CHAPTER 21:

~~Billie's House~~

INTRO:

"I just want to let you know that he feels really bad" Michael starts

"and he wants to talk to you" he finishes

"Well I don't want to talk to him," I say

WHERE DO WE START? I say looking at the unloaded supplies that we have placed on the table

"The groceries" Ally suggests

"That would probably be the best idea" Jake comments and Billie wacks him the gut

"Ow," he says and leans over

We spend the next 20 minutes going through Billie and Michaels pantry and fridge reorganizing it to make it more organized, there is nothing wrong with how Billie has organized things, especially since her kids are a lot older than mine but if we are going to be having 7 people in the house we need to be as organized as we can

"Where's Michael?" I ask

"Still at your house with Louis and Grayson" Billie replies

"Oh, is he coming home tonight," I ask

"Probably not, the house is trashed so he is going to stay the night and finish the cleaning in the morning" Billie replies

"Does he know?" I ask and Billie and Ally put their heads down and go silent

"Yes," Ally says "he's pretty distraught"

"Oh well," I say "are we finished," I reply

"Yes," Billie says then shutting the fridge

"Now time for the bedroom," Jake says breaking the awkward silence,

"So I was thinking we stick you, Ava and Lola in the office and Saskia in Jamie's room," Billie says and we lug the mattress to the office, all of the houses has pretty much the same layout,

"Sounds good to me" I reply

The office wasn't very decorated like the one at Grayson and I's house, it has one set of shelves, one set of drawers on either side of the desk and a smallish closet on the side

"Okay, I can see some potential" Ally says and then starts to direct everyone around the office,

We move the deck to the corner near the door, we stuff, all of the boxes from the cupboard under the desk and set up a small changing station, we put the two draws in the empty closet.

The next step is to set up the blow-up mattress, we spend 15 minutes trying to do this, we couldn't figure out how to blow it up, which is remarkable for 3, 18 year olds and 1, 17 year old.

In the end, we blow up the mattress and put the sheets in the washing machine, Billie and I head down to grab the bags from downstairs so we can unpack

"Billie," I say stopping her

"Yes Aves"

"Thank You so much," I say and hug her

"For what?" she asks

"For helping me and letting me stay here" I reply and she smiles at me

"No problem, you're my best friend, I couldn't appear to have you heard," she says and we walk back up the steps to finish offsetting the room up.

Finally, everything is packed and ready in the office for the kids to be able to stay tomorrow and for me to be able to sleep for tonight.

"It's not much" Ally says

"But it's home" I reply and I look around the room, from the door, when you walk in the on the left there is a 3 of shelves that Billie had but hasn't installed yet, filled with all of the girls products and some of my beauty products, which Jake was able to put together.

On the right is the desk with the changing pad and the diaper caddy thing that I have- which has every supply that I will ever need, that Billie brought on that, with all the extra items I need, such as diapers and wipes, straight ahead there is the half-made bed.

The sheets are still drying, a salt lamp the right end of the room and a closet on the left that is hanging with all the girls clothes and me, the two draws on the bottom are filled to the brim with clothes, the first draw filled half with my clothes the other half with Saskia and Ava and Lola sharing the other draw, and other accessories and shoes displayed on the draws.

Then on the other side of the closet is a mirror with a power plug on the bottom paired with charging plugs, It isn't much, but it will do for now, and I am more than grateful to be here.

We then head over to Jamie's room and Jake sets up the mattress ad Billie helps me put the bed together, we head back downstairs and sit back on the couch, Billie makes some tea while we put on a movie, typical 18-year-olds we are watching a movie at 3 almost 4 am in the morning

Thank God my mother had my kids for the night

By the time the movie is over I am exhausted, I say goodnight to Jake and Ally who are leaving and help Billie with all do the dishes that we create, before the both of us trudge up straight and I settle into the not so comfortable blow up mattress.

I am woken up the next morning, by the sunrise and the birds chirping, I must have forgotten to shut the blinds, I yawn and rub my eyes, typing up my hair, I check my phone it's 9:30 am I headed down the stairs and no one else is awake, we'll it's Just Billie and me.

I heard Michael get home at around 6 this morning, which suprised me since Billie said he wasn't coming home.

I then proceed to make myself some hot chocolate because that is what I am craving, and I sit on their couch looking out of the window into the sunrise, just thinking, I can't believe hat has happened.

I have gone from being really happy with 3 perfect little girls and 1 amazing boyfriend, well he was only my boyfriend for 4 hours- but we have been living together for like 5 months

To a heartbroken now single mother which I guess you can call me, staying at my best friend's house, all in a matter of 12 hours, I sigh but get interrupted by Michael

"Hey Avery"

"Hi Michael," I say looking at him and he looks like a horrible, guesses that would be right considering he was hammered on the night of his 18 th and didn't go to bed until after 6 am

"I just want to let you know that he feels really bad and wants to talk to you" he says and starts to brew some coffee

"Well I don't want to talk to him," I say but he can't reply because of my phone rings and my mom's calling

"Hey Mum," I say into the phone trying to sound less I'm not sure, sad?

"Hey sweetie"

"Is everything okay?" I ask her

"Yeah, just one quick question I am at your house, where are you?" she says, and I can hear the girls in the background

"Omg um I'm so sorry I'm at Billie's house" I reply, and I feel so guilty, I completely forgot to tell her the change of location

"I'll be there in a minute," she says

"Okay" I reply and I put my cup in the sink waiting for my mum to pull in the driveway, a smile grows on my face when my girls jump out of the car and run to me, I laugh and hug tight

"I missed you guys," I say

"Me too mummy," Saskia says and Ava grips onto me and doesn't let go

My mum then wakes up to me and hands me the baby, and her baby bag

"Hey baby girl," I say and hug her close to me whilst trying to hold Ava

Mum then grabs Saskias hand and helps bring the bags inside, see the places them down at the door and I release Ava into the arms of Aunty Billie, I turn to my mum and hug her

"You look like a mess Avery"

"Thanks, mum," I say and she laughs

"When you're ready to talk, call Blair and I okay?" she says, and she grabs my shoulder, I hope to be like my mother one day, she somehow knows everything

"I will" I reply and wave to her as she drives away, the moment she speeds down the hallway Jake pulls up.

It looks like its going to be one hell of a morning, we're all exhausted and everyone is rolling in.
