"Ah right, the talk about the fishing port has been settled. The renovation will start next week"

I looked at him in surprised as I was waiting for him to finish putting his inner polo shirt so I can tie his necktie

"I went there with Momoi and Mibuchi-san to check the area. It was perfect for our next project plan, so we went ahead and bought the other lands there as well. Nijimura-senpai and Momoi had a reunion too. Well, even though we bought them we still needed to look after the business. I am the land owner, but we still need people to manage them. Nijimura-senpai is one of them. But one business had totally given everything to us, so Nijimura-senpai would look after it as well." He informed me then stood in front of me as he finished tucking in his polo "problem solved. We are planning to have seafood market nearby and seafood restaurants, they said that is much better than having a casino. Mibuchi-san will handle the restaurants"

"..."

"(F/n)? Is something wrong?"

"Well" I stood up and started to tie his necktie "you never mentioned anything about that to me the whole week then suddenly telling me that everything is already settled. I was dying to know what happened, and I thought you hadn't settled anything. I was just surprised"

"My apologies. It slipped my mind since I was busy this week. My dear wife, you aren't going to accidentally tighten up the necktie, right?"

"Oh no, I am not that petty" I chuckled but he held both my hands and smiled

"Loose it up a bit then" he dryly chuckled then kissed me. As he moved back, he leaned his forehead to mine "sorry for not mentioning, but probably I just didn't want you to stress stuffs."

"It stressed me anyways" I told him and sighed as I fixed his necktie once again "it was stupid of me to think that I would know about the progress details"

"I am sorry"

"I am just joking"

"At first you weren't though"

I laughed then wiped his lips "yeah but it's all good now. Sorry, my lipstick got into your lips."

"You put some lipstick? Ah, so that's why your lips were a bit red. You never put one before though"

"Yeah, a bit though. It's a lipstick lip balm since mom told me that my lips are cracking. It's like a treatment." I explained as I showed him the lipstick "It's this one"

He got it from me then tilted his head "I didn't notice at all though. Ah! I almost forgot" he gave my lipstick back then went to get something from his bag. He returned with a white box on his hand

"What's that?"

He opened the box and it's a silver bracelet, with the initial of my first and last name, and between the two letters, there's a diamond? Is that a diamond? Or just a shape? He got it then put on my left wrist. "It's an emergency alarm"

"Huh?"

"If you push this button" as he pushed the diamond shape between my initials, an alarm rang from his phone. He again pushed it and the alarm stopped "an emergency alarm will ring on my phone instead, and there's gps means. It means wherever I am, if you push that button, I'll know that you are in danger or where you are"

"What if I accidentally bumped it, and it pushed the button?"

"Ah you don't need to worry about that. First, push the button" I pushed the button then the alarm rang, then I pushed the button once again and the alarm stopped. "The activation is complete. It will only response with your fingerprints from now on" he explained as he pushed the button but it didn't ring

"Just where did you get this device?" I curiously asked "there's even my initial"

"Last month, Momoi met her acquaintance and showed it to her, then she mentioned it to me. Since I also know him, he customized it to be like this, and with your initials. It's convenient, right?"

"It is, but is it really necessary?" I curiously asked but he kissed me first before responding

"Of course" he got the lipstick again and gently applied it on my lips "in contrary, is this one necessary? You are becoming more beautiful"

"Then Seijurou, if I pushed this button and it stopped for five seconds, means I just missed you. But, if it rangs for more than that, means something happens that you need to go and see me immediately"

"Don't jinx it like that"

"Well, I mean if that happens. It's not it will happen anyways, right?"

"Daddy, mommy, there was this loud alarm!" We both jolted as Hina suddenly rushed inside our room, wearing a beautiful pink dress, her face wasn't matching it up "what was that?!"

"Sorry our dear princess, we were testing this new emergency alarm of your mommy" Seijurou chuckled then carried her "sorry for scaring you"

"Emergency alarm?"

I showed her the bracelet and Seijurou explained to her how it works, in which she was amazed but scared when the alarm again rang.

Not long after, Nikaido-san arrived and we headed to the main Akashi's house, to celebrate grandfather's birthday.

But, before leaving, we got a bit trouble.

When we arrived in the main house, as expected, everyone was looking at us, especially to me. The maids who were working in Seijurou's house before were all surprised and excitedly congratulated me, but moved back when they realized Seijurou. Though, they were surprised when Seijurou smiled and thanked them.

We headed towards the party hall, and all eyes were on us as we passed by them.

Especially when we entered the hall. Silence, that turned to whispering happened.

We went straight to where grandfather is, in which both our parents were there. They were looking at us with eyes wide opened.

"Grandfather, happy birthday!" Hina handed our gift

"Our apologies that we are a bit late, and we could only prepare that. Happy Birthday, grandfather"

"Happy Birthday, grandfather. We apologize for our tardiness. It was my fault, we had a bit of an expected problem." I bowed down and felt my heart exploding with nervousness.

"..."

Silence was his response, no, not just him, but everyone around.

"Did something happen before you arrived here?" Mom was the one that broke the silence as she approached me

"Yes, her belly hurt a bit and we waited until it calmed down." Seijurou explained "but she's okay now."

"Wait a minute!" As expected, dad was the first one who retorted "you are pregnant?! What month?! Why I didn't know about it?! You know about it?" He asked father and received a no from him

"I also didn't know nor never heard anything about it. How about father?" He asked grandfather and received the same answer

"I am surprised and I think knowing that I'll be having additional great grandchild is the best present I received today" he chuckled in much of everyone's surprise "what month is it now?"

"It's almost my six month" I answered and bowed down "we apologized for not telling anyone. We wanted to tell as soon as possible, but-"

"We wanted to make sure that she's in much stable condition. We asked mom though, since she know better than anyone" Seijurou continued "we again apologized that it seems we stole the spotlight"

"It's totally fine. Why don't you go and eat now? Do you have some foods you can't eat?" Grandfather looked so worried and excited

"Yeah there are few, but I really couldn't stand the smell of sweets, mostly chocolates and cakes." I answered then he turned to his servants

"Make sure to remove all sweets, chocolates on their table. Make sure all are fresh, and no weird dishes there" he ordered with a loud intimidating voice and they immediately went to our reserved table and yes, removed the desserts

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

"Don't be. As I said it's totally fine. We can't let anything bad happen to you. If something happens, you'll be accountable to it, Seijurou"

"Eh? Wait!-"

"It's fine (f/n)" Seijurou stopped me and sighed "Grandfather is just like that. I heard that he was like this as well when mother was pregnant." He again sighed then wrapped his arm around my waist "anyways, we'll go now to our table. I don't want my wife to stand for too long."

"I also need to talk to the two of you" Father told us then look at dad and mom "I would like you two to join as well."

"I'll leave them to you" mom went towards Hina and tapped her shoulder "I'll bring Hina to where the others are. They will surely see you later" and they excused themselves

We followed father and dad to our reserved table. The servants really cleared the table, and told us that they would be serving us new cooked dishes.

"Anyways, while waiting let's get down to business" Father started then he looked at us "do you know what's the gender?"

"No, we wanted to surprise ourselves" Seijurou responded

"But how about the baby's stuffs? You aren't going to prepare? I don't quite like that idea" Dad curiously asked

"About that, indeed we wanted to surprise ourselves, but mom was against with that for the same reason as you dad. So in the end, we'll still go to the hospital to check the gender, but only mom will know. Then, she'll prepare for us. We had given her our preferences for a boy and for a girl" I explained

"Then I'll help her in preparation. I'm getting excited to the two of you! But I think your genes are stronger, so the features will mostly taken by you, Seijurou" dad chuckled in which Seijurou also agreed "what do you think, Masaomi?"

"Either way is fine" he simply responded but looked at us seriously "however, if the baby is a girl, I wanted you to have one more, or should I say, until you have a son"

I froze from what he just said... what does he mean by that...?!

"Masaomi, what are you saying? So if it's not a son, then she needs to get pregnant again soon after? And they won't stop until they get a son? Why? Isn't that a bit too much" Dad tried to comprehend what he said, even I couldn't comprehend that at all

Wait... Don't tell me...?

"Is that because... you wanted to have a son successor to your company? And a daughter is not in the option?"

"Ah, don't get the wrong idea. It's not for the company. Besides, man or woman, I don't mind as long as they do their jobs. Women can do proper jobs as well. I even wanted Naomi to be the vice president, but she refused. Anyways, what I wanted is the last name"

"Last name?" Dad and I confusedly asked. I turned to Seijurou, who sighed and shook his head

"(F/n), for you, do you prefer for the man you love to be married to your family? Him getting your surname"

"No, I rather get his surname- ah" I get now what he meant "but then isn't it normal for the daughter of Akashi family to stay her last name, and the husband will marry to the family instead?"

"It's yours and Seijurou's daughter" he stated, and that didn't answer my question at all "do you think she'll stay as Akashi? Naomi for example, got burnt-out being an Akashi and let herself get married to other family."

He explained well in few words. I chuckled and turned to Seijurou. Surely he didn't mind at all, but he just didn't want the fact that his father deciding something for us

"I understand. Seijurou and I will talk about it"

"Then, had you think of names?" Father asked and these two old men started deciding about names. And they were enjoying it

"Neesan!" Sakura arrived wearing a beautiful light blue dress "mom said you'd be... here..." and she slowed down, seemed she already noticed "neesan... you didn't just eat too much, right?"

"I haven't eaten anything since we arrived here" I chuckled

"..." she blinked fast then turned around "I'll go call the others. They need to see this!"

And she left

"You two old men, go to your own table. We wanted to eat in peace." Seijurou told them, and even though dad and father didn't want at first, they still left

"Goodness, father saying that. I don't mind at all, but I just don't want him to decide things for us"

I knew it!

"Neesan!" Daisuke called me, and wow, Sakura really called everyone "Sakura said we wi... ehh?"

They froze as they looked at me in surprised

"It's been a while." I greeted them

"Neesan... you didn't eat too much, right...?" Haru asked staring at me

"They are really twins" Seijurou chuckled "she didn't, we haven't eaten anything since we arrived here"

"Mommy has a baby inside her stomach" Hina told them as she approached Seijurou "I'll be a big sister soon"

"Congratulations!" Mikako-nee excitedly told us "I already had a hunch since mom kept on going to your place and you weren't showing yourself."

"Wow, as expected from a mother" Seijurou again chuckled "mom also realized it even before I told her"

The others congratulated us, and lastly, Yuki-nii "wow, just recently, I was telling you to get married and have a kid so these three would stop bothering you. Then there was one time when we thought you were joking and hallucinating about getting married" he chuckled, but not long after he started to cry

HE'S CRYING!!

"Nii-chan is so happy! It was the same when I found out I would be a father for the first time. I am so happy for you three! And we will be having additional family as well."

Mikako-nee brought Yuki-nii outside first to calm him down. After eating, Sakura brought the kids to play in the nursery room, while Daisuke and Haru talked to Seijurou with school stuffs.

"Where are the guys?" Seijurou asked as he got back from the bathroom

"They went outside. Haru received a call and Daisuke went to tease him" I chuckled

"Ohh, girlfriend, huh? Sorry for leaving you by yourself"

"It's totally fine."

As he was about to sit down, he was called by grandfather's secretary to meet some business partners that had just arrived. He wanted me to go with him but I rather sit down than stress myself over there. In the end, as what happened before, a security guard was standing behind me, not too far from me, not leaving his gaze towards me. It was the same guard as before.

~Akashi~

(F/n) was enjoying her own time, eating while watching people gathering here and there. But she could see them looking over her time to time.

It was then a servant came over to their table to replace some dishes. However, when the maid returned, she was holding a plate of desserts, cookies, chocolates, cakes.

"Uhm.. why...?" (F/n) curiously asked but the servant

"Ah, I was told that you requested this" she answered then left once she put the plate down in front of (f/n).

(F/n) started to feel her stomach rumbling, and her vision started to get blurry because of dizziness. She pushed the plate further, but she could feel everything she ate so far would come out. The security guard looking after her immediately ran towards her, worried to the sudden situation

"(F/n)-sama! What's wrong?!"

"T-the plate... sorry, can you move the plate away from me?" She requested, making the guard to stand up and immediately pull the table sheet, throwing everything away. It caused ruckus making everyone looked over them.

"Can you stand up, (f/n)-sama? Let's move away from here"

"W-water, can I have water?"

"Here" one of the guests handed a water for her, and it was a pregnant woman "was there a food that you couldn't stand the smell included on your table?"

"Thank you" (f/n) got the glass from her and nodded, but her hand was shaking. As the glass was about to slip on her hand, Akashi arrived on time, catching the glass. His father, grandfather and her parents went towards them, worried to what happened

"(F/n), are you okay?" Akashi asked then let (f/n) drink "are you okay?" He again asked and received a nod from her "Takahashi, what happened here?"

"It happened after a server brought a plate of desserts." The security guard responded then pointed at the table sheet on the ground "she told me to move the plate further away."

"I clearly ordered not to bring any desserts on our table!"

"Eh? But I was ordered to bring a plate of desserts... I was ordered that she was requesting for it" the server a while ago moved forward to defend herself "I didn't know that it was your wife"

"Find that person and bring that person to me." Akashi ordered as he carried (f/n) then turned to the security guard "Takahashi, come with me." He then turned to (f/n)'s mom and slightly bowed down "please look after Hina for a while. I'll just bring (f/n) to my room"

"Sure, go ahead. Make her rest."

Akashi went to his grandfather and also apologized for the ruckus that happened.

"Are you okay now?" Akashi worriedly asked (f/n), who was now lying down on the bed

"Yeah, I just need to rest. Sorry for the inconvenience"

"You don't need to apologize. It should be me who needs to apologize since I left you there on your own."

(F/n) chuckled as she sat down, then held his hand, gently caressing it

"If we will apologize to each other back and forth, there will be no end. So let's stop it here. I am really fine, so go back to the party hall. It's your grandfather's birthday."

"But-"

"Seijurou, I'm fine. I just need some rest"

Akashi sighed in retreat as he nodded "I understand. I'll go back there, but I'll return here as soon as possible. I'll leave Takahashi outside the room, so if you need help call him, okay? And if you really need me, push the button for five seconds, and I'll return here."

(F/n) nodded and lie down once again. Akashi covered her in blanket then kissed her lips before leaving.

As he got out of the room, Takahashi was there, standing straight

"I'll leave her to you for now. I'll be right back"

Akashi returned to the party hall, and he was informed that the servant who served the desserts was in the kitchen, being surrounded by guards.

As he entered, he could hear the servant whimpering

"Then? Where's the person who told you to bring the desserts?"

"She said that she couldn't remember anymore. But she was sure that it was a woman who told her." One of the guards responded

"I am really sorry! I swear that I am not aware that it was your wife." The server cried

"A woman...?" Akashi crossed his arms and glared at the server "we'll investigate it more, and if I find out that you are lying, prepare for a punishment. For now, go back and do your job properly"

As he said that, he returned to the party hall and approached his grandfather, who was with his father, and (f/n)'s parents 

"How's (f/n)?" (F/n)'s father worriedly asked

"She's resting now in our room. I left Takahashi to guard. I'll return there as well" Akashi answered and informed them about the server "clearly, someone is trying to hurt her"

"It was no harm as of now. But we need to know who since that person has guts to do it here, during my birthday" Akashi's grandfather hissed

"Shiniichirou-sama, here's the scissor you asked to open the gift from the president of K-company" Akashi's grandfather's secretary approached him and handed a blue scissor to him

"Seijurou, make sure to find out who did that to your wife." His grandfather ordered with cold intimidating voice while cutting the gift on his hand "and make sure to let me know immediately"

"Yeah, we'll investigate-" however, Akashi was interrupted when the alarm on his phone rang loudly. He let it rang, but his eyes widened as the alarm didn't stop.

"Seijurou, turn that off" his father ordered but everyone was surprised as his eyes glinted, grabbing the scissor from his grandfather, then he shouted

"Don't let anyone out of this hall, no this house!" He ran out of the party hall asking two guards to follow him. He checked the gps and saw that (f/n) was still inside the room. He put his phone on vibrate mode for now, and he could feel the alarm wasn't stopping.

He ran towards his room and there outside the room, Takahashi was lying on the floor, bathing with his own blood.

Seeing that he was still breathing, Akashi immediately told the security guard to call an ambulance and police.

He carefully and silently opened the door just to see (f/n) nowhere inside. He stealthy walked inside until he heard two unfamiliar voices coming from the walk-in closet

"It's bad! She sent a message that he's coming back! What should we do?!"

"Already?! Well worst comes to worst, she said to use this woman to get away from here!"

"But she is pregnant... and she lost consciousness already"

"Who cares?! We were ordered to kidnap her and make sure she has miscarriage! If we don't, she won't do as what she promised! This woman is smart enough to hide here in the closet though. Anyways le-"

But the two men froze as they felt blade behind their neck. They felt cold and scared as Akashi's low voice greeted them

"I don't think you'll be able to get out of here without facing any consequences of what you did to my wife" he broke the scissor into two pointing each blade behind the neck of the two unknown men "get on your knees and put your hands up. One wrong move, and I won't think twice to what I will do next"

"If you do that you'll end up in jail. You sure are bluffing" the men on the right retorted but did what Akashi ordered as he felt the blade slowly penetrating

"Why don't you try it? Let's see if I am bluffing"

Not long after one of the security guards arrived and stopped Akashi. The guard requested for back-up as he seized the two unknown men

Akashi gave the broken scissor to the guard as he called his father. He also approached (f/n), whose hands and feet were tied, and her mouth was covered with tape

"Father, can you send Hina and (f/n)'s family to mother's own room? Also call the family doctor and go there as well"

"Huh? Why-?"

"Also, don't let anyone go home!" He ended the call and carefully removed the rope tied to (f/n), and the tape on her mouth. He also carefully carried her and before going to his mother's room

"Don't let these two bastards go. I'll deal with them later."

Akashi carefully lay (f/n) on the bed, making sure she won't wake up but

"Seijurou.."

"Oh, you are already awake. Sorry for waking you up"

She chuckled then pushed the button of her bracelet "this really works"

"Sorry again for leaving you like that. Were you okay? What happened?" Akashi worriedly asked

"Yeah, I am fine. I felt them entering the room when I heard a loud thud outside, then someone was trying to open the door. I thought Takahashi, but I felt weird when it wasn't using the code key. I went to hide in one of the wardrobes in the walk-in closet but I forgot my phone. Not long after, I felt them coming closer, I remembered the bracelet and after pushing that, because of nervousness, I lost conscious. I am glad that you saved me in time. Thank you"

Akashi touched her cheeks and sighed as he leaned his forehead to hers "you are very optimistic despite of what happened."

"I believe that you would be coming to save me after all." She chuckled and held his cheeks as well "but it's funny and at the same time scary that I experienced these during my first pregnancy."

"Don't laugh!"

She laughed still and it was then there was a knock. It was Hina and (f/n)'s family

"Mommy/neesan!" Hina and Sakura came in worriedly

"Ahre? Everyone is here? What's wrong?" (F/n) curiously asked

"Masaomi-san told us to go here" her mother answered "what happened?"

Akashi explained what happened resulting for her father and brothers to start cracking their fists, anger welling up

"It's time for brawl. Boys, let's go. Seijurou, where are those two bastards?!" her father started agreed by Yuki, Daisuke, and Haru

"Stop it you four!" Their mother hissed

"Don't worry, I'll deal with them. The doctor will be here soon. He'll check (f/n), and we might bring her to the hospital."

"You are exaggerating again. I am fine. I just need to rest"

"We need to bring her to hospital to make sure" her mother continued then turned to Akashi "your father also said to see them in the party hall. They aren't letting anyone go home after all. Go, and we'll look after her"

"But-"

"Don't worry. You can go."

Though reluctant, Akashi left with (f/n)'s dad. But before going back to the party hall, he returned to his room and there the police already arrived and he was informed that Takahashi was transported to the hospital already.

"So these are the scumbags that did that to my daughter" (f/n)'s dad cracked his fist and had an evil grin approaching the two "should I make you unconscious with my fists"

"Please stop that. Let's not solve it with violence." One of the policemen stopped him then turned to Akashi "we checked their phones and it seemed the person who ordered them already blocked them. But we will trace this number so no need to worry"

Akashi glared at the two men as he scrouched down, not leaving his gaze towards them

"No need, these two know her, the woman ordering them"

"We know that it was woman, but we don't know who" the man on the right retorted

"Nano" the man on the left answered, and the man on the right stopped him "there was one time when the call wasn't ended yet, then someone called her as Nano, then the call ended. That's all we know"

"Oi! Don't pull her down!"

"But nii-san, she abandoned us now! And there will be no guarantee that she'll do her promise that she'll pay for our parents hospital bill! If we are going to jail, then let them know whose the person responsible! I told you I didn't want to do this!"

Akashi stood up then turned to the policeman "double check what they said also"

"Someone named Nano, right?"

"No need. There's only one person inside the hall that has that name. Make sure to double check if their parents are in the hospital, and check the number messaging them if it is Akashi Nano's number. Ah" he again turned to the two men and glared at them "you'll still be in jail for hurting my security guard"

"Huh?! Indeed we trespassed, and tried to kidnap your wife, but for the security guard, we only made him sleep. If you could see on his neck, there's a needle there. We only received that to make him fall asleep" The man on the right retorted

"When we saw that he fall down, we forced to open the door. We looked for your wife and saw her unconscious inside the wardrobe. We were told to tie her down and make sure to cover her mouth. Then we received a message from her that you were back, then the rest was when you arrived"

Akashi looked at the policemen and ordered them "check if there will be luminol reaction on them. Also, ask them where they throw the chemicals they used. We're going back to the party hall. We'll bring couple of your men"

And for Akashi, he deducted that when the two men knocked Takahashi unconscious, there was someone nearby who knew about the plan, and stabbed him.

Akashi entered the room and he could feel the tension inside.

"My apologies for the wait" he approached his grandfather and bowed down "My apologies grandfather that this happened during your birthday party"

"Don't worry about it. How's your wife? And what really happened?"

"Unfortunately, Takahashi was stabbed and was transported to the hospital. As for my wife, she is currently resting with her family. But she was almost got kidnapped"

"What?!"

"Don't worry, the men who tried to kidnap her were already apprehend. However-" Akashi turned his head towards Nano and her family and glared at her "someone was behind it, and that person was the one who stabbed Takahashi."

He walked towards her and her family, making everyone in confuse, even her adopted parents. Following behind him was three policemen

"Is something wrong... Seijurou-sama?" Nano's adopted mother curiously asked

"Akashi Nano, we would like you to cooperate with our investigation" one of the policemen started

"Cooperate? Why would I?"

"You are the only Nano in this party hall after all" Akashi crossed his arms

"Huh?! Why would I cooperate without any proper reason!"

"An attempted murder and kidnapping happened inside this household. We were able to apprehend the underlings, but the mastermind abandoned them. And a clue was given so we will investigate everyone starting from you" one of the policemen explained making everyone in the party hall in surprised "we would like to check your phone, and if there's reaction"

"Reaction?"

One female security guard arrived and asked Nano to follow her. Akashi wasn't leaving his gaze towards her and he could see how nervous she was.

The other policemen also went around to ask if there's another Nano inside the hall, but there was none.

Not long after, the security guard returned, holding Nano's hands behind her back

"There's small reaction of luminol on her feet. She tried to run so I apprehended her. I would like to request to locate the weapon used."

Masaomi got the mic and apologized to everyone, telling them that the party had ended and they would be sending compensation to everyone for the inconvenience happened

"To think that it was faster than expected" Akashi smirked glaring at Nano, who was down on her knees

"So she is the mastermind?" Akashi's grandfather approached them and they all knew that he was mad "during my party"

"I think there's one more but this time, it won't be easy to get information." Akashi chuckled but the three Akashi looked at Nano with cold intimidating eyes "she had guts"

"I apologize to interrupt, but we checked her phone and we saw that the numbers of those two men a while ago were on her block list. We were able to retrieve the past messages." One of the policemen informed them, showing the messages

"Nano, why..?" Her mother asked in disbelief

"Should I ask you that question?! Why do you accept that woman in Akashi family?! She is just a babysitter! A worthless woman! Why did you let Seijurou to marry such woman?! I didn't expect her to be pregnant, but it became easier to bring her somewhere without you, Seijurou! She is unworthy of you! You need to get rid of her!"

Akashi sighed and shook his head "you kept on saying that my wife is unworthy in this family. Are you saying that you are worthy to be in this family?"

"Of course I am"

"Riko, Hisato, I'll give you two options" Akashi's grandfather interrupted

"Two options?"

"Your family will be remove from Akashi family, or revoke the adoption of this woman here. Pick your choice"

"Revoke th adoption..? Is that even possible?"

"It's possible and if you will choose that, we help you revoke that, as soon as possible" Masaomi responded "however, we must remove this woman out of Akashi family once and for all."

"You will tarnish the name of Akashi because of that woman!" Nano shouted and her parents couldn't believe what they were seeing

"Desperate as always" they all turned to that voice and it was Naomi, who just arrived "Happy Birthday, Grandfather. Sorry I was late, my flight was delayed and when I arrived here there were lots of police and even ambulance. The policemen didn't want me to enter but when I informed them that I am your granddaughter, they let me in. Just what's going on?!"

"Naomi, the party had already ended." Akashi retorted "this woman made a ruckus, stabbing Takahashi and trying to kidnap (f/n)"

"..." Naomi smiled and started cracking her fists, and immediately her fist landed on Nano's cheeks "YOU BITCH!"

Everyone stopped Naomi who was so pissed hearing what happened.

"Everyone here was holding back, you know" Akashi sighed

"How dare you stab Takahashi, and furthermore tried to kidnap a pregnant woman. You did those to my friends?!" She glared at her, emitting an immense death threat "Don't tell me... you are still dreaming of being Seijurou's wife?!" Naomi freed herself from the security guards then approached Nano again, who was now quivering "Nano, let me remind you bitch, you are just adopted. You were told not to tarnish this last name, but you sure didn't care about the consequences" she smirked and once again Naomi's fist landed in her face. Not a slap, but a punch "you really pissed me off bitch!"

Akashi sighed as he shook his head, their grandfather told the security guards to distance Naomi from Nano. It was then Akashi received a call from Daisuke

"The doctor suggested to bring nee-chan to the hospital for further examination to make sure that there's nothing wrong. We're planning to bring her there now"

"Wait for me, I'll bring her there myself." He ended the call then turned to his father "Can I leave this case to you now? I need to bring my wife to the hospital"

"Go, we'll take care of the things here." His grandfather told him

But before Akashi left, he turned to Nano and chuckled "I am surprised though that you were able to plan this out. You and him"

The doctor assured that there was nothing wrong and (f/n) was okay. Though her stress increased, and she looked tired, the doctor suggested for her to stay in the hospital.

Akashi agreed and let (f/n) stay in the VIP room. Her family returned to the Akashi main house and there stayed for the night as well. They looked after Hina, while Akashi stayed to look after (f/n).

"Don't look so devastated, Seijurou"

Akashi looked towards (f/n), who was smiling at him

"Sleep, take a rest. It's already this late" he held her hand

"I'm fine. I am indeed tired from what happened, but I am definitely fine." She chuckled "I heard what happened to Takahashi-san, and what you did to those two men"

"I told you, I would break my promise if anything happens to you."

She chuckled then sat down, Akashi helping her

"There's one thing I am really curious about though"

"What is it?"

"Why scissor?" She asked in disbelief "when I heard about what happened, I couldn't help but laugh! Where did you even get that? Do you have some censor or something? Or do you have it with you all the time?"

Akashi tilted his head and made a deep thought "well, I think I blanked out. Grandfather had it, and I just grabbed it. I felt threatened after all"

(F/n) laughed loudly, her face becoming red, and Akashi tried to stop her

"It's funny though. But still, it's good thing there was no one who got hurt"

"There's one, Nano"

"Nano? Her? Why?"

Akashi explained what happened and she couldn't believe that it was Nano who planned it, and Naomi didn't slap her, but punched her instead

"That woman, she likes you so much"

"More like she likes the fame being in the family."

She sighed and chuckled dryly "there are people who really doesn't want me to be in this family, because I was your babysitter."

"Who cares about that thing. Plus, they know nothing anyways."

"Anyways, those two men"

"Hmmm?"

"I heard that those brothers only did that because they had no choice. Their parents are both in the hospital. If it's true, can I ask you to handle the hospital bills of their parents?"

Akashi sighed and shook his head "should I remind you that they tried to kidnap you"

"They did, but because they didn't have any choice. Hearing about their circumstancess at the moment. They regret what they did, so please"

Again, Akashi sighed and just complied to her request. He didn't want to argue with it anymore

"Anyways, I'm begging you, sleep now."

She chuckled then held his cheeks "Seijurou, thank you for today. It was eventful, but I am safe because of you."

"I was scared to what would happen. But I am really glad you are okay. So now, behave. Again, please sleep already"

"Then can you sleep next to me? To be honest, I feel restless. The hospital bed is big enough for the two of us"

"You need to sleep comfortably-"

"I am more comfortable if you are next to me"

Akashi couldn't help but complied to her request, and they slept together, while Akashi was doing his best to support (f/n), and making sure she had enough space and that she won't fall off the bed.
