It's Tuesday, which usually isn't an important day but today...it still wasn't important. It's just my siblings are coming back along with my bestfriend. So it's just different, I guess.

I quickly closed the cap to the juice while I looked for my ringing phone. I found it just before it cut off, answering Kelly's call.

"Hey." I answered while panting.

"Why're you panting?"

"Why aren't you panting?" I fired back like an idiot.

"Let me guess, your phone is on vibrate and you had lost it."

Curse her for knowing me so well.

"What do you want?" I asked, sitting on my bed ignoring her laughing.

"I just wanted to tell you that our flight is delayed. There's a terrible storm coming in so they've delayed all flights."

"Oh, more time away from you? I'll take it."

That was a front of course, I wanted to see Kelly again so bad. I wanted her to tell me that it's going to be okay but I've got to wait.

"Is that why you sound sad? Because you want more time away from me?" She asked, seeing through my words.

"Shut up."

"Anyways, there's something you should know before we hang up though."

I was about to ask what is it but the doorbell rang.

"Hold on a sec, someone's at the door." I said, getting up and heading downstairs.

"Yeah, that what I need to tell you. Jo-"

"Joseph? Noelle?" I asked, looking at the two standing on my door step with their bags.

"Yes. They left earlier." Kelly said, nonchalantly.

I didn't reply, I just looked at them on my doorstep.

"Hi." Noelle said sheepishly.

I blinked, looking at her.

"Let me call you back."

"Okay."

We said our goodbyes and hung up.

"Hi." I finally replied. "What're you doing here?"

"We left earlier than them. Noelle really wanted to see you and how you were doing and I got tired of being in the same place." Joseph said.

"So, can we come in or...?" Noelle said, trailing off.

"Oh crap, yes. Yeah come in."

They entered my house while looking around.

"Nice place." Noelle said.

"Thanks." I mumbled. "Do you know that their flight got delayed?"

"No. When did that happen?" Joseph asked.

"I guess sometime between the time you left and like three minutes ago. Kelly just called and told me."

"Did she say when they'd be coming?" Joseph asked.

"No. She did say that there's a horrible storm coming in and all of the flights were delayed so at the max it could be three days." I said, shrugging.

"Damn. We were planning on staying with Blake and Ace." Noelle said.

"You can stay here til they get here. It's no one but me."

"Yeah but I don't want to impose. We can get a room." Noelle said, looking at Joseph.

"Yeah but you won't. You're not imposing and I don't mind, trust me." I said, hoping they'd say they would stay with me.

Honestly, I just don't want to be alone. This big empty mansion is just making me more depressed.

"Are you sure." Joseph stated , more than asked.

"Yes. I'm sure." I dragged out, turning away from them. "I'll show you the guest rooms." I said, walking away from them.

I led them around the corner and up the steps before turning right.

"These six rooms are for our guests. You can choose from any of these. I'm on the other side of the hall and so is my siblings."

"Hey, when we unpack can we go get some food?" Noelle asked.

"Food? Of course because who doesn't like food." I said, making them laugh.

"Unpack, do whatever, I'll be downstairs. Come down when you're ready." I gave them a smile before disappearing from their eyesight.

I sat back on the couch and called Kelly back.

"Hey, what's up, what's good, what's cracking, speaking of crack how cool would it be if we made-"

"Kelly." I laughed, cutting her off.

She was high and I mean as high as a kite.

"What?"

"You should really stop smoking."

"No way, Jose. It makes me feel super good, I love it. It's a shame you don't smoke. We could get high together, ya know what friends do." She laughed.

"I'm a good girl. Good girls don't smoke remember?"

"You did when we went to that Halloween party that time!" She sang. "You were so funny and carefree and that's the way I like to see you. I can't wait for you to go back to that again. That's my favorite Ella Grace Boyd version. If that makes sense, did that make sense?"

Oh man, I remember that party. I woke up with the worse hangover ever. It's funny though, I swore that I wouldn't drink or get high ever again and then boom, I got drunk off my butt in Seaside.

"Not really but kind of." I said, shrugging.

"I bet you shrugged when you said that, didn't you."

Yes.

"No."

"Mhm, sure. Oh! That reminds me, Joseph and Noelle are on their way! Did I already tell you that?"

"They're already here. Remember we were on the phone when we got here."

"Oh yeah right, I totally forgot about that. So what's happening?"

"Well, they were planning on staying with Ace at their house but since they weren't there I told them they could stay here. They were a little reluctant at first but then they changed their minds and agreed to stay here with me until you guys come back then they're gonna go stay with them."

"Oh okay. Hey Ells?"

"Yes, Kel?" I asked, laying fully down on the couch.

"Can you promise me that you and Noelle won't become super best friend like us? I don't want her to ruin our friendship, like come between us or anything. I'm not trying to come off as possessive or selfish or-"

How could she even think that Noelle could take her place. Kelly is my best friend, I'd choose her over anything in this world, over anyone in this world-- parents included, sister included, brother included.

"Kelly, what do I always tell you? You come before what?"

"Everything and everyone. That you'd chose me over your brother and sister. That you'd choose me over Blake."

"And that there's no way that anyone can ever replace you. You're my true friend. Like Hannah Montana." I said, cheesing like an idiot.

"You're an idiot." She laughed. "But thanks for reassuring me that." She said, yawning.

"Anytime.  You've already had your munchies, I'm assuming?"

"Yep and now it's time for my nap."

"Sweet dreams, Kel." I laughed before hanging up when I heard her snores.

I slid my phone into the back pocket of my jeans and sat up as I heard footsteps rounding the corner which soon revealed Noelle.

"You've unpacked that fast?"

"Nope but food sounds really good right about now." She said, laughing.

"Yeah. We've just gotta wait on Joseph's slow self."

"Speak for yourself, I've already unpacked too." Joseph said, coming from the same corner that revealed Noelle.

"He's got you beat, Noelle. I'm sorry." I laughed.

"That's only because he probably doesn't have much clothes, only useless ass condoms." Noelle argued.

"Useless? Definitely useful. Tell me what girl doesn't want me, because even you've had a slight crush on me."

"You're so cocky." I laughed.

"Nuh uh, I just have my moments." He whined, making Noelle and I laugh even harder.

"Anyways!" Noelle began, completely ignoring Joseph. "Let's go eat!"

I got up and grabbed my keys and crossbody from the kitchen.

"Let's." I grinned excitedly.

I led them through the kitchen, into the garage and to my car, that has still been unused since I've been back.

"She's yours?" Joseph asked.

"Yep, one of the few presents I received from my parents." I said, lifting my seat forward for Joseph.

"She's a beaut." Noelle said, slipping her seatbelt on.

"Thanks, I love it. When people usually see our all of cars, they automatically think Gracie and Grayson has better cars, which is true because they are more expensive, but if you're a basic person like me, then you think you have the best car." I said, pulling out of the garage.

"Honestly, I'd rather have a Mustang over an Audi and a BMW over a Mustang." Joseph said.

"I'd just rather have all three." Noelle shrugged, making me laugh.

Fifteen minutes later and here I was swerving into a parking spot then shutting off the car.

"Let's eat." I said, sliding out of the car.

Once we went inside, Joseph paid for us all.

"Since I paid, I call dibs on getting my plate now." He said quickly walking off.

"Bastard." Noelle muttered. "No one even asked him to pay!"

"Ah, let him have his moment." I laughed.

Noelle and I settled for a table in the far corner. She sat next to me and pulled out her phone.

"You got an Instagram?" She asked, pulling up her app.

"Yeah it's ellaboyd98." I said, pulling out my own phone and heading over to Instagram.

"Great, I just requested to follow you."

"And I just accepted it also while following you in the process." I said, watching Joseph come to our table.

"Great, now let's eat." She laughed, pulling me out of the booth.
