chapter 12: Will you go with me?

Third POV

It was time. The week every basic high schooler looked forward to. Well besides prom.

The winter formal.

The dance was on Saturday meaning everyone was rushing to get dates, dresses, and suits. Oh what a busy week for everyone.

"Are you excited?" Jimin asked happily while he was scrolling through his phone looking for an outfit.

"We don't even have dates," Jungkook sighs leaning against his locker.

"So what?" Jimin laughed, "A certain boy has been doting on you since your accident."

Jungkook scoffed, "Taehyung's only acting that way because I explained to him what had happened to me."

It had been two weeks since Jungkook's attack had occurred. He's thankfully gotten over it due to the help of Taehyung, who basically won't leave him alone. Not that Jungkook minds. The pack had praised Taehyung thinking he was being a good Alpha by taking care of the injured, but that was not what Jimin thought.

He pushed himself off his locker and started walking to his biology class.

"Oh please," Jimin giggled, "Everyone can see that boy has a big ass crush on you."

"I have a big fat crush on Cha Eunwoo," Jungkook states with his head held up high.

"He's an idol," Jimin laughs.

"But I bet he'd fuck me real good," Jungkook whispers.

"The test we are going to have next period will fuck you good too," Jimin reminded.

"Fuck."

The lunch rang and herds of teenagers ran out of their classes to be the first in line. Jungkook rolled his eyes as Jimin was babbling to him about how annoying one of his teachers were.

"I want to glue her mouth shut," Jimin groans.

"Good luck with that," Jungkook laughs as they linked arms so they could walk into the cafeteria together. When they entered they saw their normal group sitting down with a new member. His brother.

After the attack, Yoongi has also been on the edge. He's always got like this since he blames himself for Jungkook being kidnapped when he was younger. He needs to be with his brother whenever he needs someone's hand to hold.

They both sat down and greeted everyone with a small hello.

"Are you hungry?" Yoongi asks as he was munching on some chips.

"Kind of," Jungkook shrugs.

"I'll get some food for you," Mingyu states as he stood up.

"Don't worry about it," a voice interrupts him. Jungkook looks behind him and sees Taehyung holding two trays of food. Mingyu nods and sits back down as Taehyung sits next to Jungkook thanks to wingman Jimin scooting over for him.

"Thank you," Jungkook grinned as Taehyung handed him a tray.

"Why don't you feed him while you are at it," Jae teases as he's eating an apple. Jungkook's face turns a couple of shades darker as Taehyung chuckles.

"Only if he wants me today," Taehyung winks.

"Okay!" Yoongi exclaims before changing the subject, "I heard there is a dance this weekend." Jungkook thanks his brother in his head because now he doesn't need to respond to the flirty male.

"Jimin and I are planning on going," Jungkook announces and Jimin nods quickly.

"Who are your dates?" Felix asks.

"We don't have any just yet," Jimin answers digging into his food. Jungkook nods and looks down at his food. He picks up a carrot and begins eating.

"What a cute little bunny," Taehyung whispers into his ears causing Jungkook once again turn a bright shade of red.

"Jungkook are you choking?" Mingyu asks the red-faced boy.

"Chocking on that dic-" Jae didn't get to finish his sentence because Felix threw a carrot at him. "Rude."

As the group continued their conversation, Taehyung made sure to feed Jungkook. The younger also had to stay calm during this exchange which was proven quite difficult.

"Alpha Taehyung," a voice said interrupting them. Jungkook turned around and saw Seohyun standing there with her arms behind her back.

"Yes," Taehyung answered turning towards her.

"I was wondering," she paused, "If you would like to go to the winter formal with me?"

The group then became silent waiting for his response. Jungkook grew tense as he stared at Taehyung.

Say No. Lynx whispers in Jungkook's mind.

I can't stop him. Jungkook replied.

"I'm sorry but no," Taehyung answered.

"Why not?" she asked.

"I was planning on asking someone later today," Taehyung replied, "Have a good day Seohyun."

She huffed and walked away with her hips swaying. It was obvious she was annoyed. The group then turned their attention to Taehyung.

"Who are you asking?" Jae whispered.

"That's a secret."

Jungkook huffed as he entered the house. Everyone had left to basketball practice and Jimin was out with Jin shopping. Basically, he was lonely.

He was also feeling a little annoyed. He had no idea why though but after Taehyung had announced he was asking someone to the dance he was sad yet annoyed. He was planning on going but now he didn't feel like seeing Taehyung with somebody.

He ran up to his room hoping to get a nap in before dinner. He opened the door and was startled when he saw a figure sitting on his bed facing the wall. The person turned and he gasped when he saw who it was.

"Taehyung?" he asked, "I thought you had practice?"

"I told the coach I was sick and he sent me home," he answered getting off the bed. He started walking towards Jungkook with something hidden behind his back.

"Why are you here?" Jungkook questioned bewildered.

"I have a very important question to ask you," Taehyung stated as Jungkook nodded signaling for him to proceed.

"Will you go to the dance with me?" Taehyung asked as he presented flowers.
