Chapter 14 (Part 2)
She moved her hand up to rub her head and try to clear her thoughts, and was surprised when she found it actually moved. It didn't feel right but she knew that she had moved it. When her hand came into focus she jumped back and screamed, well tried to scream it came out more like a yelp.
The Black wolf spun around instantly at the sound and looked at her with worry in his eyes. She couldn't focus on that wolf right now. She moved her hand up again to see if it was the same. She felt her mouth fall open as she stared at what should be her hand. It wasn't a hand at all it was covered in silver fur and had long sharp claws.
"A paw? How the hell do I have a paw?" she asked herself.
She was startled when she heard a loud growl and all of a sudden the three new wolfs were chasing after the original wolf through the forest. They were soon out of sight and she was able to focus on herself again.
She looked down and saw the reason on why she felt like she had dropped down to her knees earlier. She was sitting on the ground, but it wasn't really her sitting on the ground. It was a large shape covered in silver fur. Where she felt her hands should be there were two large silver paws. She tried to stand up and found herself wobbly she turned her head to look behind her.
"Holy shit, what the hell is going on," she thought to herself.
Where she should have legs there were two more huge silver paws. No wonder why she found it hard to stand straight. She wasn't use to walking on all fours. As she was looking at her legs that had somehow turned into paws, she saw a flash of silver fur come out from behind her then disappeared around her body again. She tried to turn to see what it was, but ended up falling since she was obviously not use to how these new limbs of hers worked.
She got back up to her feet and looked back again. The silver fur again came into view and just as quickly disappeared. She turned slowly this time so that she wouldn't fall but it was gone. She stared in that direction and the fur would appear and disappear, but every time she turned to follow it, it would be gone.
She sat down feeling defeated by the silver fur that kept avoiding her. As she sat down she heard a thumping sound next to her. She looked over and there it was that silver fur that she was chasing after. She lifted her front paw and slammed it down on the lump of fur. To her surprise a pain shot through her rear as soon as she dug her claws into the fur.
"Damn, what the hell was that?" she asked herself. Before she had time to figure it out she heard something coming through the forest towards her.
Instinctively she got up on all fours and tried to run back towards the estate. She didn't get but a few steps before she fell flat on her face.
"These stupid four legs!" she growled to herself.
She should have taken the time she had alone to figure out how they all worked instead of chasing the allusive fur. She managed to get herself back upright, but by that time it was too late the things that were coming toward her in the forest were just a few feet away now.
Without even knowing what she was doing she bared her teeth and growled at the approaching wolves. Two of them froze in place about 5 feet away from her, but the black wolf didn't stop. He was still approaching her slowly as if he was judging her reaction to him. She felt like she wanted to trust this black wolf, like she somehow knew him, but her instincts told her to stand her ground.
She lowered her head not moving her eyes from the eyes of the black wolf and let out another growl. This one seemed to have more anger in it than the first, and the black wolf stopped moving towards her. She started to back up slowly and carefully as to not lose her footing.
All of a sudden the black wolf launched off the ground and landed on top of her with his teeth around her neck. He wasn't biting down on her neck, but she felt that if she moved an inch his sharp teeth would rip through her flesh. She did what felt natural and let out a small whimper. The black wolf instantly removed his mouth from her throat, but still stood over top of her body. She didn't know what to do, she didn't speak wolf.
"What the hell does this thing want from me?" she thought to herself.
"Show him that you submit to him" the voice inside of her head said.
"How do I do that? Like I said I don't speak wolf." She growled back at the voice.
"Just roll your body on its side, then put your head down and your neck up" the voice said back calmly. Angel was furious with the voice, how did this voice know what she was supposed to do. She didn't know if she should trust the voice or not.
"You have to do it. He is waiting" the voice urged on.
Angel rolled her wolf body to the side placed her head down and her neck up the best she could manage in this weird body she was stuck in. To her surprise the Black wolf moved from over her body, and came to stand in front of her. He leaned down and nudged her face with his muzzle.
She stayed frozen to the ground in what the voice called her 'submit position'. The black wolf nudged her again and this time pushed up the side of her body with his muzzle. She took this as a sign that he wanted her to get up, and hoped as she slowly moved into a sitting position that her instincts were right.
She looked over and noticed that the other two wolfs were gone. She hadn't even noticed them leave. It was just her, and the black wolf left alone in the woods. She stared at the black wolf as it circled around her turning its head from side to side as if it was examining her. The wolf stopped when it was in front of her again, and moved closer to sniff at her neck.
To her surprise she found herself doing the same to the black wolf in response. It was like some other natural instinct was talking over her. The black wolf let out a low growl of approval. She knew that growl from somewhere. Where did she know that growl from she asked herself. The black wolf then rubbed it muzzle against hers and waited for her response.
She rubbed the wolf back with her own muzzle. She felt that was the right thing to do at the time. Then she almost jumped back when the wolf licked the whole side of her face with its tongue. She let out a small growl of disgust and the black wolf barked, but it almost sounded like a laugh to her. Then he licked the side of her face again and rubbed his whole body along the side of hers.
She found that she was no longer fearful of this wolf. Instead she found herself intrigued by him and wanted to find out more about him. She sniffed his face and sniffed along his back as she ran her body along his. There was something so familiar about this wolf, but she couldn't place it.
She walked back up to the front of the wolf and decided it was only right to cover his face in slobber since he did it to her. She licked the side of his face and he let out a low growl of approval. She found that sound had her feeling aroused by the wolf. She jumped back when it dawned on her.
"That's it!" She thought to herself. "That's what I have been missing. This wolf seams so familiar to me because I know this wolf. Its Ryan," she thought to herself.
How could that be? He's not a wolf, he's a human she just seen him this morning as a human. She then looked down at herself realizing what she was saying.
"I was a human this morning too, and now I'm, I'm a wolf too!"
The realization of what was happening had her head spinning and she could feel herself loosing her grip on reality. Her vision was getting distorted and she found it hard to keep her balance, then everything went black.
Ryan phased back to human form to pick up Angels now naked human body lying on the forest floor. She had become too overwhelmed by what was happening she had passed out. He wasn't quick enough to phase back and catch her so she had fallen and smacked her head on a fallen tree.
"I wonder if this is going to be a common occurrence." Ryan thought to himself as he carried her back to the estate.
This was the second time the woman had passed out and knocked herself out in the month that he had known her. He had one hand pressed over the wound across her forehead as he carried her back up to the estate.
When he arrived at the house he placed a night gown over her naked body and cleaned off the wound on her head with a cool rag. Tony and Jack were out patrolling the properties looking for any signs of more wolves. The wolf that had found Angel in the forest this morning was a male.
Ryan was sure that he picked up her scent in the woods and wanted to make her his mate. She was an unclaimed female, and was fair game to any male wolf. He had tried to keep as much of his scent on her at all times that he could, but without a soul bond he could not fully claim her as his. He sat next to the couch wondering what Angel was going to do when she woke up. He was trying to prepare himself for her reaction to finding out that she was a werewolf, but wasn't really sure what to expect.
