Tolani sat on Jola's bed, patiently waiting for him. She observed that Jola loves white. His room is like heaven, everything except his reading table and chair is white.
She was playing with her finger on her laps, nervously.
How did that small girl even know Romeo's hair and how did she quickly link her hair with his??

She suddenly felt pain surge in stomach and held her stomach and winced, trying not to groan aloud.

Suddenly, Jola entered the room and she quickly sat straight.

Mom said we should come eat but I want to talk to you." Jola said firmly as he sat on his reading chair, opposite her and Tolani became nervous again.

So, whats between you and Romeo?" Jola asked
He just thought about it when Jetemi mentioned it.
They looked so alike, more like twins,  how come he never saw that?

He is my brother." Tolani blurted out before she knew it and she quickly slapped her palm over her mouth.

Jola thought about it.
Brother? but they never really talked. Infact, he never thought of them having anything to do with each other. How come they are siblings now??
Everything just roamed around Jola's head.

Brother?? How??" Jola asked confused

He's my older brother with 10 months. My mum got pregnant with me a month after giving birth him." Tolani explained calmly
Don't ask me anything again because that's the most I can say." Tolani said pleading.

Its fine." Jola said to make her comfortable

Can I use your bathroom?" Tolani mumbled shyly
She felt something coming........ more like gushing out of her body. She was sure its not her period cause its not starting until tomorrow.

Yeah, of course." Jola nodded and she quickly rushed to the bathroom.
As Jola wanted to turn around, his eyes caught something and it widenned in surprise.
An oval shape blood stain from where Tolani just stood up from.
She's on her period!!!

Tolani was fidgetting in the bathroom, the whole of her underwears and skirt were stained.
That matress must not be stained, oh God, what will Jola even think of her?
She thought of what to do but nothing came to her mind. She thought of calling Jola but she changed her mind and gently sat on the toilet seat, careful not to make a noise. She was so nervous as she saw that the whole of her underwears and skirt are stained. She silently prayed that it didn't stain Jola's bed or what would he think of her?

Jola rushed to his mom's room and knocked on the door.

Come in." His mom hollered and he entered

Mum, can I borrow your sanitary towels, I need them urgently, please." Jola rushed out words and his mum looked at him in a weird way

Are you okay, darling?" His mum asked calmly, narrowing her eyes at her son.

Tolani is on her period, mum and she's stained." Jola said sighing and his mum's eyes widenned

Is she okay?" Jola's mum asked worried and Jola rolled his eyes

She's fine mum, I just sanitary towel." Jola said and his mum nodded and went to go bring it and made to follow him

No mum, I can handle it." Jola said smiling at his mum then immediately walked out of his mum's room.

When Jola got to his room, Tolani was still in the bathroom. He gently knocked on the door.

Tolani?" He called but there was no reply
Okay, I'll just drop what you need here and excuse you." He said again as he understood her silence and left the room quietly
