I pulled her into an empty class. Immediately we got there,  she pulled her hands away from mine and she went to sit down.
I expected her to say something but she just sat down and stared at me. Merely looking at her, it was as if she didn't want to be here or be with me.

You brought me here so say something" she voiced out impatiently. The truth is I didn't even know what to say. I just wanted to take her away from Jolaoluwa.......................... I really don't know whats wrong with me!
I cleared my throat and spoke......................

I wanted to tell you not hang out with Jola. " I said firmly and she started laughing. After a few years, she finally finished laughing.

And who are you to tell me to hang out with? What are you? My mum?" She shot at me, her eyes burning with anger.

Ore, your mum will be so disappointed that you're hanging out with your dad's employee's son." I shrugged

Do you know how powerful the Ademi family is in this country? The fact that Jola's dad is humble to serve before he actually establishes himself doesn't make him inferior. Do you even know how rich Jola's older brother is?" She said, venom laced in her voice
.................. And unlike your mother, my mum treats everyone around her equally, not treating them inferior." She finished glaring at me. I wanted to defend my mum but its true. She treats other people who are not rich like trash. I was tongue-tied so I just stared at her.

And if you will excuse me, I have somewhere to be." She sassed and brushed past me.

I sighed, I didn't even know what I was doing, my heart keeps working and my brain has decided to shut down.

You like her?" I heard a voice ask. I turned and see Jeremiah my cousin asked. He is a twin and he is the most mischievous and cunning out of the two. His twin's name is Thomas and he is gentle and easy going.
Jeremiah never liked Oreoluwa, he always said she's just like other girls.

I don't like her." My voice coming out firmly than expected. I mentally high-fived myself.

Is that so?" He taunted with a sly smirk.

Just get over it" I waved it off and walked out.

I saw Romeo and Thomas walking towards my direction in lab coats. They looked worn out.

Are you okay, buddies?" I winked at them and they groaned

You are so stupid." The said in unision

I walked back to class and saw Jola on my seat. I slumped beside him and sighed.
Jared is so stupid.

Are you okay? What did he say to you?" Jola asked turning to me

He said I shouldn't hang out with you......................." I trailed off. I wasnt supposed to tell him, right?
He chuckled

You already said it. I knew thats what he was gonna say." He shrugged like its nothing

Why does your dad have to work for my dad?" I asked clearly confused

My dad and yours have been friends since.................."

I know that." I snapped cutting him short. I've heard that story like 1000 times.
He chuckled.

Okay, he just wants to serve under someone." He replied and I nodded not wanting to probe further.

I'm home!!!" I exclaimed as I entered our house. Iremide and Irebami ran out to hug me and I patted their heads.

Amanda, Amelia and Daniel are are around." Iremide squealed and I rolled my eyes. Iremide is the female twin while Irebami is the male twin.
Amanda, Amelia and Daniel are our orphan cousins. Their parents died in a car crash, since then dad has adopted them. Daniel is the older brother and Amanda and Amelia are twins. Amanda hates me with passion while I'm cool woth Amelia and Daniel. And yeah, twins run in the family.

As if on cue, they all came out and I smiled. I hugged Daniel

I missed you Sky"Daniel mumbled and I rubbed his back

I missed you too, Daniel" I said as I pulled away from him.
Amelia rushed to hug me.

Oreoluwa, you look so different!" Amelia exclaimed as she checked me out. I laughed

You are something else" I laughed

Oreoluwa, Amanda and Amelia will resume with you in school. They will start staying with us now. Are you cool with it?" Dad said. I felt my anger building within me but I forced a smile

Its fine dad" I forced out

Are you sure.................." Mum started to say but Amanda cut her

Do we need her approval?" Amanda growled out

Shut up, Amanda." Mum said calmly

Oh, you won't shut me up." Amanda shot at mum and I banged my fist on the table

I won't sit here and allow you talk to my mum anyhow. The fact that you don't have a mum doesn't mean that you should go about abusing other people's mum." I glared at her and shot Amelia and Daniel apologetic glances and they both nodded, understanding me.
Amanda's teary eyes pissed me off and I drooped my cutlery.

I'm done here" I said and left the dinning
