    out of the sky carelessly.

You promised me

    and the crowds did roar.

You played me

    and I could only play along.

You loved me

    only for others to see.

You held me

    but still struck me down.

You left me

    when I suddenly became incomplete.

You turned away

    and left me lying there in recovery.

You found another

    only after I had fled.

You still lie

    have you poisoned her too?

You see her

    just as you saw me.

You now fear

    as I am whole again.

You now panic

    for I've found a cure.
