"Come on Y/n," Wanda encouraged, "Focus."

You stare at the mannequin, willing it to move.

You have been an Avenger for three months now, and Wanda has been teaching you how to use your telekinesis.

When you first got to the compound, you had absolutely no idea how to control your powers. One time you sneezed, and somehow accidentally broke the plate Bucky was eating off of.

In the months you have been practicing, you have learned how to pick up light objects, open doors and windows, and you could even unlock a door.

You have been practicing in the compound's gym, because Wanda said you needed to learn how to ignore all the activity going on around you.

Which unfortunately, isn't as easy as it sounds.

The mannequin started to hover above the ground. It was about six feet up, until you lost your mental hold on it, and it came crashing down.

You cursed as it fell.

"Language!" Steve shouted from the other side of the gym, where he was running on a treadmill.

"Focus," Wanda reminded you, and you  put your attention on the mannequin.

It rose higher then before, around ten feet up, until Clint yelled "Yeah Y/n! Focus! Don't let me distract you or anything!"

The mannequin fell, and you shouted "Would you just shut up Barton?" You glared at him.

"I told you not to let me distract you!" He argued.

You shook your head, and tried to focus again. The mannequin rose again, and you grinned.

Until an arrow shot at it, making you jump, and lose your mental hold. You glared at Clint, who stood with his bow, laughing his head off.

"You know what Barton?" You shouted, looking around the gym for an object you knew you could hold.

"Wha-" He started, but was cut off when a exercise ball slammed into his face.

He cursed, you high-fived yourself, laughing with Wanda.

"Get back to work Y/n," Wanda chuckled.

You focused again on the mannequin, smiling smugly when Clint didn't mess with you again.

Suddenly Vision appeared through the wall in front of you, surprising you, and you screamed, dropping it on his head.

He looked at you, "What was that for, may I ask?"

"Sorry," You shrugged, "Mental reflex, I guess.

"Vis," Wanda looked at him, "how many times do I have to tell you that walking through walls scares people?"

"I apologize, Wanda," he mumbled, "But Banner requests your presence in the lab."

"Okay, Y/n, keep practicing," She told you before leaving, Vision trailing behind her.

You turned back to the mannequin, but were distracted by laughing from your right side.

"Shut up Clint!" You muttered, glaring at him again.

He laughed , "That's all it takes to scare you? You should've seen your face!"

With a flick of your wrist, you bent the light around you, ultimately making yourself disappear.

"Y/n?" Clint said, realizing you disappeared.

You, still concealed, walked over to him and tackled him to the ground, playfully slapping him on the face.

"What the-?" Clint shouted, unaware that you were able to disappear with your strange light-bending talent.

You walked to where you were standing before you concealed yourself, and flicked your wrist again, making yourself appear. You doubled over, laughing at Clint's reaction.

"How long have you been able to do that?" He questioned.

"What are you talking about?" You tried to say with a straight face, "That wasn't me!"

"You're a terrible liar Y/n," He stated, "Really, how long have you been able to do that?"

"A couple weeks," you smiled smugly, "and that's what you get for distracting me."

"Well you need to learn-," he started.

"Could you please keep your bantering down?" Someone shouted, and you both turned to see Thor sitting on the floor in the corner of the gym.

"Um, Thor?" You questioned, "What the heck are you doing?"

"Tony gave me this Midgardian device," He said holding up a phone, "and downloaded somethi-."

"He gave you a phone, and downloaded an app?" Clint questioned.

"Ah yes,"Thor smiled, "That is what it is called."

"And why are you in the gym?" You asked, raising and eyebrow.

"Well, Lady Y/n," Thor started, "As I was saying, Tony downloaded and app that said it would be exercising my brain, so I came to the place where you Midgardians exercise."

You and Clint looked at each other, and burst out laughing.
