It was aproaching the end of summer while I was reading from my... stuff, when Eliza called me downstairs. She asked if i'd like to go upstate and Angelica was coming from England. At the time Peggy was in our guestroom talking to Philip. Eliza sits down to play the piano while supper is cooking. Philip and Peggy came down and began to sing together. Eliza joined in, smiling at Peggy and Philip. There was a knock at the door, it was the Theodosia's? We asked why they were here, they explained Curry needed some alone time from people. We happily accepted them, Philip was psyched. They came in and spotted our piano. "Eliza, you play?" Theodosia asked surprised, Eliza nodded. Theodosia sat down and started to play a classical tune. Philip blushed and asked his friend to dance. Theodosia turned a tomato red and accepted Philip's offer. They began to dance around together. Eliza listened to the pleasant music, watching the kids dance. After awhile the music slowed and stopped. The soothing silence filled us all with happiness. I lit an extra candle as the sky grew darker. Philip ran to me and asked if Theodosia could bunk with him. I didn't want to upset Philip so I nodded.

That night while we were all asleep, there was a noise coming from Philip's room. I opened his door to see him and Theodosia laughing on the floor. I no longer felt alarmed and smiled. "What's up kids? Shouldn't you be asleep?" I asked them. Philip said they were both playing a game they made up. I said "As long as you get some sleep, have fun." I'm such a responsible father! Anyway, the next morning I was awoken by the slight sound of the piano. I headed downstairs to see everyone met in the living room. Eliza looked at me and smiled, I just waved as a response. Philip and the others were playing one of the boardgames that were on a shelf. It appeared that Philip was losing. Theodosia was cheering him on. Eliza decided to make breakfast.
