Chapter 11: The Past

Third POV

Taehyung watched as a large deer ate grass in front of him. He could sense Jungkook hiding behind him and crept closer. He bent lower getting ready to pounce. He crept out from the bush and stalked to the prey. The deer heard him coming and lifted its head. As the deer was about to run Taehyung growled and jumped at it. His jaw widened as wrapped around its neck snapping it. The deer went limp and hung in Taehyung's mouth. He turned around to look if Jungkook was still behind him.

When he noticed the boy wasn't he dropped the dear onto the floor. Then he heard an ear-piercing scream that made the birds fly out of the trees. He bolted towards the sound dodging trees and bushes with Jungkook being the only thing on his mind. He reached a clearing and saw a naked Jungkook surrounded by three men.

"Come on pretty Omega," one man said, "I'm going to use that body of yours."

Taehyung let out a loud growl alerting the men of his presence. They turned towards him and went into a fighting stance.

"Back off pup I found him first," one of the rogues threatened. This made Taehyung even angrier. He charged at him aiming for his neck like he did the dear. The man thrashed his arms trying to push him off while they laid on the floor. Taehyung tightened his hold snapping the man's neck. He then felt someone grabbing him so he let go and kicked the rogue with his hind legs. This sent the rogue flying because of his Alpha strength. He slashed his face using his paws and slammed his head into a nearby tree. There was only one left. Taehyung let out a loud growl before charging and proceeding to do the same as the first rogue. Snapping his neck.

He panted as he tossed the dead body to the side and looked for Jungkook. Jungkook was laying on the forest floor passed out. Taehyung immediately shifted and ran towards him. He carefully lifted him up bridal style and began to run back to the house.

Once they arrived, he noticed no one had gotten back from the hunt. He entered the house and saw Jin sitting on the couch watching the television.

"Oh you're back early," Jin laughed turning it off before turning towards them. He let out a gasp when he saw the state they were in. They were both naked. Taehyung bloody and panting and Jungkook passed out with bruises all over him.

"What happened?" Jin asked running to them.

"He was attacked by rogues," Taehyung answers.

"Follow me," Jin demanded as he walked to the "hospital" area of the house. Jin opened the door and allowed Taehyung to place Jungkook on the bed. Taehyung growled as he finally took in what the boy looked like in the light. He had bruises all over his torso and multiple hickeys on his neck which pissed him off.

"Go wash up while I tend to his wounds," Jin says putting on his gloves. Taehyung nodded and walked out of the room. He would have stayed but it would have been alarming to have a pack member see their future Alpha naked and bloody.

Meanwhile, Jin alerted the others of what happened to Jungkook and everyone rushed back to the house. They entered the room and saw Jungkook sleeping under some blankets and his face completely unharmed. The only thing not harmed during the attack.

"What are his injuries?" Yoongi asked worriedly.

"Let me show you," Jin sighed, he walked over and lifted up the blankets revealing his bruised body.

"I'm going to kill them," Yoongi growled.

"Too late," Jin says covering Jungkook again, "Alpha Taehyung already did."

"Where is he?" Jimin questioned still staring at the younger.

"I told him to freshen up because he covered in blood."

"I can't believe I made Jungkook do this," Jimin cries out as he sits down in a chair.

"Jimin--," Yoongi begins.

"He hates hunting, he's scared of being alone, he's scared of the dark and the forest. He had to deal with this all night."

"You didn't make him Jimin," Namjoon says walking over to him to comfort him as Taehyung enters the room quietly.

"We all know what happened to him," Jin says, "Physically he's going to be fine, mentally let's just hope he's strong enough to let this pass."

"What happened to him?" Taehyung asked from the corner of the room.

"It's not our story to tell," Yoongi answers, "You should ask him when he is comfortable." Taehyung nodded and continued to stare at the boy in bed.

Jungkook woke up to his body hurting all over. When he opened his eyes he was blinded by the sunlight coming through the window on his right. He looked around the room and saw Taehyung sleeping on the chair next to him.

Jungkook let out a groan that alerted Taehyung as he opened his eyes. Taehyung immediately stood up and walked over to the boy.

"Do you need anything?" Taehyung asked.

"Water please," Jungkook replied sitting up in bed.

"I'll get it," Jin stated from the corner of the room. Jungkook's eyes widened when he noticed the man was in the room. Jin walked out of the room as Taehyung pulled the chair closer to the bed and sat down.

"How are you feeling?" Taehyung asked.

"Wierd," Jungkook answered honestly. Any sudden movement would send a jolt of sharp pain to his abdomen.

"If you don't mind me asking," Taehyung began, "What happened to you in the past? The hyungs were talking about it."

11 Years Ago

A six-year-old Jungkook happily ran around the house. He was being chased by a group of kids his age as they were playing a game. He quickly hid behind a couch hoping they wouldn't find him.

"Jungkookie," Yugyeom giggled looking around the room, "Come out." It wasn't unknown that Jungkook was very popular in school. He was very cute. His face screamed innocence and the way he acted drew everyone in. He had a bright personality and you could easily get lost in his eyes and smile.

"Where is Jungkook?" Yoongi asked coming out of the kitchen with Taehyung behind him. Yoongi was a bright eight years old. He was very protective over his little brother. All of the attention he got from boys at this age was alarming so Yoongi was always guarding him. Especially from his own friends.

"He's hiding," Jae answered sitting on the couch reading a book.

"Let's go on a run," Yoongi said walking towards the door.

"My parents are taking me to another pack for the weekend right now," Taehyung told Yoongi before running upstairs when Yoongi nodded. No one knew but the mighty soon-to-be alpha had a crush on his beta's little brother at the time. Maybe Jungkook just had everyone whipped for him.

"Let's go Jungkookie," Yoongi said walking out the door. Jungkook peeked out from behind the couch and ran after his brother. The boys yelled after him and he just giggled.

"We have to hurry okay," Yoongi informed him, "We have to back before the sun sets."

"Okay," Jungkook nodded, "Let's race!" As soon as those words left his mouth they bolted into the forest. Jungkook ran under branches and over bushes as he ran to the clearing. On the way, Jungkook noticed a hurt bunny. He stopped running and went to investigate the injured animal.

As he bent down he heard footsteps and assumed it was Yoongi.

"Yoon--," And then everything went black.

When Jungkook woke up, he looked around and all he saw was an empty forest. He then tried to move and but he couldn't. He looked down and saw he was tied to a tree.

"Hey there pretty," a voiced said in the dark. He whimpered as he saw a shadowed figure approach him. "You look scrumptious."

"S-stop," Jungkook whispered as the man got closer.

'We are going to have so much fun," he chuckled.

Three days. Jungkook spent three days in the forest being tortured by the man. He never touched him sexually though and Jungkook was thankful for that. The man had said he was waiting until the full moon.

At night, Jungkook was left alone tied to the tree. During the day Jungkook was tied to a chair inside a cabin nearby.

On the third day, his pack finally found him and killed the man. When Yoongi found him first he told him to hold his hand because he would always be safe if they did. When they returned Jungkook was never the same. Gone the bright boy who was a social butterfly. He refused to go out and stayed in his room with Yoongi at all times.

If he is alone, in the dark, or without someone he knew his breathing would speed up and he would have a panic attack. He also has recurring nightmares every week which results in him crawling into Yoongi's bed. He was traumatized.
