Ivan's P.O.V.

I parked my bike at my spot and adjusting my cap, I walked inside the narrow street. I kept my bike keys inside my jeans pocket and reached the garage.

I entered the code and lit a cigar and waited for the door to open automatically. I entered and pressed the button, closing the door again. Sam, Harry, Parker and some more of my gang member were playing cards already.

I sat down on one chair with them and waited for them to finish their game. They're gambling. Sam is a star of gambling but that jerk always play dirty.

"Hey handsome", a very hot chick caught my attention.

"Hey beautiful. Who are you?", I asked as she walked towards me. I observed her from top to bottom.

"He's my gift. I win her today", Duke said winking.

"Lucky bastard", I said and that girl passed me a flirtious smile.

"Wanna have some time alone?", She asked and I smirked.

"I don't lay my hands on someone's gift. Sorry beautiful but you've to earn my time. You deserves him only", I said looking at Duke who smirked at me.

Ivan never break bro code, I thought.

"You'll regret it later, honey", she said and kept her hand on my shoulder.

"Leave. NOW", I said removing her hands from me and gave her a hard glare. She nervously gulped and walked away.

"And I won. Now, gimme the money ya all have", Sam cheered and everyone else groaned. He grinned and I threw my cigar on a side.

"Let's go guys. I don't have more time for your kid's games", I said and got up from my chair.

"But today, I'll go in the ring. I wanna win", Harry said.

"You wish", Parker chukled and I shook my head. We all came out of the garage and sat on our bikes and drove off to the hidden place where street fights happen.

Harry is the weakest amongst all of us. He had never won a single fight from past one year. Whatever he say but he had a soft heart inside which always stop him from beating the shit out of the opponent, be it our rivals.

Parking our bikes, we jumped off and walked inside the small house. From there, we entered underground where fight had already started. Our rival gang called The Bulls had already their team member in the ring who was beating a random guy. The area was filled with crowd and they're shouting like something. Nostalgia hits me hard.

"I'm feeling ticklish in my hands. We're gonna gain lot of money today", Harry said.

"You're not going near the ring. You'll end up injured", Ethan said. My gang had six members including me. Sam, Harry, Parker, Drake, Ethan and I.

The Bulls had ten members and I need to add four more members in my team to get the same power as them.

"Captain, I need to go", Harry yelled looking at Parker.

"No, you're not going", he said and I watched the match.

"I'll go", I said.

"But it's my chance today", Harry complained.

"Then wait for next time", I said and take off my shirt and walked to the ring.

"Hey. I want to have a match", I said entering the ring and said to the refree.

"Long time, no see", he commented.

"Then watch me properly", I said with a smirk. I heard crowd cheering loudly and girls shouting at top of their voice. Oh yeah, they do like what they see.

"We've a newbie now a days. He must be here. And he plays amazing. Wanna have a match with him?", The refree asked.

"Bring him on", I said and he nodded.

"Bring Joe", he said to a boy standing near the ring and I froze hearing the name.

Joe!! My Forest also had same name!!

I looked up and saw a boy coming towards me. He was shorter in height than me and was wearing a long sweatshirt and jeans. He had worn a cap and had black mask on his face.

I frowned and asked the refree. "Why is he hiding himself so much?".

"He's still in high school and don't want to reveal his identity", he told me and I nodded.

When the boy came and stand next to me, I looked at him carefully. He seems weak, I can totally make him on the ground in five seconds.

"You really have guts to stand in front of me kid", I said and he looked up in my eyes. I looked into his black eyes glaring at me.

Instead of saying anything, he show me his middle finger. I clenched my jaws and holds my fist in anger.

"You'll regret it", I said.

"We'll see", he replied and his eyes were shining.

The refree blow the whistle and the match started. I throw my fist to him which he doged in a simple flow. It had been a year for me to fight but still I know I can win.

I threw arms, legs and punches to him which he very cleanly dogded. He had a pace in his moves as if he's a regular player in this ring. When I threw a punch on his face, he holds my fist and immediately landed a leg on my stomach.

He turned my hand and jumped up in air and throw his elbow on my shoulder making me drop on my knees. But I didn't give up. As soon as he was on ground, I immediately kick his leg with mine, making him fall on his side and I covered him. I blocked his neck making it difficult for him to breath.

He tapped my hand twice signalling me for defeat and I left him. I got up holding my shoulder and stomach. He did give me some good punches.

"And the winner of today is Ivan", the refree said and the crowd cheered. My team were also shouting and the girl with Drake was giving me her dirty looks.

"You played well, J.. Joe", I said stammering at his name.

He didn't reply but left the ring. I ran after him not before holding my shirt in my hand. I saw The Bulls stopping him on his way. Oh no, I want him to be in my team.

I ran towards their side but he didn't talk to that gang and walked out. I followed him untill the street.

"Joe stop", I said and he stopped and turned towards me.

"Hey buddy. Come and join my team", I said.

"Not interested", he said. His voice seemed muffled as if he's chewing a gum.

"I'll pay you good", I offered him.

"It was you day so you won. I don't need you", he said and walked past me. I tried to stop him and because he was shorter than me, his hat somehow hit my hand and fall off.

My eyes came out of my eyeball as soon as the hat fall down. His black hair opened to his shoulder. He was not a boy.

The person in disguise of boy was actually a girl. She immediately turned to me and her eyes widened.

"You're a girl!!", I exclaimed.

She kept looking at me with her black eyes and started taking step back. I walked towards her and hold her hands.

"Who are you?", I asked. My heart said that she's my Joe. It stated that she's still alive. I've never seen her dead body. May be my Joe is alive.

"Leave me", she said. Her voice was fake. She was chewing a gum and that's why I mistook it.

"Are you my Forest?", I asked hopefully and she looked up into my eyes. Some realisation passed in her eyes.

I moved my hand to uncover that mask but before that she kicked my leg and ran away. I ran after her to catch her but saw her already leaving on a bike. Her cap was still in my hands.

I glanced at the cap carefully and my whole blood froze. This was my cap!! It had initially J.I. on it's back. Joe had gifted it to me but I gave it to her one day when she said that shes had a bad hair day and she never returned it to me after then.

My eyes was all blurred and I looked up to the place where she left. She was my Joe. She's alive. She was with me right now. I was holding her hand a few moment before. I even fought with her.

"Ivan", a voice broke my trance. I looked at my side and saw Parker running to me.

"What are you doing here?", He asked.

"I saw her", I told him happily.

"Who?", He asked.

"Joe. My Joe. She's alive. She's not dead", I said happily and hugged him.

I woke up next day and got ready for my trail but I was damn happy thinking about my Joe. She's alive. I'll prove it to the court that she's alive and I'll do my all best to search for her. It was the best day today.

I wore the same cap which Joe was wearing last night. This cap is lucky for me because it unites me with my Joe. Whistling, I came out of my room. Emma and Hazel were arranging dining table.

I saw Aiden, Hazel's baby playing with his toy sitting on the carpet. I, for the first time walked to him and picked him up in my embrace. He laughed at my acts.

I lifted him up in air and said, "Champ, I'm going to get my love back. Wish me luck". I spoke in a whisper because this small kid can't tell this to anyone else and there's no need for my family to know about it right now.

"What happen to you? How come you are playing with Adi?", Emma asked with an amused smile.

"Because I've got the biggest happiness of my life. My prayers are accepted and I found a very precious one back", I said and looked at Hazel. She smiled at me formally with her green brown eyes.

I made Adi sit on the carpet and walked to have my breakfast. A sleepy Troy came out of the room and walked towards the table. He kissed Emma's cheeks and sat down.

"When did you come?", I asked.

"Last night. We need to talk", he said sternly and I nodded. He must have seen me sneaking out of the house last night.

"What will you talk to him?", Emma asked.

"Uh, nothing important. Just something related to this trail thing", he spoke and I sighed. I know he saved me now but later he'll give me some good lecture.

Sighs!!

"Are you going for the trail alone?", Emma asked with concern in her voice and Mr. Ron came and sat by my side only then. He looked all fresh.

"What's going on?", He asked looking at me.

"Just some random family talks", I said and he looked pissed.

"Vena baby, please hurry up. After breakfast, we've to leave", he said and she nodded.

"Sure. Here's your favourite omelette", she said and served him. He kissed her hands and started eating.

Whatever happen, I'll never let him know that Joe is alive. He don't deserve her and I'll protect her.

"Where are you guys going?", Emma asked.

"We're going for a small family day out", Ron said and Hazel smiled.

I quickly finished my meal and walked out of my house. I take out my mobile and dialled my Lawyer, Mr. Gill's number. It was busy.

I entered the elevator and pressed the ground floor button. As soon as I walked out of the elevator, my mobile rang. It was from Mr. Gill.

"Hello", I said.

"Sir, good news", he said.

"Really, you too have good news. Tell me", I said and walked to my bike.

"The case has been cancelled by the court. The case had been withdrawn and now there's no need for you to come to any court. The court had proved you innocent", he said.

"What? Why? I mean what happened?", I asked. My heart was beating fast like a drum. I was aware of the possibility.

"Someone came and claimed that she's Miss. Joe Ashton and she also told that she was in coma from past two years but now she's fine and withdraw the case. Police is not telling us whole truth but as a result,the court had proved you innocent", he said and I sat down on my bike. I blinked my eyes several times who were blurred.

"Ok", I said and hung up.

Why did you hide from me for so long Joe? I loved you so much but you never appreciated me. I took a long deep breath. I know what I've to do now. I saw Ron, Hazel and Adi coming out of the building looking all happy and laughing.

Forest, I'll reach you soon and one day we'll have this family of ours too. I promise, I'm coming. Just wait for me.
