Jola led Tolani into his house and as he spotted his dad's car, he knew they are around.

Welcome boss." KC, their head bouncer greeted and he waved at him with a smile

Welcome Miss." KC greeted Tolani who in return knelt a bit to answer while Jola just shook his head.

He ushered Tolani in and saw his father in the sitting room and a smile spread across his face.

Dad." He called and his father turn to him with a full grin on his face

Heyyo, my boy, how are you doing?" Mr Ademi said as he fist bumped his son.

Dad, meet Tolani, my friend." Jola made sure to emphasis on the word friend.
Mr Ademi turned to a nervous Tolani.

Hi Miss Tolani." Mr Ademi started

Good afternoon sir." She knelt to greet him

Awwwnnnn, she's so adorable." Mr Ademi cooed and Jola shook his head while Tolani laughed muttering a 'thank you sir'.

Honey, is that Jolaoluwa?" Mrs Ademi yelled from the kitchen and Jola groaned.
In a matter of seconds, Mrs Ademi came running out of the kitchen and hugging her son.

My handsome boyfriend, how are you?" Mrs Ademi said as she hugged her son.

Tolani stared at the loving family. She wondered if Jola had any problem in the world. Her family is loving tho but they didn't know what she was going through behind closed door.

Oh hi, I'm sorry I didn't see you." Mrs Ademi released Jola finally noticing Tolani. Then realization hit Mrs Ademi before Tolani could reply.

Tolani looked flushed as she has been blushing while Mr Ademi just stared at his wife, amused.

Sorry boyfriend, I just had to let her know who your first wife is." Mrs Ademi smiled sheepishly

I just have to send Jola out of this house, I'm afraid that he'll take my wife from me." Mr Ademi said

That sounds about right." Tolani agreed smiling

Whatever." Mrs Ademi snickered then smiled at Tolani
Welcome to the family, my dear." Mrs Ademi said to Tolani and she smiled.

Thank you ma." Tolani replied

Suddenly, Jetemi ran in to the sitting room.

Mom!!!! I'm hungry!!!" Jetemi yelled, wailing and Mrs Ademi rolled her eyes at the drama queen.

Jetemi." Jola called softly and a smile broke out on her face when she saw her older brother.

Jay jay." Jetemi called excitedly as she ran into her brothers arms who in return lifted her and spun her around.

I'll be in the kitchen." Mrs Ademi turned around and left while Mr Ademi turned to the television.

Jola dropped Jetemi and turned her to Tolani.

Jetemi, meet my friend, Tolani." Jola said and Jetemi scrutnized him

..................... or your girlfriend?" Jetemi smirked and Jola looked taken aback.

Who's teaching you all this this things, Jetty?" Jola said and Jetemi rolled her eyes and turned to Tolani.

Hi, I'm Jetemi, can I call you 'T'? Jetemi said to Tolani with a happy smile

Of course, you can." Tolani said and she crouched to Jetemi's height.
How old are you beautiful?" Tolani asked softly
Jetemi is a perfect replica of Jola, they looked like twins. Tolani started to wonder who they look like between their mother and father.

I'm nine years old." Jetemi said and Tolani's eyes widdened. She was sure bigger and wiser than her age. She looked twelve and she talked liked an adult.
And when I grow, I want to be like you perfect face, perfect body shape and perfect skin colour. I'm so proud of you, Jay Jay." Jetemi said as she clapped happily and Jola smiled.

Look, she has the same hair as Romeo. The Indian hair." Jetemi said excitedly and it took Tolani by shock.
That was when Jola stared hard at her hair.
Jetemi isn't lying, he thought

Tolani, please, go up to my room and wait there." He said softly to Tolani and Jetemi who was caressing her hair grumbled.

I'll follow her." Jetemi stubbornly said

No, go to room this instant." Jola said sternly and Jetemi obeyed quietly and Tolani moved to Jola's room.

So, she already knows your room son. His dad mused.
What have you been doing to her in our absence?" Mr Ademi said again with a smirk

Geez dad, nothing okay." Jola said as he flushed
I just want to talk to you about something, dad." Jola said and his dad turned to him signalling for him to continue.

I love-.... uhm.... like her dad but she seems so dark and...... I don't know dad." Jola said frustrated and his dad smiled, he knew that feeling.
Mr Ademi placed a hand on his son's shoulder.

Yes, she seems so dark but you have to be the light to her world. She's built walls around herself but you are supposed to be the one to break those walls. She's sad but you should there for her always. She is mysterious but you are supposed to see through her. Son, that girl is broken and I expect you to mend her." Mr Ademi said to his son and Jola looked at his dad wide eyed.

Wow dad, that was one hella speech." Jola breathed and Mr Ademi chuckled

You see your mother was forced into marriage by her family. The marriage was childless. The man started maltreating her thinking she was barren. I was striking a deal with her father when I met her and she came to me begging that she needed my help to divorce the man. I helped her against her family's wish and in the process fell in love with her. Her family disowned her calling her barren. When I wanted to marry her, she begged me not to because she thought that she was barren but I took the risk. Exactly nine months after our marriage, we had your brother and like that we now have five of you. Her ex husband came begging that he has discovered that he is the cause of their childlessness but she was already happy with me. Her family came back begging too. My name is not Imole Ademi, son. My wife named me Imole." Mr Ademi said and smiled at his son while Jola tapped his chin , deep in thought.

So, mum named you Imole because you're a light to her world." Jola said thoughtfully

Yes son." Mr Ademi smiled at his son.

Jola smiled and proceeded to go to his room and Mr Ademi smirked at his son.

As much as you would like to fuck her, you have to make love to her gently." Mr Ademi said and watched his son flushed.

Dad, I don't even want to touch her yet." Jola said and shook his head at his father

Jetemi, come eat your food!!!!!!" Mrs Ademi yelled, coming out from the kitchen and smiled when she saw her son.

Call your girlfriend to come join us on the dinning." Mrs Ademi winked at her son

She's not my girlfriend............. yet and we're not coming to eat." Jola said and walked up to his room
