THIRD PERSON'S POV

Oreoluwa sat down and dropped her books inside her locker and she picked out a particular subject to read for the main time. She didn't see Teni and Romeo this morning and she wondered why cause they are not latecomers.

Hi, good morning" Tolani Badmus greeted her in a low voice.
Ore turned to Tolani with a smile.

Good morning, how are you?"Oreoluwa flashed Tolani a warm smile and she smiled back.

I'm fine. I just wanted to say that I like you so much.... and......... I.. uhh........." Tolani stuttered.
Oreoluwa smiled. She knew where Tolani was going to. Ore has been wondering why the daughter of the great Senator Badmus keeps to herself, now she understands that Tolani is bad at making friends. Senator Badmus is Mr Coker's good friend and Ore knew him well.

You're my friend already, Tolani" Ore shrugged with a smile.
Tolani gave a genuine smile.

Thank you, I-" Tolani was cut short by Jola crashing on the seat on the other side of Oreoluwa. Tolani stared at him for a moment, admiring him but the moment their eyes met, she looked away.

Morning sweets." Jola greeted kissing Ore's forehead. Ore smiled at him.

Good morning." Ore greeted back.

Suddenly, Oreoluwa heard a low 'ouch' come from Tolani. Tolani is also light skinned just like Oreoluwa.
Ore turned to Tolani and saw her rubbing a part of her arm. Ore gently removed the finger that Tolani was using to rub the affected part. Ore's eyes widdened when she saw a big red mark on Tolani's arm. It was like a pinch mark. In fury, Ore turned to Jola who looked like he has just been caught stealing.

Why did you do that, Jola?" Ore asked

I wanted to greet her." Jola said defensively and Ore narrowed her eyes at him

Are you sure?" Ore asked again

Fine." Jola huffed
I wanted to be sure I was not dreaming because Tolani Badmus talks to noone and seeing you both sitting together came as a suprise." Jola rambled

Well, I'm pretty sure that you're supposed to pinch yourself." Ore said shaking her head.

Tolani just watched them as they bickered, talking about her like she is not there. They looked so adorable together. That spiked a ping of jealousy in her tho. The both of them looked so cheerful and carefree that she wondered if they ever had a problem. That kind of carefree life was not made for people like her' she thought.

Move over." Jola's voice snapped Tolani out of her thought and the next thing she knew, Oreoluwa already crossed over to Jola's seat and Jola was already sitting beside her.

Morning Miss Tolani Badmus" Jola cheesed planting a kiss in her cheeks which took Tolani off guard.
Tolani looked down at her feet smiling and blushing.

Morning." Tolani mumbled and Jola gave a deep chuckle

Awwwwnnnn, she's blushing." Jola teased as he pinched her cheeks.

I'm not blushing." Tolani countered lamely

You know, you are light skinned, so its pretty obvious." Jola smirked and Tolani hit his chest, glaring at him.
I'm glad, I made you blush." Jola said again.
Tolani facepalmed herself mumbling a 'leave me alone' while Jola bursted out laughing.

Oreoluwa just watched how adorable they were with a smile. She liked how fast Jola got over Erica and got himself a whole Tolani Badmus. The gap was clear. She wished Tolani will open up to Jola cause she noticed that something bothers her secretly. Oreoluwa has seen Tolani crying a couple of times but she never approached her. Oreoluwa smiled again before turning to face the book she was reading.

As if on cue, Teni and Romeo walked in to Ore's class and Ore jumped on Romeo immediately, squealing while Teni smiled, shaking his head.
Romeo gently dropped Ore on the floor and faking a wince.

Is it only you or you're like 3 in 1 inside that body?" Romeo asked with a frown and Ore frowned

Are you calling me heavy or fat?" Ore asked wide eyed with her hands akimbo and Romeo grabbed her shoulders softly, caressing it

You just have a lot of weight, thats the point." Romeo shrugged

Its still the same thing." Oreoluwa huffed

Oh come on baby, you're not heavy." Teni said rubbing Ore's back soothingly and Ore broke into a smile

Thanks Teni, you are a darling." Ore smiled at Teni while Romeo rolled his eyes

Yeah whatever." Romeo yawned.
Romeo eyes caught Tolani and a small smile made its way to his face. He loved her and was happy that she's happy with Jola.
Tolani continued giggling while Jola talks to her.
Oreoluwa followed Romeo's gaze and immediately turned to him and glared at him.

Don't tell me you like her." Oreoluwa queried and Romeo barked out a laughter.

Of course not, how can I like my sis-" Romeo shut himself up and didn't continue his statement

Your what?" Ore asked impatiently

My classmate." Romeo lied and Teni stared at him weirdly. Teni didn't know when Romeo started keeping secrets. He just shrugged it off.

Tolani raised her head and frowned when she saw Romeo. She didn't know why people couldn't connect the dots, her name is Tolani Ruby Badmus and his name is Timilehin Romeo Badmus. They are of the same skin colour and they even have the same hair. Tolani sighed and looked away from Romeo.
He still hates me" she thought

Are you okay?" Jola snapped Tolani out of her thoughts

Yeah?" Tolani answered more like questioned.

You paled and your pupil dilated." Jola deadpanned, frowning.
Wow, she didn't know that he noticed that much

Nothing." Tolani lied smiling and Jola frowned more

I know thats a lie but you'll still tell me the truth." Jola said and she nodded

Hey guys, sorry for the late update.
I got caught up with school but he am done with my exams now💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃.
