Miras pov

I was standing in front of tio Storms room. I always felt strange walking past it. His room was boarded up after he left. It was almost like he didn't exist anymore.

I reached out to the doorknob when..

"what you doing honey?"

I jumped in surprise. I turned around to see my mom's conserned face.

"oh hey mom" I waved nervously "I was just looking at tio storms room. It's kinda crazy how he disappeared like that huh?"

"yeah" mom sighed as he reached out to touch the door "I miss him. Dispite what kind of rumours the village spread about him he was a good man. I wish you could remember him probably mira"

I looked at mom sadly. I never knew mom missed tio so much. I mean we're not aloud to talk about him so I don't know how anyone feels about him.

Mom forced a smile on his face "try not to get too close to the door hon. You might get a splinter" he kissed my cheek before walking off.

Once mom had left I turned back to the door and took a deep breath..
