December 31st, the day we registered our marriage, the day I officially became Akashi (f/n).

We talked about it few days ago, but to make it more special, we decided it this day.

Akashi, no I am still not used to it, Seijurou, Hina, and I went to register. After that, we went to tell my family. I was expecting that everyone would be surprised but,

"He already told me" Mom chuckled

"Well, he said when we were drinking last time" Yuki-nii simply answered

"My daughter, my daughter! I should have said no that time!" Dad cried

But well, they congratulated us, and we'll celebrate it along with New Year's eve. I also messaged Miho and Takuto as well, but I haven't checked my phone, though I felt it vibrating for a while now.

"W...wow, neesan is already married" Sakura stood still dumbfounded

"A house without Aneki" Haru was standing next to her, same as Sakura, he still couldn't comprehend the sudden announcement

"But, why don't you have wedding rings?!" Daisuke shouted and his face is so pale "don't married couple have those?!"

"Ah actually about that..."

"We are planning to have our wedding ceremony at the end of January. We haven't finalized the date since we wanted to know your schedule first." Seijurou explained "the ceremony, we both decided to just keep it with just our family and close friends."

They smiled at us, and as expected, everyone looked at dad, since he was planning to go out of the country again soon

"Well, when he told us last time, I was expecting the ceremony to be somewhere next year. But I never expected it to be this fast. Don't worry about my schedule. I am staying here until then"

"Dad..."

"So (f/n) will be moving to Seijurou-san's house now..." Daisuke mumbled in disbelief, and all of a sudden Yuki-nii laughed

"You need to learn now how to prepare your own bentou and breakfast." He teasingly looked at the three and smirked "my condolence"

The three glared at him and I just stopped them "well, I can visit anytime here"

"You can also visit us anytime" Seijurou added but I was surprised when suddenly he bowed down towards them "thank you very much for entrusting (f/n) to me." He stand back and slightly smiled "there will be times that we will disagree with each other, but I will make sure that we can overcome those together. I'll make her happy and we'll have a warm family like yours."

"You are so formal, Seijurou-kun." Mom chuckled but had a gentle smile, though I could see her eyes tearing a bit "please look after our daughter. We are here to guide you if you two hit the wall that you don't know what to do anymore. But we are positive that you will overcome them no matter what."

"In any case, we'll have party tonight!"

"Not too much since we are going for an early shrine visit tomorrow, right?" Mom reminded dad and he looked so devasted

"... ah yeah, that's why!" Dad grabbed Yuki-nii and Seijurou then this old man has full of tension "Let's have a drink now! Yuki, Seijurou! Let's drink!"

"We don't have alcohol anymore since you kept on drinking them!" Yuki-nii retorted then freed himself from dad

And dad just simply answered back "then go and buy some, bring Seijurou too so he can choose what he likes"

"Old man... you, really"

"I don't mind. We can go and buy" Seijurou told them then turned to me "then I'll leave Hina to you"

"You don't need to do that" I told him but he smiled and assured me that it's all okay.

So in the end, Yuki-nii and Seijurou left to buy alcohol, well we asked them to buy some foods too. Daisuke and Haru tagged along just because they wanted to.

Dad and mom talked to me though

"Did you tell Seijurou-kun about it?" Mom asked and I tilted in my confusion what she was talking about "That... like I know you didn't mind about it anymore, but shouldn't you tell him?"

"Well, it's not necessary anymore. I mean, it won't change anything. Ah, but Hina knows about it."

"You told Hina, but not Seijurou-kun?"

"Well, Hina-chan understands me. Plus, Seijurou, I think he already knows. He isn't saying anything because it actually doesn't matter" I chuckled then hugged mom "thank you mom, dad"

"To think that one of our daughters is now married. To think that I won't be able to see you everyday now. It's a complicated feeling, but I am happy for you"

"(F/n)" dad patted my head and he is somehow holding back his tears "I am happy for you."

"Thank you so much. I don't know what will happen, but I'll be fine. I'll visit you lots and you can visit me there"

"Neesan, the kids wanted to go out. There's a new pancake house nearby, should we go and walk there?"

"Let's go. Since the guys are out, let's go out too" I responded and we immediately prepared to go to the pancake house.

Later that day, when we returned home, they were already drinking. We prepared foods for New Year's eve.

And that night, we all welcome the new year, and I couldn't believe that this year, I am already married and to Akashi Seijurou.

Early next day, we all went to a new year shrine visit and it seems it's Hina's first time, and for Seijurou, the last time he went for a new year shrine visit was when he was in 3rd year high school with Kuroko and the others.

That night though, as planned, we went to Akashi family New Year's party.

"Are you okay?" Seijurou asked as I sit inside this car, Seijurou holding my hand. I think he could feel that I am feeling nervous.

"I am.. just I feel nervous"

"You'll be okay. Father had already accepted you, he even told us to get married already. Also, Naomi"

"Naomi-san?"

"Well, Naomi is one of the respected figure in Akashi family, especially in our age. My family is the main family, but I still have cousins, whether they are from the first family line or 2nd family line, they respect Naomi as well." Seijurou caressed my cheeks and had a gentle smile "Don't worry, you'll be fine. Plus, you will the most beautiful woman there"

I slightly nodded and felt embarrassed. I remembered that the dress I am wearing was chosen by Seijurou. I requested not to go to salon to do make-ups and my hair, I just told him that I wanted it to be simple, so I did it myself.

Not long after, my eyes widened as the car entered a huge, I mean, huge mansion! What's this?! Palace?! Is this even real? What's with this place?!

When I get off the car, I felt so small standing in front of this enormous mansion.

"Where is this?" I nervously asked

"Where? This is the main mansion of Akashi family. I mean, our house"

"Welcome back Seijurou-sama, (f/n)-sama." Sanae-san greeted us with a smile, and I felt awkward being called by her like that

"Sanae-san, just call me normally."

"No, no, I can't do that."

"Is everyone inside already?" Seijurou asked but Sanae-san shook her head

"No, but lots already arrived. Masaomi-san told us to prepare your room and said that you can wait there. Also, he told us to inform you to stay until tomorrow for breakfast, so we prepared room for you and (f/n)-sama"

"We'll stay in my room then. So bring (f/n)' stuffs there. Wait... you said to stay for breakfast?"

"Yes"

Seijurou made a deep thought then sighed "ah, so that's it. I understand. Well then, again just bring the stuffs you prepared for (f/n) to my room."

"Eh but.."

Sanae-san wanted to retort but Seijurou led me inside. I linked my arm to his, and the beating of my heart became vigorous.

We entered their mansion and the outside was already extravagant, but the inside was a breathtaking. But this is too big! So does that mean, Seijurou lived here with just his mom and dad?

"(F/n), you are too nervous." Seijurou chuckled and I couldn't help but whine

"Of course I do! I mean, compared to the party last time, this one... your family. It's an entirely different to my family"

"You are right. But don't worry, they need to accept you because you are my wife."

Even he said that, I still couldn't help but of course, get nervous.

We head towards the party hall, and once the maids opened the huge door, the people inside immediately turned their eyes towards us. I could see them whispering to each other. We walked towards the main stage, and there were 5 men gathering and 3 women that I think the wives of the men next to them

"Good evening, and happy new year" Seijurou greeted "father isn't here yet?"

"Not yet. And this person is?" Ahh, I knew it, their conscious is on me

"I know her" one of the women looked at me, analyzing me from head to toe "She's the babysitter of the kid you are looking after, right?"

"She's just a babysitter, but why is she here?" The men asked in disbelief

"Seijurou-sama, we know you rejected your marriage partners, but you could just come here by yourself instead of bringing your babysitter here. Even if you dress her up, she's still the babysitter" one of the women sighed in disbelief

What a way of saying it. Indeed, I started as a babysitter. Even I couldn't believe that I am in this situation. I couldn't believe that I am married to Seijurou.

"Of all people, she's the most important woman here. You'll know soon enough"

"Please excuse me, Seijurou-sama, your father is calling you two" one of the servants told us "please follow me"

"Well then, I'll see you again later."

I bowed down towards them as well, and we followed the servant, without introducing me to them

"Somehow sorry that you were told like that" I told Seijurou but he chuckled

"Let them run their mouth now. They will bow their heads towards you."

"I prefer to stay low profile though. But I think I can't huh" I chuckled but it was dry

Not long after, we arrived in Masaomi-san's room and compared to before, I didn't feel nervous standing in front of him.

"I received the report. Congratulations." He greeted then turned to us "so when are you planning to do the wedding ceremony?"

"Tentative date is on the 28th" Seijurou answered "also, we are planning just a simple one. With just our family and close friends. Of course, the family I meant is just the first family."

"I understand that. So I let you tell your mother side. Also, I presume you already know"

"Yes, he'll be here tomorrow instead. I thought he'll be here today?"

"Change of plan when he heard that you are already married." Masaomi-san explained. What's with this feeling? I feel like Masaomi-san is nervous? Also, he?

"Ah, he's mad because I didn't tell him" Seijurou sighed "well, I'll handle him tomorrow. And I think (f/n) and him will get along"

"Ah, it reminds me." Masaomi-san turned to me then to Seijurou "schedule a dinner, with her family. Of course, I need to meet her family, right?"

Seijurou turned to me and I nodded "I'll talk to them, and I think they'll be fine anytime."

"I understand, then let's schedule it next Saturday night." Seijurou responded then turned to his father "open your schedule that time then, father"

"Yeah"

And it was then, there was a knock "Masaomi-sama, everyone has already arrived"

"I understand." He responded then got his coat "well then, let's go."

Eh?! I'll go back again there?! Also, along with Masaomi-san?!

When we entered again, I could feel the stare became doubled.

"Wow, the gaze is killing me" I commented in low voice

"They are surprised, confused, and curious as well." Seijurou chuckled

I sighed and just walk to where they would go. And in the end, we went to the main stage. Masaomi-san went to the middle, and we stood on the side. Again, instead of looking at Masaomi-san, I could feel the gaze towards me instead.

"Greetings and Happy New Year everyone" Masaomi-san started, with his, well intimidating demeanor. "I welcome everyone for our yearly new year's party. I hope you will enjoy this reunion. And in another note" Masaomi-san turned to us "I want you to all welcome the new member of Akashi family, my son's wife, (f/n)"

And yes, their eyes widened and they couldn't believe what they just heard. They started murmuring and wow, their eyes are changing.

"Again, I welcome everyone and let's enjoy the party tonight" he bowed down then approached us "Let's go and greet them."

We followed Masaomi-san and he introduced me to everyone. Indeed we went around, and it was crazy how everyone looked at me from head to toe and they couldn't believe that a babysitter like me became Akashi Seijurou's wife, became the main heir's wife.

After an hour of going around, I sighed and hid behind Seijurou as we stood on the side

"I'm seriously tired"

Seijurou chuckled then faced me "Let's go grab something to eat, then sit in one of empty table"

"Yeah"

Seijurou held my hand and we went to get food. We also went to an empty table, and there eat. He moved his chair closer to mine and we talked to each. He was telling me that not all of them are here. Also, Naomi-san, who supposed to be here wasn't here yet. He said that in Akashi fami, if a man got married to a woman from Akashi family, the man would change his last name instead.

What a crazy family tradition!

"Ah, yeah, who was the one you were talking about?" I curiously asked but he tilted his head "the one who supposed to be here? But couldn't so he would here tomorrow instead."

"Ah that-"

"Seijurou-sama" one of the servants called him and bowed down "please excuse me, Masaomi-sama wanted to talk to you for a second. (F/n)-sama can stay here and I'll look after her."

"Will you be okay by yourself?" Seijurou asked and I nodded

"Yeah, don't worry about me. You can go to Masaomi-san."

"Okay, I'll be right back" he then turned to the servant "look after her, and don't gaze your eyes off her."

Though I said I'll be okay, I feel more nervous being by myself. I could feel everyone's eyes became sharper. And I think the bullying would start.

And speaking of,

"Wow, she's really normal upclose" four people approached me, and they seemed close to my age. Three women and a man.

"You can go now, we'll look after her" the man told the servant but he was looking at me, not gazing away "didn't you hear me?"

"I apologize however, I am here to look after (f/n)-sama, and was ordered by Seijurou-sama."

"Well, who cares." The woman on the left chuckled and looked at me, looking down at me "she has a gut. Taking the lone heir of Akashi group. The president, and soon to be Chairman, Seijurou-sama. Just what did you do? It's not that Seijurou-sama fall for you?"

"Oh please, it's obvious, she really did something foul play. It's Seijurou-sama we are talking about here" the woman next to the first one added

"She's one of those gold digger around. Gosh, a babysitter turned to be the wife of the heir. Are you pretending to be Cinderella?" The last woman chuckled, but their voices were icy. As expected from the Akashi family "can you even speak?"

"She's too scared to speak. I am sure she didn't even know our names." The man followed

I have lots of things to say, but I was told to mind my actions. I wanted them to just Leave me alone.

"Gold digger, huh? Shouldn't you tell that to your mothers? Ayako, Nina, Kana, Riku?" We all turned to that voice and behind these four there stood the woman I am looking for "gosh, what a low way of bullying? If Seijurou hears about it, do you think he'll stay quiet?"

"Naomi-sama!" Ah, they looked anxious

"Naomi-sama, I don't like how you mention about our mothers!" The man and seemed name Riku glared at her

"Should I remind you? That the reason your mothers aren't here is because of their jobs, and they weren't accepted."

"And do you think she'll be accepted?! No, she's just a babysitter!" One of the women shouted

"If not, then why is she here? Masaomi-sama also accepted her, even announced it to everyone." Naomi-san chuckled then approached me "Don't get too highly of yourself just because you are born in Akashi family. You were, but think first where your family line is, and if you are saying about gold digger, your mothers are the best examples." She smiled at them, a sweet but dark smile "so can you all get lost?"

"And what about you? Seems like your husband isn't here" they aren't backing out

"You won't see him here anymore" Naomi-san smiled at them "and just to inform you, ex-husband. But even still, he was accepted. Get lost now, you are all eyesores!"

And with that they left. Naomi-san sat down next to me and made a teasing smile but with icy aura

"I heard the hot news, congratulations. But, I am a bit mad, why you didn't tell me nor didn't invite me?"

"Ah, sorry, actually, we just registered yesterday, and the tentative date of the ceremony will be on the 28th. I am actually looking for you. I told Seijurou that you must be there. Sorry I didn't know your number so I wasn't able to message you yesterday. I asked Seijurou, but he said that he didn't know your number as well"

Naomi-san laughed and sighed, retreating the icy aura she had "Let's change number then." She got her phone out then winked at me "I'll hang out with you and Hina sometimes too"

"I'm looking forward to it"

"No, don't" I flinched when suddenly Seijurou showed up behind me. "I thought you won't be here"

"Of course I would be here. But I am surprised that the person who supposed to be here is not here."

"He'll he here tomorrow. Anyways, why are you here?"

"She saved me a while ago" I answered then he turned to his servant and asked what happened, in which the servant told him in details. "Wow, he just explained in details."

"Those scums. One after another. I'll leave (f/n) to you then. I need to talk to some uncles." Seijurou sighed and emitted a dark aura

"Is something wrong?" Naomi-san and I asked and he nodded

"Father finally found an evidence that they are embezzling in our company. So I just need to have a talk with them."

"Ah, well good luck"

Wow, it sounded so normal. Seijurou just left and went towards a group of old men gathering at the other side of the event hall

I wanted to ask about this family line, but I better not to. Somehow, it's complicated to know.

"Wow, those four are still looking over here" I turned to Naomi-san then turned to the four she was talking about

"You sure don't get along with them"

"No. As I said a while ago, they were born in Akashi family but they aren't the ideal member nor they really not entirely part of our family." Naomi-san explained and I couldn't help but be confused and curious "well, I know that all jobs are jobs that it depends on people and they are worth to be praised. But there's one thing that our family doesn't want."

"And that is?"

"hostess club. In the end if they just served their customers, there would be no problem, but they serve them with their body" she responded "their mothers work there, even until now. Riku's mother was the first. And because uncle is from Akashi family, Riku's mother wanted his family to enter our family, so she introduced his sister to one of our uncles. Then her two friends also did the same. What worse was Kana's and Ayako's father are already married prior to that."

"Eh? Then that..."

"Yeah, but in order to clean the mess, the kids entered the family, with child support of course. We are still giving their mothers too. We could accept them if they would stop their work, but no, they didn't stop and still working. They are still working and accepting money too. They are the real definition of gold diggers. Even though their family line is far from the main line, they shouldn't act like that, furthermore, towards you. They should know, Seijurou would never decide on something that there's no merit to him, and if it would tarnish the family. So it means, he chose you because he found something on you." Naomi-san smiled at me then giggled "oh gosh, I still can't believe that Seijurou is already married"

"Naomi-san, you are close to Seijurou?"

"Yeah, well how to say this, Akashi family is big, but there's only one main line and that's Seijurou's line. But there was one thing, the main line should only have one heir or one son, but we have same grandfather, his father and my father are half-brother. Well my grandmother was accepted because Seijurou's grandmother was already dead by that time. Grandma is from a decent family too so we are accepted."

"Somehow it's traditional in your family, being accepted or not. So that explains about Hina-chan"

"Yeah, Hina-chan isn't accepted yet. She is still not officially Akashi. There are also some on our family that are adopted, but they don't feel like attending here because, they aren't much accepted."

"And Masaomi-san is the one deciding that?"

"No, the one who will decide is the very head of the main family line"

"Not Masaomi-san?" I asked again but she became serious

"Seijurou's and my grandfather. He is still alive, I mean he is still alive and energetic. Though to be honest, the only person who could handle him is Seijurou. Not even Masaomi-sama, nor my father."

Somehow I felt nervous and kind of have a hunch who I would be meeting tomorrow.

Not long after, Naomi-san and I went around and she introduced me to some of their relatives that I could get along with.

Since I was so tired, I asked one of the servants to lead me to Seijurou's room and also asked her to tell him that I went ahead.

As I entered his room, I was again surprised how big it is. It's like a whole apartment already, no a whole hou. I was told that they left my change of clothes on top of Seijurou's bed. Indeed there's night dress there

I sat down first and breathe out. I need to take a bath but I also just wanted to sleep.

"Don't sleep there" I opened my eyes and Seijurou is standing in front of me

"Sei...jurou... since when?"

"I just came in. The party had already ended."

"I fall asleep? What time is it?" I yawned as I stand up

"It's already past 12. Do you want to take a bath first?"

"Yeah, I supposed to take a bath but I think I fall asleep."

"I already prepared the bath. Let's take it together"

"Eh?"

"Just what kind of situation is this?" I asked in disbelief as I hugged my knees, hiding my naked body, and on the other end, Akashi is there.

"Should I ask the same thing? I am thinking of you in front of me, but why are you so far from me?"

"I feel like if I would be there, you would do something behind me then we'll do it. I'm seriously tired right now."

"Even still-"

"And it's good thing that your bathtub is this big."

"(F/n), I'll give you option"

"Huh?"

"Come here, or I'll go there"

"Huh?!" I looked at him in disbelief, did he understand what he said "it's the same thing!"

Though I said that, I was surprised when he already moved in front of me."

"(F/n), we will be busy from now on. We'll be busy preparing for our wedding" he's too close!

"Yeah, but first we need to wake up early morning, right?"

I asked him but I was surprised when he suddenly kissed me, and I couldn't reject it, but instead accepted it. But I flinched when I felt his hand, I moved back and pouted my lips

"What?

"I'm seriously tired, are you serious?"

He smiled and moved closer to me "yeah, it can't be helped, seeing my wife in such appearance, of course, even I couldn't hold back, right?"

I sighed and chuckled then wrapped my arms around his neck "I understand, then just once"

"Yeah, here in the bathtub"

And with that, in this wide bathtub, he didn't hold back, and after this on his bed.

It's very peaceful, that it's kind of scary. There won't be any problem from here on, right?
