After reading some Homestuck I have been inspired to write a catch up for my story so that no one is lost or doesn't really know what's going on.

In the beginning of the story we see that, Adrien has become alone with no one to talk to but a mysterious voice in his head and Plagg. After Adrien witnesses through a news report that his former classmates, now the sixteen-year-olds Marinette and Nathaniel  are dating, he becomes jealous. Jealous of the fact he couldn't find the same love because the people of Paris had voted to disband Chat Noir and Ladybug and rather rely on their own National Guard to solve their problems. Chat Noir transforms against Plagg's will and the transformation is changed due to Adrien's mental deterioration. As Adrien's mind continues to dwindle he murders a police officer on a pursuit to The Bakery of the Dupain Cheng's. Where he last saw Ladybug.

As Chat Noir nears the bakery Marinette witnesses him land on her roof and scour his knee, only to see it regenerates. Freaked out of what he is gonna do Marinette exits her hatchway above her house hesitantly and speaks to Chat Noir. Chat Noir is desperate for information when he pleads with Marinette to help him find his love, Ladybug. It is then we learned that Adrien has been obsessing over Ladybug since their eventual disbandment. And we find out a voice has been plaguing Adrien's thoughts ever since the battle, and out of insanity one day, Adrien starts clawing at his chest where a purple spot had started to grow, to the point where he was ready to stab himself with a pair of scissors.

After a traumatizing experience in Agreste Manor Marinette moves on from loving Adrien, while deep down in her heart she still cared about him deeply. Inside Marinette's loft, she leaves Chat upstairs to find out he was being hunted by the Paris police department and the National Guard. When Marinette hears now Chat Blanc walk down her stairs, she grabs a knife to defend herself, only to find out that Chat Blanc has new tricks up his sleeve. When Chat Blanc successfully seduces and entrances Marinette he discovers the true identity of the Ladybug miraculous, and they share a half, unwilling kiss. But as soon as Chat thought he had his love, Nathaniel, Chat's former boyfriend who now stood at an impressive height and stature, stabbed Chat in the back with the same kitchen knife Marinette previously wielded. Yet not even a knife to the back of the neck could bring down Chat Blanc, Blanc stands up and as Nathaniel turns around to face him he is punched in the chest sending him sailing back into the wall.

Through Chat's anger and Nathaniel's scream of pain Marinette is broken free of her trance, she rushes upstairs as Blanc does away with Nathaniel, sealing the red-headed boy's fate soon after his life had truly begun. (As I am writing this my friend is playing a sad song on the piano beside me and it is filling me with inspiration) Marinette transforms and grapples out of there as the voice harshly scolds Adrien by causing his chest to burn like hundreds of lightbulbs being held against him. Then we meet three different people, the Minister of Defence of France, the President of France, and a bumbling police recruit named Durant. All three scrambling to find out what exactly was happening to the city they each had vowed to protect at the cost of their life, and their prime source of information is none other than himself, Gabriel Agreste, or to be exact the man under the mask of Hawkmoth.

They learn from Gabriel Agreste that Chat Noir (and unknowingly his own son's) downfall to insanity is spurred on by Nooroo, the formally innocent kwami who had now become a terror among the spiritual who wished to gain revenge against Chat Noir and Ladybug for slaying each of his precious akumas. And to steal away the love of his life, the precious and pure kwami, Tikki. Ladybug, the President, and Durant share words on the fate of France and they beg of Gabriel Agreste to tell them how to defeat Chat Blanc, and Nooroo himself. After the Ladybugs of the Past give Marinette permission to reveal her identity to the group. Gabriel shares with them that he himself doesn't even know if his plan would completely work, but he chooses to reveal it. (Next Chapter >:P)  And Nooroo takes Adrien on a tour of his mind and he learns what it's like in there, and Nooroo manipulates Chat Noir into giving Nooroo full control of his concious instead of half control, and that's where we left off.
