Oreoluwa sat on her bed and stared at  everything and nothing. She wasn't happy that her bitchy cousin was here but then there was nothing she could do.
She heard the door of her room creak open and she turned to the door and saw Toluwani come in, she sighed and sat up.

Hey baby girl" he said smiling a bit and I smiled back

Are you okay?" he asked as he made himself comfortable on my bed without my invitation

Yeah" I sighed
I'm good" even though, deep down, I was far from good.
He smiled and moved closer to me and started caressing my hair.

You'll be fine laslas" he said in his non-existent nigerian accent and I laughed a bit
Anything you want to tell me?" He asked again and I glared at him

Yeah, stop ruffling my hair like a puppy. I'm not a dog" I glared harder

But you're my dog baby" he said ruffling my hair the last time.
That's what not what you're supposed to say tho" he said as he lied down on my bed

Oh so what should I have said? Thank you?" I bit back sarcastically and he smiled back at me

You're welcome" he said sarcastically
But you know I love you right?" He said getting all serious.
Yeah,he does that sometimes and I still don't get why he would just say something like that out of the blues.

Yeah, and I love you too" I replied with an eye roll

Is there something I should know about?" He asked again and I nodded

Jola is my friend now and Jared practically asked me to stop talking to Jola. I find that weird tho" I said and he laughed

Awwwwww, my baby girl now has boy issues. I see you've grown" he said and started another round of laughter while I glared at him

what the fuck is the meaning of that?" I glared again and he frowned

Don't use the 'f' word on me, baby" he warned and I sighed looking at my fingers on my laps

But, I don't know what to do" I said lowly and he wrapped him hands around me

You'll be fine. Just follow your heart. Whatever you think goes" he said caressing my cheek gently and an idea came to my mind that made me smile

Can you help me pick this particle on my lip, please?" I used my puppy eyes on him and he obliged.

Ouch!!!!!" He helped when I bit his finger
Are you a fucking cannibal?" he yelled at me
Who the hell are you? cus you're not my sister" he said as he stood from my bed and I smiled

Yeah, I'm your sister. Just felt like bitting you, is there a crime in that?" I said looking innocent

You've gone crazy" he glared

Stop saying your sister has gone crazy" mum said as she opened my door
You're cooking dinner this evening" mum commanded and he almost started crying while I laughed

But mum, you know how much of a punishment that is" he batted his eyelashes at mum and she scoffed

That doesn't work on me, boy" she said and walked out.
It's not as if my big brother couldn't cook, infact he cooks well but he just hates cooking.
He turned and glared at me

I'm coming back for you" he said and walked out and I just shook my head.

I love my family!
