Chapter 10: Who was your gay awakening?

Third POV

Today was Jungkook's least favorite day of the year. Yet it happened to be everyone else's favorite.

The Hunting.

The pack splits off into teams and whoever gets the largest catch gets a special dessert made by Jin.

Don't get him wrong, Jungkook really wants dessert, but he hates hunting. He wasn't an animal, even though he is one. He hates killing the prey and he hates going into the forest at night.

"Jungkook!" Jin screams from the kitchen pulling Jungkook out of his thoughts. He immediately got off the couch and ran to the screaming male.

"What is it Jinnie?" Jungkook asked as he entered.

"Should I make sandwiches for everyone or will that go against the hunting thing?" Jin said putting his hands on his hip.

"You screamed for me for this?" Jungkook says exasperated.

"Yes headass now answer me," Jin rolled his eyes.

"No," he replied, "Just bring energy drinks or something."

"Thank you," Jin smiles, "You can go now."

Jungkook sighed, "You are so annoying." He slumped out of the kitchen and decided to get dressed for hunting since the sun was beginning to set. He walked up to his room and entered his closet.

He let out a "manly" scream when he saw a Jimin in his closet going through his clothes.

"Sup Kook," Jimin greeted turning around before proceeding to the task.

"What are you looking for?" Jungkook asked finally registering what was happening.

"Clothes obviously," Jimin says as Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"I notice that," Jungkook scoffs, "But what in particular are you looking for?"

"I need a sweatshirt for the hunt tonight," Jimin says grabbing Jungkook's red hoodie.

"Why?" Jungkook asks.

"I don't want my clothes to get ruined so I'm borrowing yours."

"I mean-- whatever," he sighs giving up on the conversation. He turns around and cannon balls onto his bed.

"Aren't you excited for the hunt?" Jimin asks putting the hoodie on and walking out of the closet. Jungkook shrugs in response.

"Ha, you just came out of the closet," Jungkook giggles.

"Funny, I've been out for years now," Jimin tsked. He ran towards the younger and jumped on top of him causing him to scream.

"GET OFF FATASS!" Jungkook yells pushing him to the side. Jimin laughs so hard he curls up into a ball. Jungkook rolls his eyes and starts poking at his sides which make him laugh harder.

"Who was your gay awakening?" Jungkook asks leaning back on to the bed.

"Easy," Jimin grins, "Your brother."

"First of all gross and really he was your first?" Jungkook didn't understand why everyone found his brother attractive.

"Yes, I knew I was in love when I met you," Jimin giggles looking Jungkook in the eye, "And Yoongi was behind you." Jungkook scoffed and hit Jimin in the face with a pillow.

"How about you Kookie?" Before Jungkook could answer his brother walked into the room with the one and only Taehyung.

"Hey what are you guys talking about?" Yoongi asks before running towards the bed. Jungkook's eyes widened as Yoongi jumped on top of him.

"No!" Jungkook yelled, "Why does this always happen to me?" Taehyung and Jimin laughed as Yoongi continued to lay on top of Jungkook forming a plus sign.

"I want to smother my little bro with love," Yoongi says cheekily.

"You are going to smother me to death!" Jungkook screams pushing him off.

"So what were you guys talking about?" Yoongi asks.

"Our gay awakening," Jimin answers.

"So who was yours?" Yoongi asks eyebrows furrowed because of the random topic.

"Zac Efron," Jimin answers quickly.

"That's not tru-," Jungkook tries to say before Jimin covers his mouth with his hand. He takes the opportunity to lick and laughs when Jimin pulls away in disgust.

"So Jungkookie who's yours?" Yoongi asks.

"It was-"

"Don't say Hoseok," Jimin interrupted. Jungkook sends him a quick death glare before proceeding.

"I wasn't" Jungkook deadpans, "Surprisingly it was Mingyu."

"Really?" Taehyung questions with an eyebrow raised.

"Yeah," Jungkook laughs," My kindergarten heart was swept when Mingyu gave me his apple juice."

"So that's all it takes," Taehyung chuckles, "Apple juice."

"And ice cream," Jungkook adds with a wink.

"Are they flirting?" Jimin whispers to Yoongi.

"If they are I'm going to kill Taehyung."

The sun had set and the pack gathered in the forest with lanterns in hand. The hunt was to begin in five minutes and Jungkook couldn't help but sulk. The only people allowed to skip out on the hunt were the pregnant and children.

"Are you ready Kookie?" Namjoon asked as he stretched his arms. Jimin was jumping up and down to warm up and Jin was just watching. He didn't have to participate because he was in charge of cooking the catch.

"Not really," Jungkook sighed cracking his neck and knuckles.

"Hey guys," Yoongi greeted with Taehyung and Hoseok trailing behind him. "Do you guys mind if I add Taehyung and Hoseok to our group?" The others nodded and Yoongi began a conversation with them as Jungkook was in his own world.

"Hi bunny," Taehyung greeted as he walked over to the younger.

"Hi Taehyungie," Jungkook replied with a smile.

"Are you excited?" Taehyung asked looking around at the pack.

"Kind of," Jungkook said shrugging his shoulders. Taehyung smiled and cleared his throat.

"We start in ten seconds," Taehyung commanded with his Alpha voice so everyone would be able to hear.

"Stick with me baby," Taehyung whispered and before Jungkook could respond Taehyung shifted. Taehyung let out a loud howl into the night alerting everyone the hunt had begun. Jungkook whimpered as everyone shifted tearing their clothes and running off into the night. Jin sighed as he left with others to grab clothes for those who didn't take off it beforehand.

Jungkook stripped quickly and threw his clothes towards a tree and shifted. He caught up with Taehyung and ran beside him.

You never let me out anymore. Lynx whined.

Because you are a pain

What is this? an attack towards your favorite wolf

Who says you are my favorite

Who else would it be?

Taehyung's

You've never spoken to his wolf

Maybe one day I will

You know what I will. Lynx scoffed

Jungkook turned to watch Taehyung's wolf form run beside him. His wolf was beautiful he had to admit. His dark brown coat looked even better in the moonlight.

Oh

Yes?

Nothing

Jungkook rolled his eyes focused on the task at hand. Taehyung had slowed down and crept behind a bush. Jungkook followed him and listened to the quiet of the night. He heard footsteps and Taehyung's ears perked up. Jungkook heard another set of leaves rustling behind him and followed it. He saw a deer and the deer saw him.

The deer began to run and Jungkook followed faster thinking Taehyung heard him run and went after him. He trailed the deer up to a clearing. He looked around and saw the deer had disappeared. He whimpered once he realized he was lost and his heart started beating faster. He shifted to human form and started panting.

He heard leaves rustling and assumed it was Taehyung but it wasn't. It was two men with bright red eyes. That meant they were rogues.

"Hey there pretty," One man chuckled, "Don't you look scrumptious standing there all naked for us huh."

Jungkook's heart began beating even quicker as his palms got sweaty, "Go away." Jungkook cursed at how weak he sounded. He hated what this fear did to him. He thought he was strong but not when it comes to this.

"Come on omega let's have some fun," the other grinned wickedly,

"Can't wait to breed you," the first chuckled rubbing his hands.

Jungkook let out an ear-piercing scream.

So let me explain why I was gone for so long

first i was so sick I missed school for the first time all year. second the year is wrapping up with ap tests and finals. btw i shed a tear in the middle of my ap test because i was trying to stop myself from coughing

positive note I got to see my boys at Rose Bowl and had floor seats AND LET ME TELL YOU
